    Sourdough Raisin Bread Recipe
    Ingredients
    6 cups of flour
    1 cup of sourdough starter
    3 teaspoons of salt
    2 1/4 cups of water
    1 cup of raisins
    1 tablespoon of cinnamon
1/2 cup of brown sugar or coconut sugar
The night before combine the flour, sourdough starter, salt and water in a bowl. Once combined add the raisins. Let the dough sit covered 30 minutes. After 30 minutes, stretch and fold the dough every 20 minutes for about an hour. Let the dough sit on the counter for 8 hours or overnight. The next day, combine 1 tablespoon of cinnamon with half a cup of brown sugar. Roll out the dough to a rectangle and spread the sugar mixture over. Roll the loaf tucking in the ends and place in a parchment lined loaf pan. Put in the fridge for a few hours to rise. Once risen, lightly score the loaf and place in 450 degree oven for 35 to 40 minutes.

I've found that if you leave your couch covers slightly damp, they go on much easier. You might want to put them on the last thing at night (after toddlers are in bed😊) so they will have a chance to dry overnight. Loved all the bread. Thanks for sharing.

Thank you for the tip! I can see how having it a little less dry would make it stretchier (and also being toddler free would help 😂)

I enjoy that video. I love the recipes and how everything looked. I am currently learning how to make the sourdough starter. Because it is so cold I didn't want to rise as much as expected. I will do more research and I will come back to it.

Keep trying! It took me a few times before I actually got one going. It’s well worth it. 😊
