"Brendon, why don't you just do your homework?" "Why, because I try never to take my work home with me." "But it's called 'homework'." "It's a life quality issue, Melissa." Great exchange!!
Yes!!! " Please put your hands together for Mr.Pants!!!!!" Man, Mr.Pants is my jam, back then and now😂😂😂😂😂 And the "manipulation" song!!! This is one of the best episodes to me...
this might be my favorite home movies episode. the hot dog factory montage (especially with the music) is beyond amazing. also, george washington responding to "rocks!" sounds like the monarch.
Every time I watch "Home Movies" I realize how Brendan and me as a child are incredibly similar. Especially with the directing/writing home movies and the never ever doing homework. Wow. I also had a friend who was like Jason because he was sick all the time and my best pal. I love this show so much; it really hits home with me.
" did they ask u anything about sam adams? I know about him, he was a brewer n a patriot, i know what he looks like, its one the lable....funny hair" HAHAHAHA the coach is something else
Mellisa: "Brendan why don't you just do your homework?" Brendan: "I try not to ever take my work home with me." Mellisa: "But its called *home* work." Brendan: "...Its a life-quality issue, Mellisa." LOVE that line!!!! One of my favorites.
I think Dwayne and Brendon use each other throughout the series to satisfy their needs to create. In many episodes they aren't really presented as that great of friends, but it seems as if Dwayne uses Brendon's movies to make more music, and Brendon uses Dwayne's music to make more movies.
The writing for this show is nothing short of brilliant genius!!! It's simply an amazing show. I wish they'd bring it back with some new episodes... I'm sure brendon small has plenty of ideas in that genius brain of his.. heheh.
"The question was, who wrote Hamlet? You wrote, the Pope's cousin, Count Popeula, a magical monster with pencils for arms." "I'll be honest, Mr. Lynch... I made that one up." So. Fucking. Good.
'That's-Mom, that's a different conversation entirely.' 'You could use a little of that energy to get tutored?' 'Yeah, you're jus-we're just talking in circles'
Listen I know this is a comedy cartoon from the early 2000s and shouldn't be taken seriously, but I relate heavily to Brendon's school experiences, like a lot. The sheer lack of good explanation for all authority figures is disturbingly familiar to me.
@ben23232 lol yea. i suppose you wouldnt know the song that comes on while theyre at the hotdog factory do u? it sounds brasilian possibly bassa nova they use it in other episodes i think.

Great exchange!!
This has to be one of Brendon's most ambitious projects.
"I'll be honest Mr. Lynch, I made that one up." Kills me every time.
Yes!!!

Mulplicatations...Lmfao. I love Junior. "I have no idea I let myself slip like dat.."
i love how when duane plays his music, he's a totally different person.
" did they ask u anything about sam adams? I know about him, he was a brewer n a patriot, i know what he looks like, its one the lable....funny hair" HAHAHAHA the coach is something else
I forgot about the epic Mr. Pants song! The music in these shows was always excellent.

Listen I know this is a comedy cartoon from the early 2000s and shouldn't be taken seriously, but I relate heavily to Brendon's school experiences, like a lot. The sheer lack of good explanation for all authority figures is disturbingly familiar to me.
