Album Review: 10cc, The Original Soundtrack

In this new series of reviews, I look at 10cc's third album 'The Original Soundtrack' released in 1975. It featured the band's hit single 'I'm Not in Love'. The book mentioned in this review is 'Classic Album Covers of the 1970s' by Aubrey Powell.

This album continues the High Standard of Art Rock and Progressive Pop started by the previous album Sheet Music, but the bonus on this album is that on side one, track two, is one of the greatest Love Songs ever written. The rest of the album is still very good, the hilarious Second Sitting For The Last Supper, Une Nuit A Paris and Life is A Minestrone being the best of the rest.
