After my 'The Cranberries - Zombie' video I've received a lot of requests to play this Metallica song - Nothing Else Matters! I think it sounds really nice on this instrument ^__^ It was a pleasure to arrange this heavy metal ballad, haha 🔥❤️

более волшебного звучания я не слышал. даже на арфе не так сказочно звучит эта мелодия. а за всей этой красотой стоит работа по адаптации мелодии к калимбе. прекрасная работа.

Ive listened to metallica since I was a kid, and have these lyrics tattooed on my chest. This is by far the nicest cover I've heard of the song!
Give a listen to “Gamazda”. She does a a quit a few Metallica piano covers. Her version of nothing else matters is the best cover I’ve ever heard. Checker her out

@@СергейСафонов-щ6кdas ist eine kalimba. Es wurde aus einem afrikanischen Instrument (mbira) entwickelt. Ich schreibe Dir aus Walsrode in Deutschland. Hier gibt es eine Werkstatt die Kalimbas baut. Sie heißen HOKEMA. Er hat Musik studiert. Zuerst hatte ich eine Kalimba aus Ostasien, dann erst fand ich, dass dieses Instrument in meinem eigenen Ort hergestellt wird, in guter Qualität und habe eine Kalimba und eine Sansula gekauft.

I was personally alone when this song came out in 91. The pain and deep emotions along with other songs on the Black Album even in the original rock format was powerful.
This was so beautifully done over a song i knew from when it came out strikes such a deeply personal chord with me.

I picked up a small 8 key one from the internet because I was curious as to what these things are and thought that my young son might play with it. I got addicted to it straight away. What an amazing little device that you can put in your pocket and take anywhere. I started to play twinkle twinkle little star just from what sounds right (gotta start somewhere lol) then I found all of these great tabs. I'm trying to learn "Here comes the sun" now and it sounds quite nice.

So brings back memories of playing those Rockabye Baby CDs for my children when they were little. I loved playing this on guitar and I really look forward to trying to play it once my kalimba arrives. 🤘
