Agent Intercept Review
Note: I'm covering the PlayStation 5 version, and also, the pronunciation of 'Sidhe' is 'shee' given it comes from Irish folklore in case you're wondering.
Beginning as a subsidiary of Sidhe Interactive (Sidhe as of post-2009), the New Zealand studio, PikPok, has been producing games for Android and IOS for over a decade.
However, PikPok released two ports from their catalogue; Into the Dead 2 and Agent Intercept - the latter of which I'm covering today.
After playing this over-the-top action title, the game is worth checking out despite some hiccups.

Carrion Review

Carrion is a 2D reverse-horror title from Phobia Game Studio, where you control an amorphous monster. The premise is intriguing and they're things it excels at, but the game's numerous flaws bring down the experience. Attribution: Phobia Game Studio & Devolver Digital owns Carrion. Devil May Cry 4: Special Edition Review
Просмотров 2,2 тыс.2 года назад
Disclaimer: At 10:33, I inadvertently mispronounced the word 'unpropitious', an oversight on my behalf. Devil May Cry 3: Dante's Awakening returned the series to form following its terrible predecessor, selling 1.3 million copies and receiving praise from multiple gaming outlets. Consequently, a sequel was on the cards, but there was a problem - where to go next? In addition, the next chapter w...
BloodRayne Betrayal: Fresh Bites Review
Просмотров 3463 года назад
Between 2002 and 2011, BloodRayne only had three games within its entire series, with BloodRayne: Betrayal being the latest release. Since then, new entries haven't been on the minds of game studios, including WayForward and original developer Terminal Reality. On a side note, a fourth game, BloodRayne: The Shroud, was in production but didn't come full circle, presumably due to BloodRayne: Bet...
Devil May Cry 3: Dante's Awakening Review
Просмотров 1703 года назад
Following two releases from Capcom, the Devil May Cry series built a so-so reputation; its 2001 debut was a critical and financial hit and is responsible for establishing the character-action genre, whereas the sequel was an embarrassment on many levels, like the unbalanced combat and Dante's jarring turn in persona. Even with the mess of Devil May Cry 2, it was commercially successful to consi...
Huntdown Review

Note: Around last October, I had an issue with a dodgy external hard drive containing assets related to my RUclips Channel, more importantly, an intro for every review. Fortunately, I fixed it after researching a solution, thus recovering all content. Huntdown is the 1980s-themed, 2D shooter by Easy Trigger Games and is engaging despite being their first title since the company's formation in 2...
Devil May Cry 2 Review
Просмотров 1573 года назад
In 2001, Capcom's Devil May Cry became a surprise hit, even though the intellectual property began as a Resident Evil sequel. Still, Devil May Cry was successful, so a follow-up was on the cards; however, instead of Team Little Devils and Hideki Kamiya taking responsibility, Capcom put it in the hands of another studio with an anonymous director. During production, the publisher didn't like its...
Ruiner Review

Ruiner is a 2017 isometric, twin-stick shooter by Reikon Games and published by Devolver Digital, which sadly doesn't quite deliver on its offering despite having some fun moments. You play as a masked character, whose sent to assassinate 'The Boss' after having your brain hacked. However, a young woman called 'Her' sets his mind free and claims Heaven, the corporation ruling Rengkok, is holdin...
Devil May Cry Review
Просмотров 1403 года назад
Devil May Cry is a 2001 action-adventure, hack-and-slash game by Capcom and is responsible for the birth of the character-action genre. It was initially going to be Resident Evil 4, and while that game did materialise, its initial pitch was different compared to the final release. Shinji Mikami, an executive producer, felt the direction was becoming too removed from the Resident Evil name. He i...
Wulverblade (PS4) Review
Просмотров 3873 года назад
Beat 'em ups have been around for decades and many have left their mark, such as Golden Axe, Streets of Rage, Double Dragon etc. From Darkwind Media and Fully Illustrated, Wulverblade is another IP to the genre. Notwithstanding its shortcomings and being derivative mechanically, the combat is fun and stands out due to the setting and passion for the history of Roman-occupied Britain. Sources: G...
Cloudpunk Review

Cloudpunk is a narrative-driven adventure game where you play as Rania, a young woman from the Eastern Peninsula working for the suspect delivery service, Cloudpunk. Note: The video doesn't feature my logo intro as usual because my previous external hard drive it was on broke during production. Ghost of Tsushima Review
Просмотров 2354 года назад
The PlayStation 4 has been on the market for seven years, and with its successor not far away, it only makes sense for the system to go out in style - especially when it comes to console exclusives. Despite suffering a delay due to the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic, Ghost of Tsushima by Sucker Punch Productions is outstanding, and what a way to close out the console's lifecycle. Star Wars Episode One: Racer Review

The Star Wars brand has existed since 1977, gaining a considerable following and expanding into other forms of entertainment, including video games. 'Star Wars Episode One: Racer' came out in 1999, the same year Star Wars: Episode One - The Phantom Menace came out. More than two decades later, it's now available for the PlayStation 4 and Nintendo Switch, but this review is from the PS4 version....
Maneater Review

Maneater is a role-playing action game by Blindside and Tripwire Interactive, responsible for the Red Orchestra and Killing Floor series. Controlling a shark mixed with RPG mechanics seems interesting, but unfortunately, it doesn't deliver on its potential. You take control of a female bull shark, whose seeking revenge after the fisherman, Scaly Pete, captured and killed her mother. As her offs...

Ace Combat 7: Skies Unknown (PS4) Review
I wish i would find another game like this, I enjoy a lot of playing this game
I was so afraid of these zombie monsters back when I was 14 😂 By far the most scaring monster. Why don't you show in your review? The game had a 12-year-old rating btw as far as I remember, whereas frankly I would have thought 16-year old would have been more suitable.
Is there a second part to the game?
Dusted this off and installed it. It brings back memories of old space games like Wing Commander, Freespace and Elite. Good review!
What the developers should have done was give all 5 characters their own playthrough like Vergil got. So Nero gets 1-20 missions. Lady gets 1-20 missions. Dante gets 1-20 missions and Trish gets 1-20 missions. If they had done that the game would have been much more enjoyable. It is enjoyable but it would have been much more enjoyable if they had done that.
2:55 Goddammit, this one.
Ur to hard on this game, you have to it with a bit ease
Picking up the trilogy on switch on sale tomorrow:)
Unlocking stuff was not a proplem, so he sucked at the game.
No man skys early days lol😂
Nice review bro. Objective and to the point; unlike those other jokers reviews.
Fun fact: This game was the reason my dad had to install a secondary hard drive to our Windows 98 PC at the time. He added a massive 30GB drive alongside the original 4GB drive, for £80. What a bargain!
very good review. game looks too hard for me. it's on sale on ps store... maybe i'll try it out...
I liked this game 😃
Why is this stretched to 16:9 format? Surely it wouldn't be difficult to display the game in its proper 4:3 aspect ratio for Pete's sake.
I love this game! Xia was my favorite! I swear every single time I play I choose her 😊 I finally got the game on PS4 bought it off the ps4 store and it’s totally worth it! Now that I’m older I finally beat all 3 seasons and bonus tracks and unlocked all characters! Oh man they feeling was great! Felt amazing! Lol I would recommend anyone who loves racing games to buy this game! It’s worth it! ❤
Hasn’t aged well? The fuck are you smoking? This game is absolutely better than any of the shit we got today. The reason why you can’t choose or upgrade ships is because the League has limited resources so it makes sense. As far as gameplay this game makes you actually use skill and somewhat critical thinking. If you have issues? Then you just suck, games shouldn’t be easy they should always be challenging and fun. Colony Wars hit the nail on the head with it. I’m seriously starting to believe people who complain about a game being “too difficult” just suck and are shit with no skill.
Available now on ps4 and ps5.
What an oddly abrupt ending to that video... And you don't give us a recommendation or a score of any kind. Not sure if this really qualifies as a review? Anyway - G-Police is a classic example of a game whose ambition exceeded the capabilities of the hardware it was released on at the time. The draw distance was an issue, but I loved the controls. They took a little getting used to but they never felt unfair, juts had a high learning curve. Once you had your setup and got used to it, it was a lot of fun flying around shooting enemy craft down with the various weapons at your disposal, and it was one of the earlier PS1 titles to give you a true sense of 3-dimensional gameplay. I would LOVE to see a reboot of this today, along with Colony Wars. They share similarities in gameplay and graphical limitations. This is the kind of game that is best enjoyed on a decent emulator like Duckstation so you can ramp up the frame rate and smooth out graphics, etc. among other tweaks to optimize what's there.
You say it hasn't aged well but this thing is over 20 years old... And it STILL looks rather rad! Compared to other PS1 games of its time, it was years ahead. This was basically a mature, 3-D version of Star Fox.
This game was awesome, it had great fighting and choices. Dogfights, escorting and taking out giant enemy ships!! Still looks cool 😎
This game is disturbing, very underrated
Its one of my favourites, ive immersed in until the end, it has its drawbacks, but i like it, its somewhat different. Just try it and see for yourself.
This game worth a lot for PS3 game
this came is super underrated. and i wouldn't call it a hack and slash, the combat actually takes quite a bit of skill, especially on hard
One of my favorite games ever. I just replayed part 1& 2, while also starting playing "the world before". It's so great to see Kate Walker again! 🥰
No love for 3 ?
I enjoyed New Nightmare for what it is, and It was suppose to be the beginning of another trilogy, but those plans got scrapped, which is unfortunate. I feel the series would've been in far better shape had they just proceeded with the New Nightmare reboot trilogy. The 2008 game and 2015 Illumination were so bad, they virtually killed the series. So, it's an amazing miracle that Alone in the Dark 2024 got made which is now possibly the best game in the series thanks to modern gameplay & graphics, and being a faithful & respectful homage to the 1992 original.
I got the most recent (and probably the last, since Sokal passed away during its development) - Syberia: The World Before, and really enjoyed it! I'd seen some let's plays of 3, and it looked pretty bad, but The World Before is beautiful to look at, and has some lovely characters. Puzzles were just right for me - got though the whole game without having to cheat, but they were hard enough - def had to think about them. And Oscar is hardly in it at all! Thank goodness! He makes a couple of token appearances, but he really doesn't need to be there at all - it's just a nod to the earlier games.
The map DOES tell you what room you're in (it's the blinking one).
Man…I’ve just installed this in 2024 about to go down memory lane 😂
My fave game!
Instasubbed! Thanks for this review. It's on sale on the switch and I haven't played since the xbox 360 version came out. Came looking for some footage and found your great channel.
I think Psygnosis were fans of both Star Trek and Star Wars. Sure the Imperial Capital ships have a strong Trek vibe but the rebels having stronger fighters then the enemy but weaker capital ships is a Star Wars thing. Not always accurate in Star Wars (The good guys usually have better small and midsized ships or at least on par but for the big ships the bad guys usually have a firepower edge)
This series was underated as hell, highly intelligent and good quality British developers along with the legendary Bullfrog ❤️ shame that oversaturated mindless violence from the Assassins Creed, Call Of Duty and GTA series dominated the earth In the end. Oh well 😘
Capcom just kep't messing up, they shouldn't have added a new character like nero.
This was originally supposed to be a STRIKE game
I want to appreciate the criticism of this game but it feels like you're laying into it with the hammer of a modern game development suite. I've played this and it is by far and away better than may other titles of it's time. If I'm being honest, I think you're being unreasonable with your evaluation. When this came out the idea of operating in full 3D on home consoles was still a very new equation for developers to crack and quite honestly I think they did a bang up job compared to many games you can play today with decades of experience now on the table. If you're going to be critical, at least be reasonable about the tool that were available at the time. Not every older game can meet modern expectations.
The first one is my favorite
Gee, police!
Have on 360 just brought on ps5
Hello, do you have this game for 360? Did you just bought it for PS5?
@@DiegoMidnightSun I have it on the Xbox 360 but I bought the remastered version on the PS5 marketplace
@@DiegoMidnightSun Hello, yesh they had the game on the Xbosh 360 and now, they just took it to PS5
@@78cr83 Good to know, I’m flabbergasted.
And now, remastered on the DuckStation, it gets better to replay!!❤
I know syberia from my childhood i play it with my uncle or his friends has play it and than give it to my uncle and then to me idk right but it's a really beautiful memory for me i also The first syberia Games big big love with them
Thank you for the great Review
That was one of the best games in PS2, from all the games I played this one stick with me
Level eight is BS why isn’t the a hold button option?
Even as the series’ black sheep, I still had a lot of love for Red Sun back in the day. The plot never made much sense, but there was an interesting premise somewhere in there. Sadly it felt rushed and lacked the coherence of the first two games. Still a fun space shooter, if not a great Colony Wars sequel.
Loved this series! Vengeance improved on some things, but I actually preferred the original’s tone and atmosphere.
Agreed. The first game is the best one.
''One of the worst games on ps2'' You've played very few ps2 games then. The game is not good, its not bad either. Its mid.
As an N64 kid I always wanted to play this series, but by the time I got a PS2 there were so many more games to play to go back to the previous gen
Do you plan on reviewing G-Police 2?
