I was about to buy this game, but I’m having second thoughts after watching this review haha. Very impressive review! I like the way you talk and the way you explain very important details. It’s very clear and I definitely subscribed. These videos are very useful!
@@TaxxCollectorPrice isn't a factor of how good a game is. There are many great games that are (or were) constantly going on sale for barely anything, such as FNV, FO3, Spec Ops: The Line, etc.
What a disappointment this game was. I particularly enjoyed this review because it goes over most of the complaints I had, almost word for word. They sure dropped the ball with this one.
@@cristinamaiapm 1: affcourse they also play games, but maybe not as often as man in general. 2: If u really think that yourself then why are u watching this video?
I LOVED Syberia 1 & 2, and bought 3 as soon as it came out on Steam. Unfortunately, the controls were so glitchy it was unplayable. The mouse cursor would randomly disappear, and I couldn't actually make any progress. Although I wanted to play it, I had to get a refund.
You review is so honest, i seriously don't understand why you don't have at least 5K subs. I totally agree with the review. Hope the new one is better (and not like the demo , which suffers terribly , performance-wise - it has some of the same issues with syberia 3)
I got the most recent (and probably the last, since Sokal passed away during its development) - Syberia: The World Before, and really enjoyed it! I'd seen some let's plays of 3, and it looked pretty bad, but The World Before is beautiful to look at, and has some lovely characters. Puzzles were just right for me - got though the whole game without having to cheat, but they were hard enough - def had to think about them. And Oscar is hardly in it at all! Thank goodness! He makes a couple of token appearances, but he really doesn't need to be there at all - it's just a nod to the earlier games.
I enabled visual cues because I was so done with this game. I don't even know if I will finish it. I am incredibly frustrated with the mechanics and story.
Just finished today and in my opinion it wasn’t very memorable. It left me really upset with the ending and I didn’t even want to play the Oscar Adventure (which was completely different than what actually happened). I hope they do better with the next one. IF there will be a next one. Glad I played it though. Also Kate seemed a bit softer on Oscar than normal...
Im here as a big lover of syberia 1 and 2. Right now this game sells för 5 dollars on xbox, so im almost going to try it.. havent made up my mind yet..
Just bought the game for $1.47. Love the first and second. This third one, after about an hour playing, it feels a lot different than the first two and I think I don't enjoy it that much. I'm using RX 570 and it takes 130-140 watts to render a mediocre looking game at 60 FPS I think I'll pass this game, I still have plenty other unplayed games in my steam library
I got stuck on the mechanics with the breakers in the ship. Even if I go from 3 to 2 at the right time, it just seems to continue to go up while I'm already at 2. Just doesn't make any sense...? And also the mouse control doesn't do what I want to, it's so delayed that when I drag it towards 2 it pops back to 3...
I just seen a new, unopened Syberia Collection on PS3 for sale for $500. Most expensive game I ever seen I had to see what the game is about. I've never heard of it
Thank you so much for this review. Really enjoyed 1 and 2 and was eagerly awaiting 3 to find out the conclusion to the Voralberg story. Now that I know that the story goes of on a tangent I thing I'll give it a miss! Game play looks pretty awful.
I enjoyed playing the 1st one, then the storyline of the second one was a bit of a let down but I still enjoyed the puzzles. But that was nothing compared to this carbage. I could not believe how they haven't realised how much they've messed it up before the release. What a disapointment! It looked like a game from the last decade and playing it felt like I was playing the original resident evil, you know the one from the last century of course when they released it in the 90's it was good but we are now in 2020 and it is just unacceptable. This game sucks and I am not gonna waste any more of my time trying to complete it.
Oh dear, this makes me want to avoid the third entry of the series. I've got both first two games on the PC, the first on the switch, planning on getting the second again on the switch, then possibly the third-until this review.
I really wanted to like 'Syberia 3' considering the previous entries I liked, despite their numerous flaws and were mainly designed for the PC. Unfortunately, I was gobsmacked by how the developers let themselves go in terms of game quality, as next to near everything doesn't come close to surpassing its predecessors. Add to the fact the ending is a slap in the face of those who want closure, it makes you question should older games be brought back.
I read somewhere that they based her on Lara. To be fair, both have an obsessive/compulsive need to go on adventures and help people. Both have pretty much left everything behind. Thus, even their personalities match. The first game came put when Tomb Raider was already very popular so it's likely that the creators were influenced by Lara Croft.
Plays bad, looks bad, story is awful, most characters are awful... Puzzles are a chore. Worst - they destroyed yukols. They were this mythical tribe not seen outside few photos. But all of sudden they are well known in that city? And they changed from tribe to fat midgets
Canon Syberia ended with the second game for me!
Having played it, totally spot on, brilliantly accurate review. That voice acting in particular took me right out of the experience.
This is painful to watch. You gotta feel sorry for the developers.
bro ifeel so much pain after this omg what did i just watch oh fuck me
I honestly don't understand why you don't have more subscribers. You make well-produced videos with thoughtful commentary. Keep up the good work!
I appreciate your support. After all, making these videos for public consumption isn't a straight forward task.

Syberia 3 is about the plot not the graphics. Totally love the puzzles and more.
Sounds like a shitty game. Especially when the trilogy is on Switch for $7

It's an affront to Syberia 1 and two who were visually stunning games.
I bought new for 20$ mostly because adventure games need to be kept in Our Lives

You can easily skip gears when using a manual transmission. If you rev up the engine high enough, you can go from 1st to 3rd gear. LOL.
