      I appreciate that, really. was my first time doing one of these, and I took some inspiration from KarQ, an overwatch youtuber who does them similarly. So im glad people seem to like it

    the reduced penalty on the first autodidact skill check now gives the 5th stack skill checks a permanent extra 10% since it basically shifted all skill check penalties/bonuses by 10%

      i know. it is a buff, but im just saying it wasnt bad to have -25% either cus that kinda self served in a way to help you have a longer heal with more time to get skill checks. (also sick pfp lmao)

      Im glad you liked it! I mostly rolled on the way KarQ does patch note vids for overwatch because i see that the way he does them is just the right way all around. So i did my best to follow that path in my own way that i could. seems like it kinda worked out.

    You can trick the AI for the knights summons. Its actually insanely easy. It makes it possible to just ignore them entirely. Now that we have a 50% penalty if we hunt with them... its seems like a major nerf to me. Either i leave them to hunt on their own, and never get a hit. Or a hunt with them and now have half the time.

      woah woah woah, this is the giga buff he needed! It perfectly supports the way i play him which is letting the guards hunt and injure survivors while i hunt different people. plus with the super long hunt duration, its even better to do it. every guard has its place now, the guard with the easiest to activate hunt now has the longest chase time as it should, and you can use assassin to hunt people almost anytime u need. the only time i ever use my guards is to predict and listen where theyre going and drop it on them to hunt them when they dont even know its about to happen. I love these buffs so much! trust me, this only made him better and i couldnt be happier. plus dont forget, you can use the two best hunting guards for hunts nearly whenever you want, with the extended durations and choice of guard, youd be shocked how much better this is. tho i will agree that the ai could be alot better, tbh i dont mind now that the ai sometimes makes odd decisions on going around things, but im more rather bothered that there are still a good few places they can get perma stuck on. but they already said theyre working to fix it fopefully for the full launch

      @Aurum10 No and I agree it is FANTASTIC for that play style. However every time I've tried him on the ptb I've never gotten a hit thanks to tricking the AI.
      I WANT this style to work better, but as more and more people realise that you can just ignore the hunts. It will be much harder to use them. This is 100% on the skill and knowledge of the survivors and can turn knight into a m1 killer if everyone knows how to trick the AI

      @Aurum10 100% fingers crossed. Sadly my perception if most gaming companies is not verry high anymore. I hope it gets fixed, but I also know it most likely won't due to budget/time.
      Again I'm 100% hoping it gets fixed so they are usefull hunting alone.

      @@demoncushion9600 I mean they are majority of the time currently. Not saying it never happens where people know how but remember it also depends where and when they get hunted to be able to do it. But majority of the time my guards are just fine, even at very high mmr

    Dang, all the perks on survivor I use other than "iron will" since the nerf
    are getting buffed it weird to me because I saw them perfectly balanced.... now....idk they might end up becoming op😂😂

      @@fate_ofvengeance resurgence and janes perk won’t be too big a deal. But tbh, babysitter may be a way better anti-tunnel perk than even borrowed time now

    Being able to hook vs letting them bleed out is always preferred especially at the end, it just wastes time and it stops teams from running to hook deadzones to get free wiggle escapes.

      @@TK_TK811 yeah I know. I’m just saying I personally don’t have a problem with letting people bleed out. Plus in defence of leaving them: someone will have to come over there and get them up, buying me more time to do other things. And they will have to go to the deep end of the dead zone to get them Cus the down person won’t wanna leave the deep end of it in case I come back. And if it’s just the one person left, I’m patient, so I don’t really care about letting them bleed. Plus it lets me go clear out stuff for some extra bp, like left pallets, walls, or hatch and stuff.

    We really really really dont need more getting gens done faster perks when i have a gen pop on the first minute of the game before i find anyway all the way across the map on a slow speed killer

      I would agree that more gen speed perks arent needed. plus lets be honest, the first gen will always go quickly. ive just accepted that the first gen will always pass before i can notice its progress. only way you often get a hook before first gen is if you happen to get lucky with finding someone and downing them quick. i dont get too bothered by it anymore tho. first gen done quick is just the usual unless im lucky with peoples spawn or if i can stop them first. is what it is.

      Im glad they did cus ive been wanting some for a year now. I know they said hes deadly when mastered and i would agree, but its tough that even the median player will struggle with him. I have played him plenty and gotten to mastery point, but its just a matter of even when im playing well with him, it was too stressful and too much going on. Thats just my take on it, but im mostly happy about the knight changes as a knight main. ive wanted him to get some changes or buffs for years now and i finally got them and im so happy. Also im glad u liked the video, makes me happy my 10 hours of lazy editting are getting some enjoyment

    Wait, so how will the Add-Ons for Knight that allow for certain Guards to reappear twice work? Now that you can manually pick your Guard, aren't those Add-ons now fully, completely useless?

      yeah, the appear twice ones have beens changes to just reducing the cooldown for that specific guard by 20%. plus the map of the realm and dried horse meat basically do the same thing now. but with the buffs, they are no longer a "must have". we're finally free.

    Hook respawn is uneeded? Im sorry, but thats just untrue. There are ALOT of siutions where this is needed. Garden of Joy hourse, Eriye second floor, ect. You say you dont have an issue slugging, sure, but you shouldnt be forced to slug simply because you cant hook at all.

      I mean thats fair, and tbh i forgot to mention something i shouldve said in the vid, but if they need to have it, id suggest making it take longer. especially since breakdown does it for 3 minutes. so maybe make it 3 minutes for the sacrifice hook respawn too. i think thats more understandable than 1 min, so that way its not basically instant, but still takes a lil bit of time.

    First at all, I like this video. It was somewhat entertaining even though it was an information video. On top of that this kind of video in your style was very refreshing to current dbd contents, so I would apreciate to see more of these videos.
    (But Singularity isn't that hard. Watch one videos of someone who can play him, then relax and play. The strategy and to know when you should chase and when you should drop is a bit harder I guess, but in overall you just have to do stuff permanently. But the stuff doesn't require any Game-sense in terms of precise movements like a nurse or a Billy. I wish more peaple would play the lovely Singularity)

      @@Aurum10 dont get me wrong, its nice to change guards and have more versatility with them, but the super fast hunt timer decrease when your near the guards and the patrol distance needed before being able to place a guard kills his antiloop capability, im not too sure it was worth it, feels like a super bad tradeoff

      @@hyperbashzaden2681 works for me personally. Cus that’s literally 90% of my guards use. When I hit someone or they get any amount of distance between me, I send a guard for near max distance and sound whore to drop it right on them, then I can just let them do the work and more likely hit them now while I go stop other people from doing stuff. Always works out in my 100 prestige’s of time played. And I’m only excited for it to work better once it’s out. On top of that when they make the ai fix
