Agreed!
Honestly the combination of Officer 1 and Officer 2 is outstanding. Officer 1 helped her understand the seriousness of the charges she faced, without allowing her to establish some false narrative around her innocence. The music has stopped and the jig is up! You’re in trouble lady!
Officer 2 acknowledged and appealed to her humanity. And you can bet that she was very receptive to what he was saying to her after getting scorched by the first officer!😂

This is what real policing looks like.
Bingo.
As a Californian, watching this makes me jealous as hell. We were so betrayed after we successfully passed prop 187 in the early ‘90s. We could have kept our state going by the rule of law too if we hadn’t been betrayed.
Officers can ban her from the city itself
Damn straight. What policing has become in a lot of places in America is an absolute joke. Watch videos from WI. All they do is coddle, coddle, and coddle some more. Then at the end of it, the judges dismiss all charges. Almost every single time. That’s why the parks in LaCrosse look like some 3rd world Hellscape.
Florida is amazing

Never heard of someone being banned from
So many places
@@jodiforeman3314imagine being banned from THE BUS. I didnt even know you could be banned from that unless you stab people on it or something lol
@@FaithG-tx2hwIn New York you can stab somebody on a bus and ride the same bus on your way home from jail the same day.
@@2200Stinger im sure thats not true and im sure you have no proof of a repeating trend of criminals doing deadly harm on a public vehicle then being allowed back on that vehicle.
@@FaithG-tx2hwI can’t tell if that is satire but there are literally countless examples. NYC deployed national guard members to the subway to do random bag searches because they let a guy go on bond after he got his 3rd charge of attempted murder. He was released. The next day pushed his GF in front of a train and she had both leg amputated. He went to jail and was released on bond a few days later.
Steals from multiple people but plays the victim.
"But it looked like my bag!"
All of them? All of the bags did?
These people can't even lie right.
I know they charged her with strong armed robbery but I think they should have added an assault charge.
You cant do both. Its called double jeopardy, you can't be charged twice for the same thing, and in Florida strong arm robbery is stealing from someone with the use of violence. So its a combination of theft and assault, and already merges the charges as well. So its not like they let her get away from it, its just a merged version of the charge.
@@Hevensdragon - Exactly... they could have broken it out into petty larceny and assault, and she'd probably walk free the same day. The combined charge raises the stakes to a felony where DA's and judges are far less likely to let you back out onto the streets.
New York and California should take note... THIS is how you handle criminals.
@@Hevensdragon Very well said!
@@HevensdragonYou are incorrect. You are conflating double jeopardy with overcharging and charge stacking. Double jeopardy means a person cannot be tried a second time for the same or similar offense, for the same act, after it is adjudicated. It does not relate to being charged one time with too many or duplicative charges. Yes, you are correct that some charges are discreet and some subsume other charges. In this case, it would be called overcharging if they got both strong-arm robbery and assault charges. But legal charge stacking happens all the time. For example, Darrell Brooks was convicted of six counts of intentional homicide, but he was also convicted of six counts of hit and run involving death. You might think the first six charges subsume the latter six, but you'd be arguing against charge stacking, nothing to do with double jeopardy.
@@Mr.Ekshin wouldn't be petty larceny, thier phones would be in their bags at the beach, probably tablets as well, the price tag on those would put her over the limit of petty larcen real quick.

Right?! Its just like a child who screams, "Owwww!" before another kid actually touches them 😂
All the criminals learned to use that line thanks to a certain somebody...
I like it when police say “my beach” “my parks” “my community.” That’s what we need more of, a sense of ownership by the police. Well done.
It is less about ownership and more about pride. We take pride when our beach is voted #1 in the state or country, and we don't want people from up north coming down and turning it into their snatch and grab playground.
Deputy Sheriff, not police.

I am glad that the officer did not mince words with this suspect for stealing the backpacks from the victims!
Finally an officer that doesn't engage with the bullshit but tells it to her straight
Cops being criticized for their actions doesn't help, because the criticism is usually exaggerated stuff and from people in the community that don't know the issues and are sometimes sympathetic to the criminals in their community. Or criminals themselves. Most Police are fine, do their job well and are not abusive. I support Law Enforcement. Of course I do NOT want abusive Officers, but they are still, by far, honest.
