TUTORIAL | Ghostbusters Afterlife Ghost Trail Effect

In this tutorial, Aharon Rabinowitz shows you how to create the ghost trails effect seen in the trailer for Ghostbusters Afterlife.
Here's the expression used in the tutorial for linking a 2D lens flare to a 3D null, if you need it:

Hey can you please make a tutorial that how to paint out someone in moving shot in after effects although hashi created a tut about this but his camera wasn't moving back and forth it was like panning so can you please do it with camera moving back and forth

you dont really need the vc vibrance, just change screen to add then you got the highlight :)

I can't seem to see those intricate curve controls when I animate the camera on my after effects viewer, does anyone know how I can turn those on? My animation is super jagged at the moment.

If I use the sprite Mov the way you make in this tutorial I have a black background, not an alpha: how could I see it without loosing quality?
