I stopped eating chicken because of the raw smell which use to be there even after cooking. Looking at this video, I got tempted and thought of giving it a try once again. Today, I cooked the murgir jhol following the instructions mentioned in your recipe. I just loved it. Oi murgir mangshor jholer shaad aabar phire ashlo mukhe. Whatever ingredient you put first in the oil will dominate the dish's smell. So if like the ginger garlic flavour more then you could do it this way. And we generally fry onion first as it takes more time to cook than ginger garlic.

But its a request to check the grading of the plastic used which you will find below the bottle inside a triangle. Only grade 1 & 5 should be used for food.. 5 being the Tupperware quality.
This cooking technique is used a lot in Maharashtra as well, and the bright red, spicy oil that rises to the top of the curry is called "Tarri" (with all the rrrrr's that you can add while pronouncing!!)

Bengalis' obsession for potatoes is as interesting as south indians' obsession with coconuts :)

We do have coconut in some of our most celebrated recipes such as coconut-prawn curry (chingri malaicurry), puli pithe (a dessert made of rice batter and coconut) and more
and to think that potatoes only came in with the Potruguese shows that its a very recent development into our Indian cuisine.

@@yellowdaimond1 I don't think I'll ever be able to
I came as soon as I got the notification. You guys are great cooks
Till this day I used to make it onion first then spice paste.... does it make any difference if I do the other way!??
Same question
I also do onions first.
Whatever ingredient you put first in the oil will dominate the dish's smell. So if like the ginger garlic flavour more then you could do it this way. And we generally fry onion first as it takes more time to cook than ginger garlic.
Seriously beautiful cooking. All your recipes are amazing. The best Indian food on RUclips!

ধন্যবাদ এত দারুণ একটা রেসিপির জন্য।সেদিন রেঁধেছিলাম আর ভীষণ প্রসংশা পেয়েছি।

Gonna try it soon.. Yayy! @bongeats a request.. I know it might be convenient to use that dish soap bottle for oil dispensing.. But its a request to check the grading of the plastic used which you will find below the bottle inside a triangle. Only grade 1 & 5 should be used for food.. 5 being the Tupperware quality.
Wow
😍 this purely melts my heart

I just tried it, its out of the world 😍😍😍, thank you
The belly is an ungrateful wretch, it never remembers past favors, it always wants more tomorrow.
It’s not ungrateful... it’s just hungry if you don’t eat for a day. Relax
This cooking technique is used a lot in Maharashtra as well, and the bright red, spicy oil that rises to the top of the curry is called "Tarri" (with all the rrrrr's that you can add while pronouncing!!)
Wishing you a very Happy Eid al-Adha . Cherish every moment of this beautiful festival and may all your dreams come true soon. Here's wishing you and your family peace, harmony, happiness, good health and prosperity on the auspicious occasion of Eid. Eid al-Adha Mubarak to you and everyone at home.
