- I made the pouring medium 2parts pva glue to 1part water by weight, and then mixed 5part pouring medium to 4part paint by weight. I added extra water to some to thin them down so the consistency of all paints was the same. I also added Spot On Treadmill Silicone to each colour.

Definitely number 5! Love the cells, colors and chaos!
By far the best is the flip cup 😍, then the swirly ribbon pour 💜, then the ribbon pour.👍🏻
I like the last two the best!
Hi Clair I loved the centre , the one you didn't like. I guess we all have different tastes in art
4 & 5 by far my favourite.
4 is my favorite but they are all nice.
I like #5 the best, then #4. Beautiful colors on all.
This is so cool! 4 and 5 are my favorites! I love some big ol cells❤️
The last one is my favourite ❤
No. 5 is my favorite. I love all the colors showing.
Hi from The USA, your color are great
All beautiful! Last two my favorite:) fun to watch all the different pours!
1 and 3 are my favorites
Claire, my favorites are the flip cup and the last ribbon pour. I've never been crazy about anyone's ring pours. Just not my cup of tea. Love the flip cup painting the most. Enjoy watching you're videos. Also love that you experiment.
Shirley ribbon pour👍❤️❤️❤️
I like number 2 and 3 the best.
I love # 4
I liked the last one the most but before you heated it so much. Very informative video! Thank you for sharing.
Thank you 😊
My favorites are 3 and 5. But I love them all
Love #5, swirling ribbon pour.
I like all five for different reasons.
Lovely Claire. I like 5,3,1,4,2. My husband likes 5,3,4,1,2. Glenis
last is my fav
In order of best to okay -- 4, 5, 3, 1, 2. Thank you for explaining each type of pour and executing them. If I were making suggestions, I would have put silicone in only one or two colors rather than in all, but you were applying an even testing platform so as to get comparable results across five different pouring methods. 👍😊
No. 3 reminds me of a detailed photo of a gas giant planet. I love it!
I liked numbers 1 and 5. Wonderful experiment. The artist I believe you are thinking of is Georges Seurat . Thank you for sharing, Elaine
I like the first one by far the best. I like the focus of colour, so that the design becomes the focus. For me, the others are too messy. But I could use something like that to continue working with something else on top...
Nice one, well done.
I like the 3rd one the best!
Very cool test.
❤ 🎨 thank you! I like them all
Thanks so much 😊
I like the last one, it had more colour and movement.
The ghosting on the straight pour was fantastic.
Thank you so much for your experimenting! I can't wait to do some of my own. New paints arriving this week!!
Lovely cell variations.
Amazing!
My favorites are the two ribbon pours. I was surprised how much the purple took over in several of the paintings.
Thank you very much 😊
BEAUTIFUL❤❤❤😊😊😊
Awesome techniques. I'll try it today
Love this! I was so helpful! I loved 4 and 5 the best, then 3. 1 and 2 tied! Thank you for doing this.
Thank you 😊
I love all of them. I want to try this!
This is the joy of fluid art. You started with the same cups and each result has its own look.
I like them aall
I love experiments like this. It’s amazing how different they can be. Very cool, thx for sharing
Each painting has a kind of unique flair. I like the last one with all those colorful cells the most. Good job!
Wow!!
I absolutely love that you did this experiment!!
They all look beautiful to me!
Purple is my favorite color!! 💜
But my favorite is definitely the one shown in the middle, ribbon pour, at the end of the video. 💜 ❤ 💜 ❤
Thank you so much for sharing this with us!!
13:20 "One of the really fun things about fluid art is, you can't plan too much, you might have a plan, but I think the key is just to be flexible and go, literally, go with the flow of the paint".
Well said, I agree!!
I like to say "Fluid art is the media for me because I tend to have a perfectionist personality, and all other art forms I end up being frustrated and disappointed in my outcome. 😑 But with Acrylic Pouring, I choose the colors, I choose the canvas, and I have a general plan, but once that paint hits the canvas, 'it takes on a life of it's own.:
I just discovered Acrylic Pouring on 6/7/22 and I've already done 7 pour Paintings and posted 4 videos on my Channel!
The first 2 were actually tempera paint pours because that's all I had.
The next one was with Acrylic craft paints.
The next one was with Acrylic Paints and it turned out beautifully if I do say so myself! Lol
Happy Pouring Everyone!! 👏🤗👏🤗
I think 3 is the best , but They are al Beautiful
one and five, thank you.
What fun...
Claire, it's a great video and artwork session. All 5 paintings are unique and beautiful in their own way. I just cannot pick a favorite. If I had made any one of these I would be bursting at the seems! I am not normally crazy about a ton of cells, but I love 4 and 5 because you didn't swipe or use a specific cell activator. I love 1 because of the design you got from the pour, I have never done a straight pour before. I never knew you could get such a beautiful design. I did do a ring pour before, 2, but I didn't use these beautiful colors or get this great design. 3, I adore ribbon pours and I'm not sure why. But in this one you can see all of the gorgeous colors and the lines and designs. Sorry, but I wish you had made it easier to choose, so it's your fault I can't pick a favorite because you are an outstanding artist. ❤❤❤ By the way I see a friendly monster face in 2. Kinda cat looking. 😂
Thank you so much for this and all your experiments, Claire - its so helpful for new artists like me. Your art is lovely. The straight and the ring pours are my favourite but they are all so pretty. Thanks for taking the time to share your learnings with us ❤
They are all fab but my favourite is number 5. I quite like the cells in 4 because they have a mix of the colours and look like little opals. It's always interesting to see experiments like this - fascinating that the same colours produce such different results. Thank you for sharing.
I love your paintings 😍
Usually I'm not into cells so I like nr tree. But I love No. 5 to my surprise. It's incredibly beautiful 🥰
Thanks for the great videos 😘
4, and 5 are my favorites. Thank you, Claire
The 5th pour is my absolute favorite 😍 the others not a fan of them.
5 is my favorite! but they are all awesome. even the one you didn't like (number 3?)
The last ribbon is my fav. Very cool to see same colors and how they behave using different techniques. Similar yet very different ⚠️
They are all good. The one that was the ribbon pour would suitable for embellishments. They are all very good. The last one is great due to being able to see all the colours. Thank you for sharing 🤩 🥰
I like the two ribbon pours the best! 😊
So fun thanks
I like the 5 Tj one the best.
Thank You for sharing your time and talent with us. You are so awesome Claire.
It is amazing the different results you can get with different techniques.
My favorite is the last one because one can see the different colors and all those cells. Love it.
Thank you 😊
Love one and four the best to me. B
That last one you did was stunning!! Love watching these experiments! The ring pour is lovely too! They make a lovely series! Xx
5 swearly o e is my favorite! I think they're all beautiful but the colors in #5 are amazing!
My favourites are number 1 and number 5, thanks for doing this and sharing Claire xx
I like 1, 3 and 5. No 4 for me is just a little too busy for me. When it was first done with a little torching it was better. Love you work and enthusiasm tho Claire. You are so infectious and I just love watching your work. Bless you 😃
My favourite is the ribbon pour. Thank you for sharing x
2 and 5 are my favorite. Love the color in 5 and the depth in 2. I would totally choose 3 over 4 though.
Thank you so much for sharing! I live see all the different outcome and techniques ❤️
I love the last two! I think maybe the artist you were thinking of was George’s Seurat?
Great video! We both really liked how the ring pour turned out. However, the color pallette you used looks great in all 5.
Thanks so much 😊
Also this was helpful for me,
Earning how much purple Does dominate. 🤩🥰
This was really fun to see the different outcomes. My favorite is the flip cup, kind of astounded by the results. The last one is nice as well. Thanks!
I enjoyed this video so much. What a great expirament! I can't decide because I love them all (even the ribbon pour) Great job.
My favourite is the ring pour, so much depth and detail 🥰
What a great experiment! I love #5. It just seems bolder and I really like that. Thanks for sharing.
Absolutely #1 it’s focal point reminds me of nature, and it’s irregular beauty. ❤❤❤
I prefer number 5. Would be a great one for stencil embellishments.
Number 4 is my favourite, I can see where you got Monet from with this painting, I have loved his art since high school.
Thank you 😊
Fun! I like the swirly ribbon pour best 🥰
Third is the best I love it 2nd is good too all diffrent.watching the last must say is a tie with ,3rd.
Thank you 😊
My favorite is the last and now I"m planing that last one. Thank you for showing these different styles and the differences.
I enjoy your experiments. My favorites are 1 & 5.
It's so much fun watching to see what the results are in the end. One thing I learned is that some paints are heavier than others. I watched LeftBrainedArtist. He breaks everything down so you can understand how different colors react. Which will float on top, which are heavier, overpowering, how pearl, irredecents, opaques etc react together. He even breaks down how much paint should be used per canvas size. He's quite interesting & definately kwft brained.😅😅
You do learn alot.
Thank you
I like them all. Each piece brings something new.
#5 is a stunner! ❤️🕯
Thank you. I love the last one
I like 1,2,and 5
Your experiment is awesome. Thank you so much for sharing!!! I love when you experiment! Not sure which I like best. It’s between the straight pour and the last one. First and last 😂.
Love the last one #5! I love the cells❤️
All are beautiful. Last one my favorite, Carolyn from Marshall, N.C USA
How fab, another of your experiments! I really like nos 1 and 3! I did three different paintings with black bases snd Metallics: Aus swipe, Dutch pour and little swipes over the whole background. You’ve inspired me to try something like that again! Thanks, 😃
Thank you 😊
I ❤ #4!!
Thank you
I love the last 3 you did the most. 4 and 5 are really awesome with all those cells. I do so many straight and ring pours atm (practice makes perfect they say lol) that the wow factor has faded for me. I think I need to p/u some neon or florescent paints for a pop 🤔
Great information and help here! Without silicone, #3 imo and #5 my favorite comparing the two silicone pours. Keep up the great work! 👍
1 and 3 are my favorites...I really love 3 the best😁
All are very beautiful.
