- When you're having chemotherapy treatment there are a few key things to remember to keep you and your family safe at home. In this quick video, you'll learn all about them.
I feel like you are massively overxagerating
Thank you for this video! It is a good reminder of how to care for my husband. He is having 1 day a week of chemo for 3 weeks, then 1 week off for a duration of 6 months. I will be needing to do this every day, something I wasn’t aware of.
I hope he's treatment is going well, sending you good vibes. My mother-in-law has the same treatment cycle for her cancer.
why did nobody tell me this?
@@mindfortress105 if you’re a patient at Lakeridge Health receiving cancer care, we suggest you connect with a member of your care team for more information on all of the resources available to you. Otherwise, you can always connect with a member of our Person-Centred Care team at patientexperience@lh.ca. Thank you!
I’m a support worker and I’ve just come across this which is very alarming. I have not been taking precautions at all when cleaning my clients bathroom and bed sheets.
What risks am I exposed to?😮
God is on my side so grateful for it

But why this contaminated chemo drug body fluids shouldn't be come in contact with other person??? Plzz reply
Anything fluid comeout from the body of the person who having chemo generally we assume it as cytotoxic waste ( it contain the chemodrugs )...so it dangerous to other person ..
this apply only for 7 days after the treatment tho ...
Ok

What about saliva? If a mom cooks for her family and taste food as she goes and share with family members?
Saliva is a body fluid
@@polanca75 yeah I know, but I was trying to get my mother-in-law to believe me, but she didn't understand until she started to see her water bottle stain from every day usage. Thanks for replying though!
Can someone kiss a partner?
For me it need to be restricted / not to be allowed for at least that 7 days after the chemo treatment...after that shud be no problem...correct me if im wrong 😊
