I would honestly recommend playing Black Flag before playing Rogue (because of a specific character whose appearance in Rogue will be more impactful after having played Black Flag). While a lot of people loathe Rogue, I actually really love it 😅

Yeah I plat this a few years back and when you put into account that it was a psp game, I thought the game was fine. Having the different outfits and the gameplay effects it had was cool but as you said the audio and voice acting was objectively bad. Also I don't know what my luck was but this game was ironically way less glitchy than AC3 for me
Great completion! I thought this game was good despite the limitations they had (the game released on the PS Vita). I do think if this game got a full on remake being able to flesh out everything like the persona system no doubt this game could be better
I’m still impressed by the scale they were able to achieve on such a weak handheld. I think people are way too hard on it. I get it’s not perfect, but expecting it to be exactly like the console versions is silly and despite that it still is as close as they had gotten at that point as the previous handheld games were…. Not even close. A proper remake that fixed up some issues would be so good
I love this game. I have a soft spot for the PS Vita and it’s former exclusives like this. The Vita version had an absolutely awful “multiplayer” mode with trophies. To this day I don’t know how it even worked. I did it though. The HD trophies are way less annoying and grindy than the original Vita version. I got the plat twice. I’d do it again too if I could’ve bought the PS4 version separately. 😞
Liberations was a PS Vita game. It didnt do too hot so they ported it to consoles and it was included in the remaster of AC III. This was one of the only games I had on my Vita, alongside Jetpack Joyride
Rogue was my first Platinum, but, I actually liked this game and have the Platinum for both PS3 and 4 versions, apparently the Vita original didn't have the Theme tune [ I never owned a Vita but I understand that Winnifred Phillips tune is missed out from that version ]and of course it had Multiplayer, which I am glad that this doesn't have. A lot of the Southern States were former French colonies, I think a French dialect is still spoken in those areas to this day. In this the Spanish are trying to claim New Orleans for themselves, and as Aveline we are basically trying to prevent that alongside discovering whom the head Templar is in her city.
I'm pretty sure you'll enjoy the platinum for AC Rogue. To give some kind of context I've played them all (apart from liberation and Vallhala... Which I do own). I've platinumed 2,3, Rogue, Syndicate and Odyssey so I do kind of know what I'm talking about.

Not sure if you apply or is of any help at all, but what I find most productive with open world game when I plat them is to do everything in that area (Collectibles, miscellaneous, ETC) that I can and move to the next one so when I finish the game I don't have much grinding to do and I'll have very little trophies left before I get the plat.
That's hard to do in a few of the AC games. In 3, the viewpoints don't unlock the entire map, so there is a lot of running around, waiting to trigger things to update the map via proximity. Black Flag & Rogue have tons of collectibles scattered around in the middle of ass nowhere where you can really only get to by ship.
Tbh , As much as it was a PSP or whatever The game it is solid combo for a Transition from Ezio games to AC3 .. it was nice blend and transition from Old to New Era. Again the Only reason Ubisoft Games fail it's Because or they make it Quick and Dirty or Bloated and Draining. That's why Brotherhood/Revalations was the perfect Dip.
Nice one, I need to try this one out still. I did Unity recently and started Rogue, but stopped because I needed a break from Assassins Creed. Currently working on Cyberpunk (gonna be loonng), and It Takes Two with my friend which is super fun.
I’ve not finished the story yet with me having 2 Plats on the go, but it seems to be 1 play through, with a manual save before a certain mission. Plus not spending any money or using attribute points until later on. I’m being very careful incase I mess it up.
@@itsstuddybeing a proud owner of that platinum it's really not that bad just long but I found the story and characters pretty engaging so that wasn't an issue. All endings need to be done but this is easy to do with a backup save I recommend you use a guide if you go for it so you don't mess up. Very fun platinum and game

Liberation HD was originally Assassin's Creed III: Liberation for the PSVita. It requires the touchscreen and motion controls. There's also more trophies. Rogue is by far the worst in the series.

@@itsstuddy I have all of the main games with the platinum. Rogue just does a swap of roles, and takes the limited Brotherhood into the Order's roles from previous games. It literally breaks the Creed's Tenets with the Assassins having hideouts in full display, taking innocent hostages, and just simply doing everything that the Templars did while the Templars are following the base Tenets of the Creed.
Had the Lady Umbrella Poison Glitch 3 FUCKING TIMES !!! I got the Platinum tho and the game was actually fun and actially had good graphics especially for its standards being over a decade old remastered portable game

Has anyone had MAJOR issues playing this game on PS5? I've had multiple crashes and two heart attacks after the PS5 told me the save got corrupt. Fortunately it never got corrupt because its loading my save just fine. But still! 😡 Anyone else having the same issues?
I liked the ideas Liberation had, some of them were executed very poorly, and in some areas you really can tell it was originally on PSP. Glad I got the plat for this game but there are better AC games out there. And better AC plats. Still good addition to your on going list. But the best AC plat to have is Black Flag, glad I have that one, the multiplayer was super grindy.
U said ur gonna try Black Flag, as a trophy hunter, are u willing to do the multiplayer trophies too? Old games servers wont stay up forever. Always an issue trying to get old MP trophies done before the plat becomes unobtainable.
yeah I'm aware of the MP trophies, I know the game is still active and is active enough to get to the needed levels, plus Ill ask people I know for help in getting those online ones.. I've done far FAR worse MP trophies than AC Black Flag so all in all I'm not too worried
I’m working on ff16 plat and let me tell you that is absolutely great and amazing and I highly recommend to go for it because it have the best boss fights in video games history (GOTY for sure )
@@itsstuddyFF is basically all stand alone short of stuff like “FFX-2”. It’s actually a perfect entry point since it has very minimal RPG mechanics, which is a lot of people’s complaint about the game. But personally I loved it and while the gameplay of the sidequests aren’t interesting, the story bits added a lot to character development and works building so for all but like two it was worth it. And those two was more because the side quest npc voice actor. Talked… like… this-- the whole. Time…. With… pauses…. It was so annoying I can’t finish but you get the idea. Fun game. The platinum is potentially very easy if you choose to cheese it with the assist rings (auto dodge, etc).
@@itsstuddy yes and a the really important thing is that every final fantasy have different total story, you can make a game by yourself basically like make your own difficulty by using cheat rings on the game that will give you some abilities to make you overpower
I'll be honest, Liberation is probably my least favourite AC game, so much so that I couldn't even remember the protagonist's name for a second (she was so bland and forgettable, personally). It's sad since I can remember the names of each playable character except for her (and I haven't even played 3 of the games). Like you, I enjoyed the parasol gun, but that was pretty much it with regards to what I liked. The game was buggy, the environments were so bland and badly textured/optimised that to call them cookie-cutter is an insult to cookie-cutters, and I could barely understand the story. I still got the platinum, but to me it seems like Liberation was the lowest point that Ubisoft had sunk to.

I don’t like it so much that you didn’t like the game, because it’s my favorite game. I completed the game with great pleasure for platinum, having bought the re-release on PS4, I really liked the combat, platforming levels in Mexico, cart riding, parkour through the trees, social stealth (the only one in the series), farming money on the mini-game with ships and the level with the main character Part 3 in winter New York. And I was interested in watching the plot, even despite the leaked ending, because slavery is an underrated setting, I don’t like it so much that this game is undeservedly underestimated, and is unreasonably considered bad, when I had great pleasure in playing it .
yeah on the Vita it seems okay but clearly a lazy port over.. and even compared to other Vita games I played back in the day its not even that good imo

I think it was so bad because, plot wise, the game is just a marketing scheme by the templars.
already got the plat on AC 2 and brotherhood, working on revelations and hopefully one day I’ll have them on all the main AC games

AC Rogue is underrated. Story was amazing and the boat combat is better than Black Flag.

This was incredible for a vita game. For a big boy console/PC game, not as much.
I liked the ideas Liberation had, some of them were executed very poorly, and in some areas you really can tell it was originally on PSP. Glad I got the plat for this game but there are better AC games out there. And better AC plats. Still good addition to your on going list. But the best AC plat to have is Black Flag, glad I have that one, the multiplayer was super grindy.
Yeah that seems to be a theme that everyone agrees on.. Liberation had good ideas but somehow ruined it

U said ur gonna try Black Flag, as a trophy hunter, are u willing to do the multiplayer trophies too? Old games servers wont stay up forever. Always an issue trying to get old MP trophies done before the plat becomes unobtainable.
yeah I'm aware of the MP trophies, I know the game is still active and is active enough to get to the needed levels, plus Ill ask people I know for help in getting those online ones.. I've done far FAR worse MP trophies than AC Black Flag so all in all I'm not too worried

I’m working on ff16 plat and let me tell you that is absolutely great and amazing and I highly recommend to go for it because it have the best boss fights in video games history (GOTY for sure )

@@itsstuddyFF is basically all stand alone short of stuff like “FFX-2”. It’s actually a perfect entry point since it has very minimal RPG mechanics, which is a lot of people’s complaint about the game.
But personally I loved it and while the gameplay of the sidequests aren’t interesting, the story bits added a lot to character development and works building so for all but like two it was worth it. And those two was more because the side quest npc voice actor. Talked… like… this-- the whole. Time…. With… pauses…. It was so annoying I can’t finish but you get the idea.
Fun game. The platinum is potentially very easy if you choose to cheese it with the assist rings (auto dodge, etc).
@@itsstuddy yes and a the really important thing is that every final fantasy have different total story, you can make a game by yourself basically like make your own difficulty by using cheat rings on the game that will give you some abilities to make you overpower
I'll be honest, Liberation is probably my least favourite AC game, so much so that I couldn't even remember the protagonist's name for a second (she was so bland and forgettable, personally). It's sad since I can remember the names of each playable character except for her (and I haven't even played 3 of the games).
Like you, I enjoyed the parasol gun, but that was pretty much it with regards to what I liked. The game was buggy, the environments were so bland and badly textured/optimised that to call them cookie-cutter is an insult to cookie-cutters, and I could barely understand the story. I still got the platinum, but to me it seems like Liberation was the lowest point that Ubisoft had sunk to.
glad I'm not the only one.. seems alot of people share our thoughts with this game, but yeah I didnt even mention the environment towards the end, I liked the areas at first but the more I played the more I realised how EMPTY it was
It’s funny to see people comment like this very clearly having never played the previous handheld AC games before this one. This was a huge step forward for them. Kinda wish it stayed there as clearly people expect it to be something it’s not. This didn’t have the budget, or hardware, to be judged against the main games. Yet here we are
Black Flag, Rogue, and Liberation... I think you forgot about chronicles. At the very least the disc version has a platinum.

It was a ps vita exclusive back in the day, that’s why is so meh compared to the other games.. I tried to do the Platinum but it’s so boring that I had to give up.
I got it in 13:30 hours and it was basically collectibles after collectibles

I don’t like it so much that you didn’t like the game, because it’s my favorite game.
I completed the game with great pleasure for platinum, having bought the re-release on PS4, I really liked the combat, platforming levels in Mexico, cart riding, parkour through the trees, social stealth (the only one in the series), farming money on the mini-game with ships and the level with the main character Part 3 in winter New York.
And I was interested in watching the plot, even despite the leaked ending, because slavery is an underrated setting, I don’t like it so much that this game is undeservedly underestimated, and is unreasonably considered bad, when I had great pleasure in playing it .
Liberation wasn’t that bad when i played it and got the platinum on my ps vita long time ago.
yeah on the Vita it seems okay but clearly a lazy port over.. and even compared to other Vita games I played back in the day its not even that good imo

It started as a PSP game.. so that is why it might not look as good as the others.
I did think that but then some of the PSP/PSVita games where amazing! This just felt bad even for a PSP game!
