AC3 was underrated Edit: When it first came out the game had a lot of criticism, but looking back everyone agrees this game was amazing. That’s why it’s underrated. l know it sold well on release, mainly because of AC2. But that’s the point, this game was in AC2s shadow at the time and was compared a lot to it.

The problems I found with 100% AC3 were some of the ridiculously difficult optional objectives and completing the homestead. Other than that, it was a really good game, although it's not on my top 5/3
HOMESTEAD SOLUTION! I found that at Davenport Estate, sometimes the inhabitants would not appear on the map unless I went south, that is how they are loaded into the game. Each inhabitant of the estate is programmed to be loaded into the game if you are within 90 meters of them. Mark them on the map to see how far away they are. In my case, Norris kept looking at his lantern, so I walked a little more than 90 meters away from him and came back a couple of times until I found him talking to Lance in the mine. This works for all inhabitants.
Platinuming this game was fun, although the 100% was a bit tedious. Really good AC. The templars arent evil jerks, but reasonable characters. The combat is so fast and smooth. Ubisoft used to be one of the best, i think something happened after the Watch Dogs controversy that really changed them. But still AC3 was a masterpiece in my book, what made me fall in love with the ORIGINAL franchise (def not Origins and beyond)
I see whats u saying about AC 3's Stealth is very...absent and mid at its best , especially me coming from Unity after 100 % completing EVERYTHING and ABSOLUTELY LOOVING IT , BUT if u really master it its...AMAZING and veery UNIQUE actually
I’ve probably spammed it in comments before, but I need to rant man. Love your videos btw. I’ve been obsessed with achievements in 2023. I cleared my backlog, MGSV, borderlands 3 (plus all 6 dlc), devil may cry HD (all 3 games fuck my life), stray, crash 4, crash n’sane, Spyro remake (all 3), uncharted 4 and lost legacy and so on. It’s actually extremely annoying that steam shows you the dlc achievements in the list so even if you complete the game, it doesn’t show. I swear it’s a psychological trick to make you buy the dlc. Anyways, in varying degree I’ve enjoyed most of the games, a lot are really hard too and a great challenge. Then I went to one game I had in my library. Dirt Rally 2.0. How hard could it be? Well let me tell you I am 170 hours in with a controller and I’m missing 2 achievements. The game overall isn’t so hard but the flat out dlc 5 Colin McRae is absolutely disgustingly hard. It’s a 9/10 in pstrophies with a completion of 150 hours. 150 hours for 5-6 trophies. One is the toughest one, called flat out. It requires you to finish all 40 scenarios on very hard difficulty. I have about 10 left now. This game, I have not enjoyed a single second of it. I am doing this because I am stupid, stubborn and it’s so rare I want to finish it. I will never play a racing game ever again after this. Fuck this game, I swear I want to see a trophy hunter try this. Anyways, I recommend trying the devil may cry hd collection trophy, it’s a great challenge. DMC 2 sucks but whatever. I’ll go back to watching the video now.
I actually liked doing The Underground stuff. Especially after the pain I went through trying to get the Original Gamer Trophy 💀 That imo is easily the worst part of the entire game. All the trophies I have left to unlock are the DLC ones
I really enjoyed watching you earn the Platinum in this one. This was one of my favorite games. This and Black Flag. I enjoyed Oddysey and Origins too. Valhalla was crap compared to these games. I have the Platinum in Oddysey, Origins (and 100%), and Syndicate. I think I might re-explore the first three again and try to platinum them. The multiplayer trophies in 2 might hold me back though.
Unfortunately what happened with the AC series was the launch of Unity. Now it's a great game but the launch made Ubisoft stop what they were doing and change the entire franchise up. Mirage is definitely a step in the right direction.
although AC3 storyline was a little beat weak, but you can't disagree by the fact that AC3 opened a lot of new game mechanics...from tree parkour to naval battle
probably because Origins can be done quicker.. I done Origins quicker than I did this game lol. If you said Valhalla then I'd been impressed, but Origins is a 50 hour platinum, not that big

I wish I could go back and play ac3 for first time cause man back in the day I played this so much. Love the story
I kid you not I actually just got this Platinum this morning so this is actually perfect timing 😂
awesome!
People do be hating on this game but it's my favorite one in the series
great vid! how do you get the videos out so fast?
I'm the worlds greatest gamer.. or I just play a lot of video games.
Ill let you decide
I actually liked doing The Underground stuff. Especially after the pain I went through trying to get the Original Gamer Trophy 💀 That imo is easily the worst part of the entire game. All the trophies I have left to unlock are the DLC ones
I remember getting this plat 😊 brilliant job very well done.
You can get the platinum in AC 2 without any multiplayer!
Great work Studdy :D Greetings from Poland and hope someday you will platinum witcher 3 and cyberpunk 😅
I just finished getting platinum on the ezio collection.
now this is my next goal.
The platinum for Assassin’s Creed Liberations is definitely worth it, super easy, and literally took me 4 days to get it.
I did end up doing it, theres a video on my channel.. I didnt like it, it was easy but boring imo
I’m currently almost finishing up Unity. I do want to go grab AC3 platinum soon.
Well done on another platinum!!! Out of the Assassin's Creed games which platinum are you dreading trying to get?
You took more time to do this than I did with AC Origins
probably because Origins can be done quicker.. I done Origins quicker than I did this game lol.
If you said Valhalla then I'd been impressed, but Origins is a 50 hour platinum, not that big
Played a bit of AC3 back in the day and i didnt platinum because i hated multiplayer, didnt know remastered did away with multiplayer so might try platting it at some point. Well done on the plat
I'm with you...but the multiplayer was the easiest part of AC3 for me.
This was my first assassin creed game what i played
I must have watched the trailer for this at least 20 times when it dropped 😂
same bro! Trailers for this game was amazing!!
Do you have videos lined up or can you just platinum these games just that fast? Love the content btw.
depends really.. I am able to get videos out pretty quick but I also sometimes have videos lined up.. like when I was aiming for the Gollum platinum I had the L.A Noire video lined up
I completed 100% of the game and i assure this is one of the most time consuming achievements ever my god, for only 40g
