Today's colors (Artist's Loft Ready Mixed paints in Black, White and Cerulean Blue, and Colourarte's Prism Pour in Royal Sapphire) were mixed one part paint to one and a half parts of the following pouring medium.
Pouring Medium: 5 parts Floetrol and 2 parts Elmer's Glue All

Love the blues and I'm with you... Black backgrounds are dramatic! Is it just a personal preference to not have the ribbon go to the corner? It didn't bother me one bit. Beautiful, my friend😁😘
Artistically, it's best not to divide a corner like that, but there's so much else going on, it's not too big a deal! 😘
I never yell stop because I love the depth the tiny ribbons make as well.😊 You cannot go wrong with blue is right.💙 This is just soo soo pretty! I LOVE the black base with the drama as always. It just makes it POP off so nicely. I am thinking of trying a turquoise in different shades with some copper maybe?... hmm IDK but I wanna try to do a ribbon in turquoise with a black base. I have never done one that color.💁♀ Although mine NEVER ever turn out as pretty as yours do!😉 There is nothing like a resined topcoat. That 1 you did DID & put up in the gallery was fantastic! Absolutely, if I had more black I could have poured over areas when wet, when dry I could paint over. But I still had plenty of paint on the surface that I could work with. Thank you Angela and have fun with your ribbons! 😘
Is it best to wait until you are all done with doing the pouring to pop the bubbles or do you do it with each color that you pour?
I don't worry too much about bubbles to be honest. I often ignore them, but if I am being conscientious, I pop after laying the basecoat, then at the end after pouring and tilting. 😊
