There are a ton of variations for a LEGO sawtooth. I call this particular one LEGO Sawtooth 16-8-2: 16 segments (or teeth) that are 8 studs long and 2 studs high. I've got another variation in the works for a YT short.

That creaking sound of the bricks being bent into a circle is just like the 70s sound of single 2 x 4 bricks being used normally. Vintage bricks creak like old knees🤔😂
Those and the cheap off brand bricks my grandma always bought me as a kid. Even brand new they still looked 10 years old
This is probably because they're 50 year old pieces of plastic. That's gotta be at least 90 in Lego years
@@sameman6884 I think 1 human year is in fact 50 lego years. They tend to age fast. That's why lego bring out many new sets each year. 🤔😉😁
@@audiotron1003 which means that it is indeed at least 90 Lego years
@@audiotron1003 the life expectancy for plastic is 400 years
Okay, this one got me, you fiend. When you connected the two final long pieces one half of my brain kinda knew they were all you were going to use, but the other half of my brain was adamant that there was NO WAY they would bend all the way round like that, even after watching a gajillion of these builds now.
I found myself legitimately gritting my teeth when the creaking started, and in the darkest corners of my mind it still echoes even now. 😬
You always have the best comments 😂
The reflections of the light on the different faces as it rolled was so gorgeous, all the slightly different angles flashing at slightly different times made it shimmer. Have you ever made a sculpture specifically to play with the reflective property of the lego?
Not specifically, but that's a beautiful idea. Every large build I've made--once it's put under any kind of exhibition lighting--reflects and shimmers in an amazing way, and ultimately it depends on where the viewer stands that determines the final effect. The largest build I've ever created was 10 square meters and had more than a dozen overhead light sources within an enclosed space. I spent hours and hours trying to coordinate the lights to make for the best aesthetic. What's really crazy is that in that kind environment you get both light reflection and depth of shadow within the build. It's an artistic world all its own. : )
@@BrickBending you didn’t read it all

I’m intrigued as to how you work out how small a circle you can make, is it trial and error or is there some degree that you know certain joints can bend and then you just do the maths?
Math and brick knowledge with a side of experimentation
I have a rule of thumb of roughly 100 studs in a normal circle. I can push that down if I need to but the risk of cracking a brick goes up. With this I did a rough calculation in my head and guess at 16 segments--which worked, and was a nice number for the way I film.
*math
@@taffyadam6031 take it you don't know the British English dialect uses maths instead of math?

LEGO circles have become tumors; that’s the only explanation for the title.
😨
🤣🤣🤣
The module, the assembly, the transformation and discretization of the circular ring with the block bending.
Yep. Parametric architecture in a gentle lesson. Channels like these deserves support.
I would try this if I could get my hands on an ungodly amount of pieces
There are a couple of websites where you can order pieces from

The sound when bending was cool
I love the sound.
Like: rikitikitititi-ki-tieki--ki-ti.
And then raperappetap.
Good work !
Keep sensitive
The sound of bending it into a circle is amazing
Do the gloves make it easier or harder to put the pieces together?
Probably less painful
Prevents hands from drying out
Slightly harder, but I've learned a few tricks to help.
@@RWU3125 wtf mine sweat
I love the way the bricks scream in protest as you force them into unnatural configurations!
it is a giant gear!
Great design. It would be amazing if this could be adapted into a spiral
I was hoping we’d get a blooper of it ex-loading. I was nervous the whole time!
I think the coolest part of this was how, starting at 1:37, the light reflecting off of the outside of the circle around the outside 10 'o clock position and around the inside 4 'o clock position highlighted all of the yellow 1 x 2 bricks as the circle rolled. Your builds are awesome! I also find myself cringing a bit as I'm just certain it's going to explode before you get it connected into a circle... But it never does. Haha!
I like the fact that you can actually see the effects of all the strain put on these pieces up close.
the way you structure your builds has given me a few good ideas for a thing i'm building atm, thx :)
Amazing!!! Love it
Wow! That build is sick! And also if u used orange bricks instead of yellow, it would look like a ring of fire 🔥!
So true!
Satisfying! Well done. That rolling sound was nice.
this channel is the "repeat the step twice" lego instruction to the extreme
Really editing job. I really appreciate the skill both with the legos and the video editing. Good pacing and focus on what is important with distracting music or distracting backgrounds.
On average, how long does it take to brainstorm a build, & how long does it take to build the build? I can't imagine having the patience to come up w any of these builds myself.
Wow! A sawtooth! I subscribed to your channel, because your content is very entertaining!
Beautiful keep going friend
I can hear those bricks crying in agony.
I would love to see a Lego beyblade stadium. Like one that has spikes or something
Create mod grinding wheel moment
Feels like this could be the basis for a number of different design ideas?
you should try to make a life-size lego hula hope then try to use it, I would love that.
That' what we would have called a "vicious circle " when I was in high school...
I feel very weird after seeing it turn like that
Has anyone replicated any of the builds in this series of videos?
That sound was cool
if lego deletes this video, it's canon
It looks like its gonna explode at any second
Waiting for the 10 hour ASMR version
@BrickBending:
Is there any structural obstacle to making this as a spiral, in which the studs of one turn click into the underside of the bricks in the next turn?
WOW THIS FILLS ME WITH ANXIETY. thanks I hate it.
*starts watching*
*notices title a few seconds later*
Nani...
So nice👌👌👌
I cant not cringe when he bends those bricks 😂
how often do the bricks break?
nice video
Do you have a duplication machine because how do you just slide in a copy of the build
You can make water mill out of Lego now
Cool!
As a lego fan, I love these videos!!

I get it!
Looks kinda like sonic spindashing
You making the Great Wall of china
Lego circular saw 👀
You definitely should make the elden ring out of legos
Would you be able to make a circle with 'teeth' sticking out?
Maybe think about adding some background music to the video during the building process
I use music for my YT shorts. I like having some with music and some without.
I got an iFunny ad about how to avoid hugs. Wth
Cool
Evidence that the world is flat.

You can make something outta this
You just gotta have much Lego and a lot'a Hot Glü
Ouroborus!
It looks like it was going to bust
Goodbye, yellow brick road!
Why did i think that lego will have some kind of animal or human teeth lol
Regardless, nice vid!
if your teeth are yellow and green you better start cleaning them
Wow
the fbi is too scared of this man
Is this a legal building technique?
sand paddle tires
Looks like the ball from geometry dash
How is that possible!?
Menchads
The bending made my eyes very uncomfortable
Geometry dash
Talk about an illegal lego technique
It's not
is that a geometry dash refference?
WHAT?
As someone who is friends with a lot of digital artists I cannot in good conscience actively support someone who goes all in on NFTS I understand from other comments that this is you dipping your toe in and that you are looking further into the details of the shady dealings behind the scenes when it comes to NFTS and I hope you eventually decide against continuing to sell NFTS
The technology behind NFT's is interesting and useful--particularly as provenance for artists like me--but it is clearly being abused and over-hyped right now. I won't be diving in until Ethereum solves their crazy power consumption problem at the very least.
