Some go out of their way to hurt and torment innocent animals. These 2 take a lifetime trying to help them and bring peace and contentment to their lives. I hope just some of you will find it in your heart to donate even $5 to this wonderful group to help their cause.
THIS. 10000% I, too, hope some of you will join in and donate to Bergen County Horse Rescue so they can continue rescuing precious horses. They ALL deserve to finally know what it feels like to be loved, what it feels like to feel safe and secure in their surroundings, to know that the humans in their lives now WILL NEVER, EVER hurt them like the scumbag humans that most of them were forced to endure in the past, what it feels like to have a clean, comfortable bed to sleep in every night, what it feels like to have fresh, clean water to drink whenever they want, what it feels like to know they'll never have to go to bed hungry again, and what it feels like to have excellent medical care - like the care they get from Dr. Doug - so they can live out the rest of their lives feeling happy and healthy. Every single horse deserves that kind of life, and any donation will help make that a reality for more of these magnificent animals.
Spartan is as beautiful as he is smart. I am glad that he has a loving home at Bergen County. Lots of loud cracks and I hope he feels so much better! Thanks Doc!
Does anyone else yell ...SPARTAN..in their head? Or just me?.😂 Anyway, Spartan is beautiful he was so good for Dr Doug. Thank you for always taking time out of your day for them, Dr Doug ❤️
Spartan's a good boy. Learnin' to trust once again, being rewarded with feeling "more gooder" afterwards. Love it when a hungry animal starts getting the groceries poured in. Hopefully no food aggression develops. I've seen one rescue who was really skinny at first become very dominant of food, to the point of biting and kicking the other in his little herd. And all of them were fed well with good feed, supplements, and treats. He just developed a poor attitude from the starvation he suffered prior to rescue.
The Spartan is back. And incidentally, he needed some work done on it. His back. I'm talking about his back. So glad to see this guy once again. And, as always, thank you Dr. Doug, the rescuers, the volunteers and the production crew for helping horseys, for filming and for sharing these moments with us. I really apprecitate it.
Ahh lovely Spartan again. Such a patient horse. I think he remembers you and the good therapy you did last time! lol Again, nice job Dr. Doug and everyone.
Thank you for your great feedback! I‘ll try to do more! But I can‘t guarantee. I have my practice in NYC with human patients and small animals, they need me too!
Beautiful Spartan, great to see a follow up with him. The way he looked and moved his head towards the Doc after the adjustment. Some great looking new merch in the shop too.
Dr Willen, it’s nice 👍 to see Spartan back. That pole and the rib adjustments were really awesome 👏. I hope the saddle won’t give him a problem anymore. Thank you 🙏 for helping him out, the ending was beautiful, have a nice week doc.
Jersey and Spartan are both wonderful horses. You can almost read their minds... Thank you, Dr. Doug. I love BCHR, for all kinds of reasons, but Erin's expressiveness in the various sessions--at the 'cracks' and releases--is definitely one of them! ... 😯 and Oh! Oh! .... 😂
Spartan is just really cool horse! He seems like at the end that he’s looking at you like OK man, it’s all good! And it was kind of neat the way he looked to you when you moved away, he knows you were helping him. I so wish I had a place for a horse or two! Thank you for sharing your videos, and thank you for helping all of the animals that you help. ❤😊❤
Oh Spartan, you are absolutely magical. So beautiful, so regal, and so so sweet. Doc, thank you for helping him to feel better after he endured God only knows what kind of physical and emotional abuse before he made his way to the sanctuary. Sending Spartan nothing but love and healing vibes.
Spartan is such a beautiful and smart man! It’s so sad to think he was that uncomfortable that he was bucking to get away from the saddle. I hope that spine and rib adjustment helps with him being able to be feel more comfortable 🥲 thanks Dr Doug!
Somehow, the expression people use when they found The One, their love- "He's my person." Well Mr Willen, Spartan is your horse, I would say. And You, his person. The connection between u2 is unmistakable.
Beautiful to know this horse got rescued. I'm so appalled that anyone could just abandon a horse or send them to a "meat auction!" How appalling. I've had horses since I was 13 with my first job. They're my everything. At this point in my life, I volunteer at a horse rescue sanctuary.
Hey, love your videos as I'm also pursuing veterinary chiropractic! I'm in my undergrad right now majoring in animal science and I'm debating on if I want to continue with an equine science certificate or just take the few classes that involve handling horses since I haven't been around any until I started my schooling 😅
Dr Cracker. .I'M BEIGN A STICKY BEEK HERE, BUT WHAT'S THE HORSIE ON YOUR ARM...WHATS HER/HIS STORY PLEASE DARLING MAN...BLESSINGS DARLINGS FROM GRANNY LINDA......
In humans, trauma is stored in the psoas muscle (the body keeps the score). I’m wondering if that is the same with horses? She said a lot of their rescue horses have sensitive psoas muscles. ❤️🫏

I love this horse's attitude. He could kick you into next week but he just goes with it.
What a beautiful boy
Yes he could, but he didn’t, and I didn’t give him any reasons to do so.😅👍🏼
Spartan is stunning and he did so well. Bless you all for helping these precious angels
Yes he really is stunning!
Spartan’s little ears perking up made my heart melt. ❤

HAHAHA!
Thanks for helping Spartan. It seems like I have seen a lot of horses with issues because of badly fitted saddles.
It is often the reason of back pain! Unfortunately! Not so easy to find good saddlers!

Not every hero wear a cape, really great that they are giving a second chance for animals who were on the road to death

This man has to work-out to do his job🎉
Yes indeed! And I do workout to be able to do workout at work! Hahaha!
Can Spartan take a saddle without pain after the cracking treatment?
