My favorite thing about this show is I'm old enough to remember the reported numbers of people at it... and then followed the evergrowing reporting on that number over 3 decades. 600,000. Then 1 million. Then 1.6 million (so, they just added the first two). And recently, 2 million! And by 2090 it will probably be up to 12 trillion.
I think it was on an airport because it was the only place suitable for such amount of people. Right after the Soviet Union collapsed it was something special to have a famous American metal band performing in their country, same like my country too. My dad told me he really regrets one thing. As a Queen fan he never had an opportunity to attend live concert of them. Fredy Mercury died like 2 years after revolution.

I like a few songs on St. Anger... Sweet Amber is nice. Unnamed Feeling is one of my favorites.
