I think there might be a couple of maps where if you are in one corner of the map and someone else is in the other corner empathy wont work... But pretty much in every map you will see them 99% of the time unless you are playing in the October event which they are pretty much in a different spot...
I haven't played since late-2019 and I was using this video to catch up on things, but I realized that I never fully understood Deja Vu. It always looked good, but the way I read it I thought that some games it wouldn't do anything if there weren't 3 gens close enough to eachother. So I never used it in fear of potentially having a useless perk (aka. consistency factor). Now I'm just mad 😂
Hadn't thought of Empathy as a killer information perk before, great video. I run it with my healing builds, but somehow never thought of that added bonus information. I definitely wasn't blinding running toward the killer in an effort to heal someone... definitely not.. hehe...heh....
I actually have been running deja vu, bond, windows of opportunity, and sprint burst! I was thinking of switching it up that’s why I watched your video. Great video!
Before watching this, heres my personal Top 3 (Top5) choices of perks that you can get consistent value out of which you might not use (and i expect at least one but honestly nearly all of them being on this list). - We'll make it (+ Botany) - Bond - Alert (+ Fogwise, if you can hit greats rather consistently, which at a certain point you probably will)
thanks for introducing these perks, I'm still a relative noob in dbd and I took deja vu because I found the gens on the map so difficult and thought the permanent bonus was really cool 😄
Kindred, bond, empathy, and we'll make it are easily the best soloQ perks to help increase your team's chances to win or get some escapes. I'd put Deja Vu at 5 personally, but it is very underrated and should be used much more than it is.
I think an amazing one you missed that’s very underrated just like alert is troubleshooter from Gabriel soma. You can see the most progressed gens aura when being chased and you see the killers aura for 6 seconds after dropping a pallet
As a killer main, deliverance, dead hard, and borrowed time, are a waste.. the most annoying perks to go against are lithe, (sometimes sprint burst,) the stab you in the back perk, (forget the name) and engineer perk, anything for her to get 25% for hiding it is actually good, whether it’s healing or fixed engines, it’s good.
I kind of disagree with the We’ll Make It choice since sometimes a Survivor has already saved them off hook or is closer than you are to them. Botany is much more convenient, and omg you just brought up Botany, lmao.
We'll Make it Resurgence combo is the strongest heal meta in the game that shockingly almost nobody uses. Only way to not get value out of it is if the killer camps and if he does that's almost always a free win to do anything you want. Been using Kindred Resurgence We'll Make it and Windows of Opportunity for years and the perk combo is completely auto pilot braindead levels of broken lol.
My issue with empathy is that you can't mind jack your team mate and not stop them from getting away from you. Rather have an info perk like kindred to know where the killer is seeking out his next target.
Balance Landing is an amazing perk an Is really good bc it’s a perk that requires map knowledge to get value out of it, absolutely my top 3 fav perks in the game and is the best exhaustion perk for me, everyone says there’s maps you can’t use it on but what is one map you can??? I’d like to know bc I haven’t come across one
The real issue for Balanced Landing is less about maps where it's impossible to use, and more so that to get value of it in a chase situation you'd need to already be near a fall point, so you're not going to be able to turn the perk into killer distance in a chase as consistently as Sprint Burst. Think about when one perk lets you play cocky vs the other.
@@nathanielmohr9622 idk I’m always able to loop an chain loops to get my BL but that’s jus me, but still tho what maps are impossible for BL? I still have yet to get a response on that I’m genuinely curious
@@6Kharma Every map (so far) has an elevated structure, even if it's just a hill. The problem is getting to that hill. The perk's consistency is held back because it depends not only on which map is chosen, but also on how the map's features are generated. You would play better by keeping a 99ed Sprint Burst in your back pocket and chaining loops with the goal of using resources as efficiently as possible, instead of chaining loops to make it to a hill. Depending on your skill, the latter seems like either a waste of resources or of a perk slot.
Haha can't guarantee if I'll be motivated to do a build like (I try and make content based on my moods and interests - it's hard to force myself to do things otherwise) but I do take donation build requests when I stream to use random builds!
That's alright. I've used in some matches since the rework, and the performance is actually really decent. I'm using it with Deja vu and Resilience, but the remaining slot is honestly problematic for me to decide. In this case, i would love your opinion on wich perk could also be added on this mess of a build
@@StArkyBuildZ I would recommend distortion+decisive strike. Distortion helps you hide from killer aura's. It is important to get invocation off and when you are broken, your gonna get tunneled hard. That is where next perk comes in. Decisive strike. Sprint burst would be my last choice though your big on aura's so maybe one of those aura perks like Bond or WoO.
bro all of the perks you named are dog sheat except the exhaust perks and empathy, because a good player already knows what's going on around the map, but empathy is only good for trying to go for rescues from pickups.
11: Resilience (base)
10: Empathy (Claudette Morel)
9: Alert (Feng Min)

Agreed, I find it so much more satisfying to get consistent value from my perks each game
Empathy is so amazing but I almost feel forced to bring botany or we’ll make it along with it
Not forced, just good synergy 😉

I did start to use Bond some days ago and wow I can’t play without it anymore, such a good perk

super good perks!! I also recommend this one that makes you faster while crouched. Its a freaking game changer that perk

Ooooo very nice!!! Alerts made the cut but fog wise is def a solid perk for sure!
I've had teammates use bond against me, bringing killers to me while I'm on a Gen to get of a chase.
twats
I think left behind is slept on alot
I tend to end up in those situations quite alot so it is now one of my faveroute perks to run

I didn't expect deja vu and I've always had a pocket genrush build but never considered this perk. Is the 6% repair bonus enough?
The intel that it gives you on gen locations is almost better than than the 6% but yea it really does help.
Love your channel. The videos help me out so much :)
😁😁👏👏👏👍👍👍
I agree with deja being the best , but have you tried overcome , it beats all these perks
@@relaxingparadisesounds2216 it's a solid perk but wouldn't say it beats these in my opinion. To each his own tho 😉
