Which machine fits your needs better? The most expensive or least expensive Vitamix? Or maybe one in the middle? Thanks for watching!
(And a quick note, the screen on the A3500 doesn't blink like that in real life, that was my cameras shutter capturing that!)

I have an explorian. I'm kind of a minimalist with cooking achiness. It is fine for me. I process veggies for salads. I made pancakes, smoothies, salad dressings. I am very happy with the explorian. Advanced Vitamix models are like self driving cars. I'd rather be in charge.

One thing you didn’t mention is that the e310 not only has a smaller container but that is narrower, which is why I got it. You can do smaller batches with the e310. As a single person I don’t want to make smoothies for 2. I was looking for something that would do smaller batches without the need for an additional container.
Also, while you do need to pay more, you can upgrade the 5 year warranty to 8 years when you purchase the blender, which I did.

I recently bought my Vitamix 750 for $550 because I've been wanting one ever since I started having daily smoothies since March 2021.
My Oster was good, but it couldn't take it anymore and was spewing out black "dust" and it wanted to retire.
The Oster's motor was 450 watts and my new Vitamix 750 is I think 1200 watts of power.
I love the 64 oz. Vitamix container, and the lid is very easy to take off and put on (this was a big concern of mine) and it makes BIGGER batches of smoothies (an additional (2) 8 oz. cups over the Oster blender).
Now I put in my smoothies a whole celery bunch, 2 cups Kale, 2 bananas, 1/2 English cucumber, nutritional yeast, cinnamon, and chocolate protein powder - these yields (6) 8 oz. cups of smoothies for me that last 3 days in the refrigerator.
It used to take me 30 to 45 minutes to make smoothies in the Oster blender (includes prepping, cutting into smaller sizes, blending each round of veggies and finally cleaning and taking apart blender to clean each piece).
Now it takes me 3 to 5 minutes (includes prepping, total blending and cleaning container).
    health

I was in the same boat when I graduated college, had a cheap blender that just couldnt keep up anymore so I started researching blenders. And it lead down this rabbit hole of testing a ton of different blenders! Haha. The difference really is huge, throwing whole ingredients into a Vitamix vs cutting everything up for a cheap blender and still not getting great results. Especially the more tougher ingredients like the celery! Congrats on the new. machine!

I bought my Vitamin used approximately 13-14 years ago, off of Craigslist. The woman I bought it from said she'd had it for 20 years. So, I guess it's just about 35 years old now.
She sold it to me for $100 and the only thing wrong with it was one of the rubber feet was missing. I just put a plastic pillbox under it and have never bothered to look for a replacement. It' works just fine. Oh, also, the lid is missing the plastic cap that covers the tamper hole. If I think I'm gonna cause a spray I place a saucer over it. No problem. I only ever rev it up that fast when I'm cleaning it.
I have looked many times into buying a brand new one; I can even afford it now! But I just can't do it because I don't spend money I don't NEED to spend! So as much as I might like a smaller profile jar, I'm not spending $150 for it when I don't need to.
So I bought a 20 year old Vitamix and am still using it 14 years later. Not bad!

I got the 750 that has some different settings : soup, smoothie and clean. There are a few more that I almost never use. But it’s great for smoothies, soup and cleaning setting. Also get the 32 oz container with a tamper. It’s really worth it.

The 750 has the identical settings as the a3500, same motor etc. It’s a powerhouse. IMO superior because you don’t get errors and issues registering containers, plus you can get the 32oz container which is better IMO. I have bit the 48oz and the 32oz and 32oz blends better. Now…I also have the 48oz stainless steel and tend to use that more often, but that is because I prefer the material.

I debated on the high end and low end of the vitamin machines. We can live in hope. BUT saying that Vitamix is a bonza blender. I have had two. Cheaper one and the super model. All I can say is it is still noisey. But we are talking industrial. It is less noisy in a shopping centre because of vastness of space, but domestic it is like a moon launch. My final comment, the big baby could possible grind cement...but I am not going to try that. It is noisy it will always be noisy but to get a quick smooth blend I am stuck on Vitamix. I don't need a copper one or a colour coordinated one, just one that works, works fast and makes me happy at the end. PS. My dog hates it, but who the hell asks their dog if they like blenders. 🎉❤😊

    • @taniaallan5702
      @taniaallan5702 Год назад +4

Also the motor size. The e320 is a full 2.2ho like the others while the e310 is 2hp. Where this makes a difference is the smaller motor is not designed to use with a larger container than 48oz because of the extra power needed for torque on a 4” vs 3” blade. If you get 320 and want to buy a secondary smaller container (it comes with 64oz), you can. If you buy 310 and want larger, it is not recommended (by Vitamix). It can void your warranty.

VITAMIX is anything but reliable. After a while your highly likely run into the problem that your container does not get recognised. In my case right after purchase, basically right after unpacking, the container was not recognised. Vitamix sent me a new one but I should have already known that the design is flawed. Now, after 2.5 years, same issue, but no warranty! Meaning, the Vitamix is useless. Go for something more basic and reliable. The autodetect function is a big mess. I do not know how they could introduce such a fragile tech to the market. Go for the older version which I had earlier and was satisfied about. The new one is my opinion a scandal

I have had my Vitamix E320 for over 6 years. My son makes smoothies almost every day & sometimes twice. It's an amazing machine & definitely worth the investment.

Because of the horrible Vita-Mix marketing, this video is just wrong:
The best Vita-Mix blender is actually the Vita-Prep 3. It only shows up on the "Commercial Products" section. It's buried. It costs $683 as of 11/23. Peak 3 HP motor and tons of cooling. It's a beast that makes the other "consumer" Vita-Mix blenders look like expensive but cheap toys.

Really? No dB or video about the sound? A tad disappointing.

Good review but I can’t shake the feeling that Vitamix reviews are a little like the Emperor Has No Clothes. No one ever questions the downsides. You pay $700 or more for a machine and yet: 1) you still have to guard again overheating - this should be automatic 2) The motor noise is insane, 3) you need to use a tamper (to help the blender) despite all the technology and blade sharpness and 4) you pay for your warranty… basically the less expensive machines aren’t built to the same standards so they’re sold with half the warranty. I know they’re great products but honestly, why do people only hear Vitamix evangelists and never the critics.

I have a Ninja & while I do love the bowl for mixing batters, I was never satisfied with the smoothies. I wanted the consistency that I get from the store. The Vitamix gives me that. I can get a great smoothie whenever I want at home. This was definitely a game changer!!
