- In celebration of the 14th anniversary of the L4D games, I've compiled the entire L4D - The Return series into a movie! :D Now you can enjoy the continued journey of the survivors & their ultimate reunion in one feature length sitting. Like I've said before, I won't make anything of this scale for L4D ever again, but I do plan on making some smaller videos on and off in the future. So stay tuned if you wanna catch those when they happen!

this would probably the best story that we can get to L4D3, i hope someone can make an SFM of this, it's a great plot actually.

If they did 3d animation of this they need to get the original voice actors or voice impersonators that sounded like the l4d2 survivors

Underrated movie, this deserves more attention if I’m being honest.Great plot and awesome plot twists, seeing the survivors’ past lives prior the infection is amazing.Overall, great movie. 👏

I love how you try to give the L4D2 survivors their backstories as the infection was hitting, as it was only for the L4D1 survivors in the official comic.
Only if it was canon tho, well for Ellis is may be canon because that scene with the truck is a reference to a voice line he mentioned while the infection was still fresh.
Thank you! It was a fun challenge to try and create their backstories. Ellis definitely came easy because of the line about making a zombie-proof truck. Nick's was the hardest, and I ended up having to fix it right in the middle of production!

I'm happy to see the gang back together again. Will probably won't get a conclusion from Valve, so I'll gladly accept this as the canon conclusion to L4D.
Thank you for making this. At least i know how they all got together. I always play with the 8 Survivors Mod on, so it feels like a bunch of spinoff adventures as the survivors get lost on there way to Minneapolis. Somehow they went back in time and ended on the Titanic in one of those adventures if you haven't play on that map yet it is a must.

As much as it was smackes upon, the squad selection format of Back 4 Blood with each survivor having some slight perks (but not something so polarizing as it was there though) could had been awesome. Like say, coach has slightly more HP, Fracis has more "stamina" for shoving, Nicks temporary HP drains slower things like that.

I really love how the movey took it's time and showed the emotions of the survivors, starting off with the original group really shows the aftershocks of Bill's death; I also like how you showed how it effected Zoei the most as she had to spare her dad from the infection (even though he was immune, but nobody knew at that time) and Bill, well he fit the "father" role as he kept everyone in order, and kept the together. Then we have the L4D2 survivors, and i really like how you showed their memories when they encounter/hear something; for example Nick when Rochell was talking to Nick as she left the safe house, he remember something similar to that conversation about safety. But what I really love is how you used some of the cut infected such as the screamer and some others (but i don't know if the others are cut infected). But I really do love this story it's probably the closest we'll get to a good fan-made story about L4D2!
Thank you very much! ^^ I wanted to create some emotional depth with the characters in the story, and I'm glad it came through as well as it did. The cut infected were fun to put in too :) (the ones I used were the infected hogs, Claws, and yes, the Screamer)

HOW THE HELL DOES THIS ONLY HAVE 10K VIEWS? This is the first time ive seen a proper script and well, lines that fit with the character. Very rare in valve game fan fictions. Just checked your other projects and i gotta say it keep it man!

@@ArtzDeeva Hopefully you will because honestly i really love the way you made the l4d series. It is so close to being a powerpoint slideshow or i guess a book, but your story telling is so good and the drawings are so much complimentary with the context we get so far its just perfect. There are not any distractions so i can peacefully watch it at whatever time i want and not feel overwhelmed. Honestly would even say they are incredibelly relaxing

why hasn't this blown up by now? the art is something I Didn't expect, it stayed (and is) super good for the entire movie. the characters act exactly like in the games and the story still followed the lore for the first 5 minutes, but then became even better and better. you are like, disney level animator

I seriously would take this as an Official ending to Left 4 dead's story. It's a nice ending and so fitting to have the 7 Survivors leave and drive into the sunset. And with Bill in spirit on their side. Bet he would have changed his views about his group trusting other people.
Who knows what truly laid behind that bunker.

Man, you wrote this movie way too good, I started tearing up as soon as the group had to use the chest paddles on Nick due to his sacrifice. Details are amazing, still crying from that scene but holy shit, AMAZING MOVIE. Deserves more attention, thank you for your time and effort on this movie, you did an amazing work.

It feels nice that they meet virgil again, I've grown attached to him because his been with the survivors for 3 campaigns Swamp Fever, Hard Rain & The Parish
I have loved this game since childhood and to see this fan movie is simply unimaginable, as if this movie embodies the love for the entire fanbase of this game, guys who did it all, thank you so much for this pleasant hour of watching, although I barely know English, but it punches me to vivid emotions, what you do very much inspires, with love from a little Russian boy who loved this game with all his hearts...

This is one of the best things I’ve seen in my life, and I love the story telling, thank you for making this for the L4D community~
Soo after watching it. The ending was actually perfect. The two teams reunited from their mistakes. Losing someone you love, it develops their own self. Like anger, stress, and much more
The situation they always encounter, they always work together. But sometimes one of them tries to sacrifice theirselves, for the other survivors to escape. Even if they don't want to die in the situation they handle.
All I can say. I thank you for making this absolute masterpiece. It's always a 10/10 to me. Because this is the first movie that is actually a good fan-made and a fan-made that uses valve lore's in their game (well some but it's fine)

Left 4 Dead was my childhood mate! I love this game so much, I remember how excited I was for the sequel when it first came out.
Now it’s 2024 and I still love this game and the community is still holding strong, even if we never get a third game at least you managed to make a perfect conclusion to such a phenomenal series.
This is just the best l4d story. I love it!
This is literally the best fanmade movie I’ve ever seen. Imagine if someone officially took the time to make this an official mod for L4D2 and reanimated it in SFM or Gmod I would literally pay good money to see that become a reality. You even took the time to use the unused Special infected like the Screamer, Hell Hogs and Claws. The best part is they ALL get a happy ending. (Well except for Bill…but you know what I mean.) I can only imagine the interesting hijinks with these guys all together. Oh and I also like how you touched on Nick, Ellis, Coach, and Rochelle’s backstories that was such a nice touch. Anyways I’m pretty much rambling at this point. I cannot wait to see what you do in the future with these guys.

All this looks like story-board but with full details and I adore its art style. Someone definitely should make complete VO of that with AI or with original actors, it's too good. Really enjoyed the plot, it's perfect fits to the canon, and for me it's perfect finale to the Left 4 Dead.

I'd love to see another L4D2 update, where this campaign is included. Also, instead of being just one campaign, there'll be 2 versions of this, let's say the campaign is titled: The Return, tagline? Idk. The Return A is a campaign for these remaining 3 (Zoey, Louis and Francis), and The Return B is a campaign for L4D2 Survs. Same place only different locations, similar to the Passing and Sacrifice, different routes and same places. And since the Sacrifice in game differs in comics, the game doesn't have to completely follow this story, they could do different path, (although this story would be more canon. Just like the Sacrifice comic is more canon than the game version). If Campaign A, the rescuers would be L4D2 Survs, they're in Van. But if Campaign B, the OG 3 would be their rescuer. A determinant thing instead. Forgive me if it's too vague or melodramatic. Also, excellent work ArtzDeeva.

Every time I hear the L4D theme, it makes me wanna cry softly. Gives me childhood memories when I was new to the franchise. I didn't know anything about the enemies nor the environment so it was fun and mysterious. Now I'm a l4d veteran that can screw around with my friend on the hardest difficulty and still make it to the safe house. Thank you for making this video! You did a good job.
