Thank you 😊 I always try to have a balance between go to the point and at the same time trying to explain things where everyone can understand it perfectly or easy to know HOW things works.
Hi, I have trouble with drawing lines stage, i've change to edit mode and delete vertices then draw but the light trail isn't appear like yours. Can you recommend some tips to fix? Thanks in advance
Hey, I don't know if blender changed the options in the new version (4.2.3) but mine is looking completely different. I don't have the blend mode or the shadow setting... Maybe they moved it, but I cannot find it… I have redone the steps multiple times, but it's always looking the same... Also, I noticed I don't have the Node Wrangler as well, nor the option gradient texture. I cannot even find it in the search bar. Maybe someone can help me! :)
i found the blend mode! In Blender 4.2.3 LTS, the "Alpha Blend" option is found in the Material Properties panel, not directly in the Shader Editor. Here's how to access it: 1. Select the object you want to apply the material to. 2. Go to the **Material Properties** tab (the sphere icon) in the Properties panel. 3. Scroll down to the **Settings** section. 4. Look for the **Blend Mode** dropdown menu. 5. Change the Blend Mode to **Alpha Blend**. Make sure your material is set up for transparency by using the appropriate nodes in the Shader Editor, like the Principled BSDF with an alpha input connected to a suitable transparency node.
The tutorial was recorded in Blender 4.1. Some options about Blending modes changed on Blender 4.2. That's why. But don't worry, the technique still works :)
