As a retired chiropractor, I just love this. I used to adjust my cats and dogs. So many of my patients used to bring their dogs and cats for adjustments.
Jersey. The poor guy... Amazing session though as always. I hope that with your help he will feel better. My respect to all the volunteers and horse rescuers. Thank you for doing what you do and for sharing. And btw special thanks to the camera and / or sound people, editors etc that are so seldom mentioned and apprecieted - for making these videos possible.
Jersey knows - as all of your animal-clients - why you came along and what you are there for. They sense your experiance by your voice and your art of touching them... and feel safe - even if it may hurt. The fiew remaining ''runaway''-reactions for me are the same, as when I go to the dentist: Despite I am close to 60 and the dentist is a friend of mine..., I feel as uncomfortable as a child once, when ''the'' sound 'brrrrr' is back :) Love from here to all of you ! Thank you Dr. Doug !
Congrats Doc on 500k so well deserved with everything that’s gone into this channel, and Jersey, for being awesome & funny. Nice to catch everyone live, always. It’s a great kind hearted community.
Sorry, i missed the live. I'm Re-watching now. As always, beautiful horse. I would love for Dr Doug to adjust a sloth i feel like they really need help. 😅 I'm hoping to see Dr Doug on the news at the zoo soon making those animals feel better. He deserves it. Thank you for all the volunteer work you do. ❤
All I can say to all of you is thank you and as just one human I acknowledge the importance of what you are doing. Come on humans let us do better…❤️🌧️🌤️☀️🌈
At least Jersey didn't leave and open a stall door like the last time you worked on him, Doc!! LOL 🤣 I love Standardbreds. They can be so gentle if in the right hands. I'm glad he's where he is and getting the love he deserves in his old age. All the tender, loving, care. Love your friend, the Retired Paramedic and Horse Trainer in Ontario, Canada, Jenn 💖 🇨🇦
@AnimalCrackerDrDougWillen Thought that was Jersey, oh well, was still a great adjusment for him!! I hope you have a safe Memorial Day weekend, Doc!! Your friend, the Retired Paramedic and Horse Trainer in Ontario, Canada, Jenn 💖
Jersey seems pretty chill…. He enjoyed the whole thing!! You crack me up every time you do the dog impression!! 😂😂. Take care, thanks for helping out Jersey!!😊❤
Thank you Doc Willen for your care of this beautiful horse. I agree with your message: the positive is Jersey was rescued and is now cared for and loved. The Bergen Rescue group is wonderful ❤️🥰
Love his personality! He seems to have a bit of sass, cause I see him give you a sour face at each crack then he relaxes. Like it takes a sec to feel the relief
Jersey is such a special horse - he's gorgeous and looking into his eyes you can just see his beautiful soul. I honestly hate the way the Amish treat their horses. It's beyond cruel - it's like they look at them as machinery to be tossed aside when they no longer work. Thank God for Dr. Doug! You do such wonderful work for these animals, Doc. You're a blessing!
Such a sweet horse, great job with the adjustment that horse seems very sweet and I’m sure appreciated how gentle your technique was, they are such loyal and kind creatures, keep up the good work
Dr Willen, it was nice 👍 to see Jersey back. Your demonstrations are always on point 👌, as well as your explanations. He kept moving at the end when you’ve tried to adjust his L6, made you work out 💪. You were awesome 👏 with him, I’m sure he’s got the relief and feels better. Congratulations 🎉🎊 on 500K, wishing you many more to come, Happy Memorial Day and have a nice 👍 week doc.

Jersey's lovely ! He so deserves the adjustments that you have given him after the life that he was dealt with . Great video Dr Doug . Congratulations of getting past 500K you work so hard for it .
I noticed that Jersey is glad to see you. He knows you are there to make him feel better. When you adjusted his neck he tried the area you adjusted out.
We adore Jersey🤗❤️🐴 Wow Dr. Doug, so many cracks on Jersey I'm sure he slept well that night! I love the way you talk to him about what you are going to do and need him to do. For you to volunteer there for these beautiful rescue horses is amazing, thank you ❤️🤗🐴
G'day Jersey 🙂 Another round with young Douglas whom really knows his business as I'm sure your well aware now 😁 No races for you , but I suppose a run around around the yard couldn't hurt 🏇 Very well done as always Douglas 🙂
Where have you been mark? We were waiting for you at the premiere! Hope you are well! I’m travelling a bit around and spend a little time in France. I missed you here tonight my friend.
@@niczuleger5287 Hey Nicky 🙂 Sometimes life gets in the way and this was one of those times ...I'm doing o.k Nicky and hopefully you are too 🙂 Traveling around again or still ? I guess no one wants to sit still for too long ...Good to hear from you and take good care of yourself .
Thank you Dr Cracker, Jersey looks better after you fixed him..... I saw a made bird nesting box with eggs and a new born baby bird....no idea what it means but it was a sign from Mother Gia to you.... Blessings darling boy from Granny Linda in OZ......
It's sad that so many working animals are seen as tools or something to make money from, no form of care or kindness. Animals deserve so much better, that's why it's incredible to see the work that you do with all of the humans and animals, especially those rescued ones. You give 100% effort to every patient, and seeing their improvements and reactions with you is such a pleasure! With every video there's so much to learn. Thankyou, always for your immense compassion towards so many 💖.
We gotta save the Jersey’s!!… he worked hard his whole life it’s nice to see someone see him into retirement 🙏 Great job doc love what you do FANTASTIC!!
Dr. Doug you’re so smart. The nervous system works both ways so by sticking your finger in his mouth to stimulate the lick and chew response the nervous system gets a signal saying “hey lick and chew goes with parasympathetic mode” and you help it shift that direction (or in this case reinforce a shift already in process). Reverse engineering of sorts. Much respect.❤
Kill pens should be outlawed and the people running them should be in jail for animal abuse. Poor babies are so innocent and don't deserve that kind of ending. Thanks for all the good people helping to save these beautiful animals. Love you guys with all my heart..
Yeah, I could see that Jersey is an expert in receiving adjustments. 🥰 Trying to trick you and make you jump up and down on your brown thing..... 😂🙈 Oh btw. Remember doing that chewing mimic to your grandchild coming soon. You gonna be the star in the nursery 😂😂😁😁😍
We had a person named Ken butler who worked with horses and other animals just like you and he use to travel to America to learn more about the treatments to help the animals in need and ken butler had helped my horse as all his joints and muscles was all out and it took ken butler all day to help my horse who was abuse before i got him and he was a standard bred that was to slow to race and they took him to the race track and a jockey got on him and used spurs on him from shoulder to his flank was open wounds on him and in the end he got his front leg court in the fence and had nilly cripple him self and he had to much antibiotics for his cuts on his leg that it sent him crazy and he nilly killed me and i had to send him back and he was in the paddock and a redbelly black snake bit him and he passed away from that bite as a three year old and if they did not hurt my horse he would be still with me and i loved him very much as his movement was unbelievable smooth and his trot was like you was on the air and he was very fast at the barrel racing and if i was better at riding at that time he would of been here still
Does this work on sheep with gimpy legs? A sheep farmer called Sandi Bauke has some old sheep who could probably use this type of treatment done to them.
I'm surprised you don't use your elbows more when working on horses to save strain on your hands. As a massage therapist for humans I use my elbows and forearms as well as my hands, though of course I use my hands to palpitate.
Love Jersey. Thank you for rescuing him. You’re the best Dr. Doug
