LOL. Pricey? Yes they are. My personal approach to higher dollar tools is: If I don't know if I'm going to use it, I buy budget brands with decent quality. If I then find that I use it often, and the top end or next level up offers better features/consistency/safety/etc., then I may pull the trigger and sell the cheaper version. If I never use the cheaper version, I'm not going to feel so guilty, and at least I'll have it if I need it. Drills, Drivers, LEVELs, etc., I'm going to need these the rest of my life, why not splurge? As long as you take care of them, they'll be around forever (maybe not the batteries).
