    What do you think, ya'll? Did we accurately set expectations and provide the right insights for people stuck between the A3500 and one of the new X Series? Thanks for watching. You can support our work by shopping Vitamix with our links bit.ly/bfgVitamix

      This video did not help me. I would like to see more on the new programs in the X5. Are they worth the money, meaning testing and a demo of each at some point. The big jump here is for 5 more programs, so how about them?

      Not sure if it makes them more or less appealing, but I'm pretty sure the note saying "close-out" means A3500's won't be available for much longer. bit.ly/A3500thruLINY

    I have the A 3500, which I love. 😊 it came with the 64 ounce container. I bought a 48 ounce container which I use frequently. But the container should not be your issue. It’s the machine that should be your issue. I have the 48 ounce container, stainless steel container, the aer container , the food processor attachment. All of them they are quite functional. I find the A3500really simple to use, and convenient. let the base be your decision.

    Honestly, the A3500 makes the most sense. It is basically an x4 in terms of the number of standard blending programs it comes with and it should be cheaper too. Also, the sound is not noticeably different, so I don't think that should be a decision maker for anyone. Both machines have the same motor I believe so not sure how the sound is different. The specs on these machines is all the same, the container size is different and the standard number of blending programs is different. Otherwise, it's the same exact thing. Also, the A3500 works with the vitamix app and you can utilize different blending programs there that will connect directly to the machine via Bluetooth. The new X series is not compatible with the app.

      The a3500 seems absurdly bulky in appearance and the Self
      Detect first stab received complaints, it is why my Primary machine is still my Stainless Pro 500. I do not like the 64oz wide container coming with the a3500 and dont need it, I have every container minus dry goods. I am tempted to get an x5 because of additional programs and the +15 button and THE STAINLESS STEEL BODY. If I had my true wish it would be a real stainless body Pro750 Heritage but its hard to find them in new condition. I have the 48oz stainless steel container and that is my absolutely favorite so my call to Vitamix will be to request an x5 with the 48oz dry goods. The app is garbage on ios and android so there is nothing much to miss. X5 all the way

      @WFXO What's wrong with the app?, it work's fine with my A3300 and Android phone. The A3300 has a narrower body and fits on my small counter better than my Legacy 6300.

    I still think if you are gonna have two containers in the end, you’re better getting the a3500 because the cost to buy an extra 48oz versus 64oz is less. You’ll spend less. Get the a3500 and a 48oz Stainless Steel, even better…no staining, non reactive, keeps things hot or cold better.

      That's what I did with my A3300 and I already had the Stainless Steel Container from using it with my 6300 Legacy.

      @ I sold my pro 750 (had all the containers for that one also) but kept my SS. I bought the a3500 (along with all the containers ams accessories 🤣🤷🏻‍♀️😊). I still think it is more visually appealing than the x series. I realize it’s subjective, but I don’t like the x series cube appearance ams I don’t like the black rubber juat halfway up the handle. The black rubber handle on the 64oz pro 750 container was nice. Nice grip. I like the handle/shape and grip on the SS too.

    Regarding the container size, it’s not just about the volume, but the narrower base that improves blending for small batches. You did mention this in another video, and I saw it highlighted in a 5200 review where the narrow base was shown to eliminate chunks in small batches. I’m not sure viewers fully grasp that the smaller container’s narrow base is key to achieving smoother results.

    im so jealous you guys get the x series. I dont know when these are going to be released in my country. I looked up to see if vitamix had done any paperwork on getting the x series approved, but they havent done any, so its probably quite far away. I need to buy a blender right now and if I had a choice to buy the x5 I would, because it looks SO clean. But I cant so I’ll just get the a3500 and convince myself that the a3500 with perfect blend app is better. 😂

  • @perkypeet
    @perkypeet 2 месяца назад

    IMO the 48oz makes more sense either way. It can do small batches better and if you want to blend as much as the 64oz would, just do 2 batches. It only takes a minute to blend things anyway.

    It looks like the A3500 is discontinued. It seemed like the better option for me with the 64 oz container but do you think I should reconsider if it is getting discontinued or get it now while it's still available through resellers? I don't want to have a blender that won't have compatible parts in a couple of years.

    Their bundles were a bit confusing. For the x5 it has 2 processor blades and the a3500 has multiple.
    So then your left confused if the 2 in the x5 bundle do the same job as the a3500 blades
    Sometimes they make it so confusing!!!

    I just ordered the X5. The only compelling feature of the a3500 is the android app, but it's unavailable for my phone and tablet... was never updated for newer android? Is it still supported? Honestly, the UI on the x5 and the 48oz do everything container speaks better to me, and yes, kids are all in college now, so Im only cooking for two. I like the smoothie bowl and frappe presets being directly on device and the +15 second button. The only question i have is adding a stainless steel container later for flour or coffee bean grinding...will that work, or will they release a smaller version?

    • @LINY
      @LINY  2 месяца назад +2

      Great pick! Stainless for flour or other recipes down the road is a good plan. For coffee bean grinding, the Vitamix can do it but coffee aficionados will tell you you're better to get a proper burr grinder.

      The app is junk on Android and iOS. I stopped using it, too many good Vitamix books and youtube vids vs that awful app. I don’t even think the scale to pair with app is available and that was half the point of it.
