Sold my 695 two years ago. Hardly a day goes by when I don’t regret the decision. Utterly bonkers cars, sabelt seats so impractical but oh so cool. (I had a permanent bruise on the back of my upper right arm caused by the wings…🤣). The Abarth community is fantastic, so many happy memories. Must stop writing, off to Autotrader for a look 😱. Thanks for a great video.

I had four of them and loved them all, I always said we'd get one of the last of cars, but life has got in the way and its not going to happen, sadly.
The most fun cars I ever had and the world seems intent with killing off any driving fun, so thanks for that, Abarth
Sad to see them finish, it was a great community to be a part of.
Brings a smile to my face every time I see one
Nice review, again, Tish, your enthusiasm for Abarth was one of the things that made me subscribe, you have really come on and one of the few reviewers that I take any notice of, well done

There is one in my local ford dealership that came in as a part ex. I dont think its the 75th edition, but it is a gold special edition, one of only 50 made. Its lovely. I think they have recently reduced it to £14,995. Its black with gold wheels and accents with a gold plaque inside that says which number of the 50 it is.

I was thinking about upgrading my Fiat 500 to an Abarth and then came across your video. I thought that your review was excellent, covered good points and bad and long story short, as of yesterday morning, I am now the proud owner of one! I love it. Thank you for helping me make the decision and being honest and fair about the bundle of fun with the gold wheels and the roof dwelling scorpion.

Thank you for a great review, Tish. This is the first one I've seen for this last petrol version 😢. Never owned an Abarth, but they always put a smile on my face whenever I see one. My favourites are the ones with the Abarth stripe down the side and the rally style wheels. That noise when you turn the ignition on is just 🫶. What a fun car that puts a big smile on your face. I'd love to own one, but at the moment I have to have a more practical car. Hopefully, in the not too distant future I'll be able to own a second-hand I.C.E one🤞

My wife recently decided now she is state pension age to 'go for broke' and trade her cooking 500 for an Abarth. She is no stranger to performance cars as over the years we have owned a lot of fast cars -Z3 2.8, Mercedes 300ce etc. Well of course we then learnt that new ones were no longer available apart from the car you drove here. She didn't want black and certanly didn't want the sabelt seats. Fortunately We came across a used 695 Turismo in white with a black roof at a garage 35 miles from home. It is fully loaded and most importantly is probably one of the very last cars to be registered new as it was built at the end of November 2023 and registered on 28th January 2024. I think it is quite unususal for a Turismo as it has the stacked Monza exhausts which I think were only fitted on the very late model year cars. She absolutely loves it and the grandkids love the noise of the Monza exhaust!

For almost four years i have owned and loved my 595 scorpioneoro and would love to buy a new Abarth, trouble is this 695 75th anniversary model is almost identical to my car, maybe i`ll wait a bit longer in the hope that Abarth do make an ICE version of the new shape 500e...

With that colour scheme it looks like a mini Smokey and the bandit Trans Am.😄 one past me the other day great sounding little cars. There will be no more of that then. And another car stroked of my list if theres no I.C.E version. They will become vollectors items i'm sure but the one to go for would be the ones Ferari dealers had as a sort of courtesy car. Very limited editions. Great review Tish.

I miss my Abarth 595 comp (as on my profile picture). They are brilliant cars for the price, and its 0-60 is 6.8 not 7.8. A few mods make these really capable and I miss the community as well. "Sad noises".

75 years of Abarth not FIAT. We have one in my local Abarth owners club and it is a lovely car. I just wish the gold piston badge on the rear quarters was made out of metal. p.s. I have a feeling this will not be the last petrol Abarth, they are making an I.C.E. new shape FIAT 500, so I think they will eventually be an Abarth variant.

Just the 500, not the Abarth. Its production will move from Poland back to Italy. Fiat will be putting the existing 1L mild-hybrid into the larger platform of the current 500e. Its name will be the 500 Ibrida and it sounds like a failure before it even starts.

I always wanted an Abarth since i first saw the original 500 on Top Gear as a kid. After finally being in the position to buy one, i realised that it just wasn't for me - was a tough pill to swallow, but the test drive was not what I was expecting. However, i still absolutely love the way they look and sound. Its a true icon - something which the new electric Abarth will not manage to achieve.

As 60year old I feel it's a hobby or pastime that no one as anymore.
Plus you have the government with legislations that they don't want you on the road ?.
Euro laws coming in , why have a Lamborghini that's restricted to 70mph ?.
Just another big brother watching what you do ?.
Back to the car it's nice but a dying bread . ?

Giving you empathetic (hugs) for the loss of one of your favorite cars due to it going electric, Tish. Seeing that smile on your face (and the infectious laugh) as you drove this car made me smile, knowing that you were thoroughly enjoying yourself (not to mention how fetching you look in that outfit!).
Many of us here in the States would agree with you when it comes to the loss of that something special when you start a car like the Fiat Abarth or a classic muscle car (in my case). The sounds that come from the exhaust when you drive something like these is like music to the ears...something that could never be duplicated in an electric. ❤

I had 2 of them, did around 80000 miles together in 5 years. Friends, clubs are really good. However... Even that i can say it was all car i needed and the best one for me, it was overpriced and high maintenance. 40k miles and then the poor quality will show up. Which is sad if they are acting as premium sporty brand (with questionable fiat 500 quality). Electric Abarth 500 was great on test drive but missed opportunity to bring something great to the market and again overpriced. For that pricetag there are other EVs with similar specs. For £6000 less than price of new Abarth 500e you can get 1 year old smart #1 brabus (better range, 4WD, 0-60 in 3.9 sec).

This is an extremely quirky car and I have to wonder why they didn’t just remove the rear seats and add a roll cage, giving the car more rigidity. It’s a limited production sports car that has no boot or rear seat space. The seats seem terrible and no reach in the steering? It’s as if FIAT is purposefully trying to fail.
