    I am sure, onions have been overfried and have got bitter. And they are still being fried. That too with chicken which does not take long time to cook.

      No bro. We do the same in odisha here. You have to fry the onion until it releases all the water. For this reason the onion totally melt in the gravy and you can't find any onion chunks in it.

    Nice recipe but he added way too much mustard oil in the beginning. If it's me I'm only adding 1/2 a cup or less

      Ota Sahi garam masala baniyechen uni. Those are the ingredients also found in Sunrise Shahi Garam masala. I also use.

    Chéf you did mostly correct, but you missed to put a bit of sugar in oil before spices (for colour and to balance the taste).

    Bengali chicken jhol is very simple in nature. We don't use so many spices as being shown in here.

    I can have murghi jhol and baath (rice) everyday. I am not sure about the use of yogurt and tomato. Bangladeshi don’t use those ingredients for jhol.

      I used to use yoghurt but later found that tomato is better. Also once cooked if stored for next meal them Yoghurt changes the taste a little bit & also makes it thicker.

      Without Aaloo it's not Bengali mutton, chicken or fish curry. The Aaloo adds taste to the curry. Enjoy with rice and salad.😋😋😋

    The purpose of sugar in bengali chicken curry is color, not the taste as how u used here and shown it wrongly.

    Jaifal poora ek piece daal diya , iski sifat maloom hai bhi . Who made u the chef. Quarter jaifal ka bhi choota sa peice gravy ko kadwa kr dega , isme to poora system hila dega agar koi itna sara jaifal khayega to. Worst.
