I don't get how anyone can say Rogue was terrible.. Shay's story is one of the best in the series and the way it ties into AC3, Black Flag, and Unity is really neat. Only complaint I had was it wasn't long enough.
Everyone has their opinion but the general opinion of this game is that, it could of been better if it had more passion.
Suppose everyone has there own tastes... but I agree, I really liked how we got to see the other side of so many stories, they linked together SO WELL!
@studdyV2 it didn't help at all that it was paired up with unity. So it was swept under the rug cause of it. Regardless the game is good, just could of been better.
@@shirez1654 not to mention that Rouge had no where near the development time that unity did. Rouge was made in months I think from a smaller Ubisoft studio while Unity was made by one of the major Ubisoft studios for years.
It's the opposite of Black Flag in many ways but still very similar. These 2 games felt like 2 halfs of one big game.
In my opinion the most underrated AC game.
this or Unity 100%.. Unity had a rough release and a lot of people didnt go back.. both are amazing & underrated tho

Since you are asking for recommendations. Have you ever heard of the alphabet challenge? Don't know if that's something you like, but it's getting the platinum for a game each responding to a letter in the alphabet. So for example any AC can be your A, Battlefield for B, Code Vein for C etc. And you can set the rules as you like. For example, non of the games can be shuffleware, challenge has to be finished within 60 days, can't use a guide etc.
Again, don't know if this is something you would like, but I thought, lets throw it out there.

I highly recommend it, its tons of fun! and that does sound like an interesting challenge.. Dont know if I could even think of that many games tbh lol! I can think of a bunch but I already have the platinums, like I got most Battlefield plats, D- Days gone.. got it.. G - Ghost of tsushima, got it! Would be tough tho!
My focus during the legendary ship battles is to get a few of the smaller ships knocked out and ready to board so that you can go and repair your ship mid-battle when your health is low. Usually works pretty well that way in my experience.
i usually stayed slightly behind and to the right of the legendary ships and we would circle eachother trading mortar shots and heavy shot at every possible interval . worked for me but i also went out of my way to fully upgrade my ship before taking them on
@@hellatubbies882yt I fully upgraded as well. But yeah, having some damaged ships ready to be boarded so that I can repair my ship in the middle of a big battle was always my winning formula. Otherwise I just blast them with mortars from a good distance away and try to outrun their own shots.
Seeing his reaction to the first legendary ship made me feel so bad for future him taking on the storm fortress

You can actually get through the legendary battles using cheats, use cheats and then quit to animus and then it is saved
I found the legendary battle ships really easy.. on black flag was a little bit of pain in my ass

YESSS, Rouge's exploration and side quest are superb! You also get to experience a lot of terrain, from city, to mountain, to forest, to sea, to tundra, to artic, and many more. My fav AC game 🎉
What about Assassin’s Creed chronicles China, Russia & India all 3 doesn’t have a platinum but ASSASSIN'S CREED CHRONICLES: TRILOGY PACK does
I was unaware that the "pack" had a platinum.. so yes Ill be adding it to the list.. not in a rush to do it as side scrollers arent really my thing but ill be for sure give it a go! :)

the plot was cool , shay was cool , the ending twist was breathtalking , i don't mind it to be black flag 2.0 , even the present day was cool , side quest, locations , soundtracks were awesome

everything about it was amazing, the way it linked up with AC3, Black Flag, Freedom Cry, Unity was just insane to me! I loved! and yeah Odyssey and Valhalla are TRASH!
I really enjoy watching your AC Platinum series and if you're looking for any new game is to make a series about I highly recommend the Watch Dogs series that includes Watch_Dogs Watch_Dogs 2 and Watch Dogs Legion though Watch Dogs Legion it's better experienced with the season pass since you get the Assassin's Creed character the main protagonist from the first game a side protagonist from the second game and a character with telepathy as well as the bloodlines DLC story prequel but yeah I can't recommend this series enough
already done all 3 watch dogs.. and I absolutely LOVED Watch Dogs 1 & 2.. but I hated Legion, thought it was awful!

Update: I have just this second completed God Of War Ragnarok at 3:03am after 39 hours. Website told me it would take 45 hours I’m very pleased with my time

And Shay's outfit is great as well, which unfortunately meant I dressed Arno in it while playing Unity...

Rogue took the winning formula and mechanics of a naval AC game that was set up in Black Flag and totally perfected everything about it. Its gameplay truly is like a completely polished version of Black Flag. Had it not been released at the same time as Unity, I think Rogue would be placed right up there with Black Flag in terms of popularity. I just finished the Rogue last night and I believe it is basically the perfect formula for an old school AC game. It was just a ton of fun and a great new take on the series.
I saved Storm Fortress for the last trophy. Best decision.

Rogue is definitely one of the better AC games! I also never got to play it til recently, and it just made me miss the more traditional AC gameplay even more.
yeah games like Odyssey & Valhalla make me miss the old gameplay even more, and the old story telling was so much better!

That's awesome dude! 5 days is a decent time for this tbh, some of the stuff like the 65 challenges could take longer than you think if you dont do many during the story!
I'm kind of saddened that, since they began including trophies, I've only platinumed two games- AC2 & Spyro 1 of the reignited trilogy. I had once planned to make a concerted effort with the AC games & was pretty confident after getting AC2, but you have all the multi-player stuff, which I can't do anymore, along with a few other online connectivity issues for Black Flag, missions get much harder to 100% sync after they started adding multiple constraints in Revelations &, sometimes corners were cut on programming for stuff outside the main stories that they must have thought barely anyone would bother with, anyway, so they can sometimes be rampant with glitches. I managed to unlock everything in Brotherhood & 100% the constraints on all the main game missions, only to realize that the dlc trophies were glitched & the game wouldn't give them to me. Then I gave up & tried Revelations, got most of it done, but too many things were too difficult for me, so I skipped to AC3 & found out that I can't even figure out half of what the game wants me to do to get some of the trophies & just gave up. I did go back recently to find that installing a new hard drive on my PS3 & transferring over the contents of the old one fixed the issue with Brotherhood's DLC trophies, so I went back through & got a few of those done, as well as finished 100% sync on the 3 DaVinci Disappearance missions I had left, only to realize that, for the 100% sync trophy, I also had to get the War machines missions (one of which is damned near impossible, for me & beyond irritating to even attempt, because the constraints only applies to the last 5 minutes & failure means doing the entire mission over again) & the Thief & Courtesan Missions, which I didn't even know was a thing, until last night, so...
Rogue is one of my favorite of the bunch. Loosing only to AC 2. Shay is probably the best protagonist they've ever put out. The way he queations it the way of the assassins and all the diatruction arround him. You feel the weight and dissapointment in hir voice. I love this game a lot!❤

Yeah I feel like Shay had a lot more guilt, and a lot more on his shoulders than any other templar.. and he clearly felt he had more control as a templar instead of with the assassins who are always on the defence

Personally, the start of this video is why I always want people to try a game before they bash it. Because with my friend group, when I got into AC everyone said to skip Rogue and go straight to Unity/Syndicate because they didn't play it and assumed Shay was gonna be a Templar from the start and that it'd basically just be Haytham's segment of 3 all over again.
I'm so glad I didn't skip Rogue.
It came out when unity came out played it loved the story it was fire not many games are like tht fr anymore sadly

If nothing else...Achilles' brotherhood honestly deserved it.
I mean sure Shay could probably do better on the communication side of things, but it's clear they've had zero respect for the guy for pretty much his entire time as one of their recruits. And after he left they were practically terrorists.
EDIT: I do like the mission of his betrayal ends by falling off a cliff and landing hard. Leap of faith doesn't work without the faith. The first and last mission objectives of the game as well (other than the Paris glitches) are both to kill Liam as well.
woah.. bold statement, I think Achilles alone didnt deserve it but the rest of his brotherhood did, none of them respected Shay and it took Shay nearly destroying them for Achilles to finally admit he was right and still Liam tried to argue "what does he know".
It really is a great story, and I didnt think about that leap of faith thing either tbh.. the more you look into the story the more you realise its probably the best written story of the lot
The reason haytham doesn't mention him in Assassin's Creed 3 is because in that game he wasn't even part of the order before you're playing asthan or when you're playing as haytham and also he had gone somewhere else by the time you're playing as Connor and meeting whats his face haytham
You should give us a ranking list for the AC games. One for the actual game/story, and another list for how fun the platinum is

I don't think ubisoft can beat ezio honestly, he was just a fantastic character to play as. I got the plat for AC 2 and brotherhood and thoroughly enjoyed it (apart from the feathers) 😂

I thought rogue was great. I wish they went a bit heavier on the “templar” gimmick. The stalkers were cool but annoying, wish there were flat out assassin enemies just roaming around

yeah the connection between the others was amazing! You could really feel what Shay's goals where.. he wanted the best possible outcome, and you could tell he knew the templars where the right choice! Amazing story telling

Also, if you wanna try the three interesting AC games, I'd recommend AC Chronicles: China, India, Russia! If you wanna play a great expansion, the JtR DLC is amazing.

I think I commented last time saying I was going back to this soon. I did pick up the other day, which DOES also have a platinum - Assassins Creed Chronicles Trilogy. I have no idea what it’s like except is some Vita games. After some research, if you buy each game separately then they don’t have plats, but the trilogy pack has one combined platinum. Currently working on and almost finished Saints Row.

Played them all but rogue until recently simply for stubbornness, not wanting to play as a templar but Shay is a great main character and it just feeels like black flag/IV but with another guy. Great game especially if you're an older AC fan.

Have to to The dlc aswell, makes some trophies a bit easier but some new fun ones gets added.
Rogue has the best ending of all assassin's Creed games in my opinion. It ties up like 3 games together in an awesome way. I got goosebumps watching that ending again.

After I played rogue I found out there are no good guys between assassins and templars
TRUEEEEEEEEEEE! Both sides seem pretty bad and make a lot of mistakes, its really put the assassins in a new light. It really feels like neither of them want the best for mankind, except for a few people like Desmond

Also if you would want to complete like an rpg kind of game I would recommend skyrim or even fallout 4 (unless you already platinumed them), keep the good content coming, I always enjoyed whenever you uploaded cause it gives me games that I can try to platinum, cause im going down the platinum path (currently on 30 plats and trying to get at least 100).
Points for Valhalla.. prepared to be bored, the gameplay is very repetitive and the map is way too big.. but its not unplayable, the game works well enough.. but the world is way too big for a AC game. But unless you plan on doing all ACs I dont recommend doing it, I'd say literally all other ACs are better! hope this helps!

Well I also miss 3 platinum trophies of Assassins Creed.
The first is obvious AC 1 since you would need to have a PS3 and since I don't own one I don't have the trophy. But I have all popint on 360 :D
Second would be all multiplayer trophies of AC4 Black Flag
Third would be the Koop missions in Unity
and 4th is Syndicate... I don't know hat it is about that game because the setting is great but I never got further than the 3 mission. And after getting a PS5 and selling my PS4 I couldn't play Syndicate anymore without getting an seizure thanks to a grafical bug.

That opening, wow, you've endured some shite! It's quite the endurance test. For me, AC Black Flag was the end of the series, they've been way too bloated since then.

play Cyberpunk 2077 before the DLC comes out. I did everything you can possibly do and unlocked everything and loved every minute of it
I recommend Friday the 13th the game it is a long platinum 100-200 hours but its good if you like horror and it’s getting a server shutdown next year
I have a question, Im currently playing ac rogue and tryna upgrade the morrigon. I have lots of materials but no more than 10k in the game. Any idea how to get lots of money in the game?
Rogue is definitely the weakest of the series for me and it all comes down to how they had to completely mischaracterize known characters to even pretend like it should make sense. The assassins have never acted in such a childishly stupid way.
The only thing that I didn't like is that you can't give your ship extra deck, you begin with a brig, then it would be cool to play with a fregate and then a man o war.
Im Irish and Shay’s accent bugged me so much😂 other than that, this game is class.
