I was always curious as to why he quit playing for Dark Funeral? I thought he wanted a break from touring. But then he started subbing in as a touring drummer for bands and now has his own band.
Seems to be a trend with insane drummers ov his caliper jon rice frost and nils prob best drummers with technical speed and blast beats also sub on a lot of bands that need tech drummers
They said that he took a timeout to handle personal matters and that his replacement will be in the band until further notice. They never said he left permanently so he might come back.
Well, filling in (pun intended) for a show or two is different from playing a 70+ min set every night for an entire tour and being away from home for the duration of that, if him doing a gig is what you find contradicting. But yeah, 1349 is not a bad place for him at all.
