I've known my tattoo artist since I was very young and trust him to the ends of the earth. He loves working on me as I've never twitched, flinched or even made a sound. I have Ehlers Danlos syndrome so the pain of having a tattoo done is nothing compared to having your joints dislocate at least 20 times a day. I've also had both legs straightened so have 6 inch scars on both hips. I got fed up with people staring or making comments when I went swimming so had Jerry Mouse with black wings/halo on my left hip by the scar and a heart with my and my daughter's star sign by the scar on my right hip.
I’m usually a suffer in silence type. Only when they hit a really bad spot do I sometimes wince, but generally I can sit pretty well. One exception was the top of my left foot. Definitely made some faces with that one lol
