    "Cobra Kai was always mine." Kreese.
    I think this line might be literal. It is very possible that Kreese actually inherited the leadership of the system from Master Kim. It would also explain another reason why Sensei Kim asked about Kreese first.

    I think it will be interesting if we find out Terry gets out of jail through extra benefits or something because he has been training the kids at the juvie Robby was at from the time Kreese recruited him in collaboration with the officials (no one in the show and audience knew) and those kids join Cobra Kai. He can somehow come up with some lie that Stringray trespassed and that's why he was assaulted. The season can start with Johnny, Barnes and Chozen getting arrested for trespassing and then somehow get bailed out.

      Terry silver might get off on a few charges with that “stingray trespassed” bullshit but silver also TOLD stingray to lie about it ON CAMERA so he might not get away with it as easy, the worst that could happen to silver is what would happen if other inmates find out he framed kreese by paying stingray to snitch on him but that’s only if silver can’t afford to bail out of prison,

      Not like he’s gonna take back Cobra Kai because it technically always belonged to KDE and Kreese. He’s a side character at this point, and if he tries anything it likely put him back in jail for good or he gets his ass kicked again.

  • @Rocky.Slobber
    @Rocky.Slobber Год назад +29

    I get the feeling that season 6 will focus heavily on Kreese. Just because his talks with the psychiatrist in jail were manipulation doesn't mean there wasn't some modicum of truth. We could see heavy emphasis on Kreese, his background, his relationship with Kim Da Eun, and ultimately an attempt to make peace with Johnny and a redemption, or at least growth.
    This could pull in Johnny as he would rather focus on the baby not fighting.
    KDE never is shown going beyond no mercy into the unhenged Kreese/silver world, she may not be crazy. She could be the catalyst for helping Kreese, but this implies that the Fist is not the big enemy. I think reformed, morally gray Kreese/KDE team with MiyagiDo against the big enemy which may or may not involve Silver.

    • @bertatafel1938
      @bertatafel1938 Год назад +1

      Kreese lost his redemption when he broke out of jail. That therapy was to help him see the errors of his ways since Kreese turned hard, unfeeling and unforgiving after his girlfriend died in a car crash and was on dark path after Johnny's lost to Daniel and Barnes was defeated in a plan from Silver to restore Cobra Kai

    Very good ideas and thoughts WP! I gonna add some:
    John Kreese:
    His theraphy session was there for something. I dont think it was all hot air. That means his story isnt over yet. Some people think he will stay evil forever, but the final dialog in the theraphy sesson gives me more and more a hint he will become good in the end.
    Remember:
    Theraphist: "You can be a better person as you have become. Its locked up deep inside of you."
    And then the young Kreese tells the old Kreese: "You only have to find him!", basically he tells him: "You have to find me, your real self, the real John Kreese, the man who "died" in 1968 when the love of life, Betys died." Kreese burried all of his emotions after Betsys death and the encounter with his Commander Turner also had a negative influence on him.
    There is one thing missing to "unlock" his old self, and we gonna see what it will be. I have a suspicion but i wont share now.
    What is one of the main goals of the writers:
    Honestly: I think they want to close the CObra Kai show with one final mission, one final thing that has to be resolved. And this is the end the never ending rivalry between Kreese/Cobra Kai vs Daniel/Miyagi-Do/Mr. Miyagi.
    I personally have a dream scenario in my head who could do this, and it is connected to that "thing" which will lead to Kreese unlock his former self.
    Only so much: Since the character Tory Nichols was created for Season 2, and it was Season 2 when Kreese really came into play, it is imo at least possible Tory was only created by the writers for one reason: She will be the key in the end to bring the old Kreese back, the man who he was before Betys died.
    Never forget: All events in the Cobra Kai show are basically only because of this never ending "war" between Cobra Kai and Miyagi-Do.
    The major representant of CK is its founder John Kreese (not Silver!), and the major representant of Miyagi-Do in the US is today Daniel since Mr. Miyagi is gone since 2011.
    What so many dont realize: Kreese was even the major reason why Tory became so agressive and dark in Season 2 and 3. He used her anger towards Samantha and literally built her up as his personal weapon against Sam.
    Yes, Kreese hates the whole LaRusso family. He respects Amanda because of her mental toughness, but he sees the LaRusso family as his enemy. He himself knew he was too old to "fight" the teeny Samantha, Danies daughter, he always calls her "the LaRusso girl", like he always calls Miguel "the Diaz kid", he doesnt like these two very much, he wantet Robby to hate Miguel, and wanted Tory to hate Samantha, and in late Season 3 until the end of Season 4 he build up Robby and Tory literally as his weapons against Miguel and Sam.
    You saw it again in Season 5: Kreese still considers Daniel and Miyagi as his enemy. HE tried anything to get Johnny free from Daniel, he dislikes so much that his "son like" student Johnny is befriend with his "enemy" Daniel, who was in his opinion responsible for Johnnys and his own demise in 1984.
    He simply doesnt get it to this day that neither Daniel or Miyagi were ever his or Johnnys enemy, like in a war. They were rivals and opponents, yes, but not enemies.
    Rivals and opponents are fighting in a fair competition, while enemies fight usually in a brutal war, like today Russia vs Ukraine.
    About the future of Cobra Kai Dojo:
    Never forget Cobra Kai is only a creation from John Kreese. He created this name after his fight with Commander Turner. The fighting style of Sunyung was not Tang Soo Do, but some own method. Kreese hired Silver and made him the co-founder, but Cobra Kai is not even the name of the fighting style of Master Kim Sunyung.
    Never forget: The All Valley kids began Karate at the age of 16 or 17, only Sam started as young girl. So its only realistic Daeun has in Korea some students who trained at Sunyungs Dojo since they were little kids. Remember Sensei Blondie to Chozen: "I trained in the Sunyung Dojo my whole life!".
    So we can assume Daeun has students in Korean who are most probably as strong or even stronger as the Valley kids, even if the are "our" heroes.
    So i have not much doubt some of the Valley kids will suffer terrible losses in the Sekai Taikai.
    Daeun honestly hinted already to Silver Tory is not as strong as her strongest students in Korea. She said Tory is no leader besides being the best girl in Cobra Kai, and she told Silver there is muchc place for imiprovement. So maybe she has female students in Korea who would whipe the floor with Tory, Sam or any other girl fro the Valley.
    Sekai Taikai:
    Some ppl think definately the Valley kids will win there. Sure, should they have a girls and boys division, maybe one of the boys (Miguel, Robby, Hawk, Demetri) or one of the girls (Sam, Tory, Devon) will win, but it will be difficult to sell a story when two kids from one Valley in the USA (Los Angeles) win the boys and girls division of a tournament with such a competition, facing boys and girls wo do Karate since they were 5 or so.
    Thats enough for now WP. But if you ask me, one of the major goals or Jon, Josh and Hayden is to create a scenario that will end this never ending rivalry between John Kreese and Mr Miyagi, who is represented by Daniel since Miyagi himself passed away.

In the process after Kreese's escape he realizes that he has to make amends with Johnny and by sacrificing himself for Johnny and his new family and especially his prodigy, that would be a great start to the season. It would be fun if Silver and Kreese settled in a fight. Then goes against Daniel and Jonny together. For both Kreese and Silver, it's personal now. And in my opinion, Daniel and Jonny deserve it. Silver never encouraged his students what we saw to do stupid things like Kreese did in Season 3 and he gave Daniel the chance to bury the fight between them. Daniel and Jonny pulled an ugly trick on Kreese to get him to give information about Silver, they're supposed to be better than Cobra kai, which they certainly weren't at that moment.

    I like to think that what ever new students cobra kai will get will be fight with the miyagi fangs before hand. The Miyagi fangs don't just lose they are beaten and broken. Some might even lose the will to fight. I have been rewatching clips from the dark knight rises and seeing batman lose to bane,regain the strength fight,and defeating Bane in a rematch makes me hope for a similar scenario. Since Tory has beef with Kim already I think she will be beaten and broken by one of her students before the tournament. After moping around for a bit she gets some encouragement to regain the resolve to fight and using all she has learned from Johnny,Kreese, Daniel, Chozen and possibly Mike she will be able to defeat this opponent in the tournament.

    You could argue that within the Karate Kid Movie trilogy separate from Cobra Kai, Karate Kid Part 3 is the Rocky 4 of the series.
    Karate Kid 1 is basically a mix of Rocky 1 and 2(Since Daniel wins)
    Karate Kid part 2 ups the stakes like Rocky 3
    Then Karate Kid Part 3 ups the stakes even more with Cobra Kai/John Kreese’s revenge, Terry Silver and a Ivan Drago type teen in Mike Barnes.
    I would introduce 2 new Mike Barnes type teens, one male, one female, that will terrorize the school, specially Miyagi-Fang and are hired by Cobra Kai as revenge.
    The male will cause Miguel and Robby to bond even more while Sam and Tory finally become friends.
    Even have them mess with the Sam/Miguel and Robby/Tory relationships.
    This will add even more stakes to Sekai Taikai.

      IMO, Season 6 should be the end, as there's not many places the show can go after an international tournament. Cobra Kai needs to be defeated once and for all. @@TheJohnnyCotts I agree that season 6 is where it should end. I don't agree with the how though. Kreese gets defeated but Cobra Kai doesn't.
      In losing Kreese would get what he wants, Johnny returns and is able to force Kreese out permanently (maybe he dies and gives it over to Johnny).
      It then becomes what Silver had intended it to be, but not in the way he wanted. Johnny and Daniel would become O Sensei's. We then would have Robby, Tory, Miguel, Sam, Hawk, and Demetri in place where (depending on story arcs and character development) they would have the choices of having their own dojo.
      Forever changing Cobra Kai "I want Cobra Kai to be better" so Johnny would get what he wants. Daniel would get what he wants as well, no longer having to worry about a dojo teaching kids to be a bunch of assholes. Instead a dojo that teaches kids how to control and use their aggression when needed, and have the power to stop bullying in its place.

    Season 5 was very satisfying.
    I agree with the tournament college funding characters like Miguel and Tory.
    Sam and Tory will rival a bit, but mend into friendship for Season 6 and I see Tory taking her talents to MiyagiFang in alliance with Sam. Julie may appear an influence the girls, especially Tory. Julie maybe against Kim.. Kim will be the antagonist especially between Tory, Sam, Devon, and maybe Julie Pierce.
    Johnny and Carmen will marry, and have the baby at the end of the season. Johnny and Kreese will finalize, Kreese may actually change because of Johnny this time. The finale, Kreese actually may see through his son figure the error of his ways and defend him against Kim or any other antagonist. A stretch, but a finale of the series, it may call for it because Johnny may get his soul back from his son figure, Johnny.
    I feel Sam will win the major tournament since Tory won the Valley and she is the female legacy of Daniel, but has hybrid of Johnny as well. I see Devin coming as runner up in something. Tory may or may not place… I see them putting Tory as injured somehow (karmic from her past in Cobra Kai) but she remains supportive of Sam and Devin.
    Robby will win the major tournament since Miguel and Hawk won the Valley, showing he finally curved his anger and he is heir to Johnny as the new Karate Kid with hybrid of BOTH Johnny and Daniel.
    To me, Robby is the most talented and diverse of the Karate Kids in Cobra Kai.

    I don't agree that training for the Sekai Takai isn't suspenseful enough. I mean, Goku didn't have any big bad villains to overcome in his first world tournament. That and the training leading up to it was more than enough, because tournament arcs are amazing, we are eager to see who really is the best, how high can they go and what lessons they will learn throughout. You don't really need a big villain to create conflict or suspense. Martial arts is not about fighting to defeat others, it's about fighting to defeat yourself.

    Wow, I feel like the show is going to go with about a dozen of their best fighters for the Sekai Takai, and there will be lots of conflict for Devon Lee. Devon will be torn on whether to stay with Master Kim Da Eun, while trying to learn other styles and techniques so she has enough skills to become a champion. Miguel, Hawk, Robby would be one trio, while Demetri, Kyler, and Kenny would be another. Sam, Tory, and Devon would be a trio, and Piper, Aisha, and Sarah would be another. Then Julie Pierce and Dru show up, along with Mike Barnes revealing he is Tory's father. Brandon and Carmen's baby will be enemies, and Dru's past people will show up and maybe challenge Mitch, Chris, Nate, Bert, and Anthony along with some other students and Cobra Kai will prove to be and end with a Grand Finale Season, with new Relationships with Yasmine, Moon, Stingray, Amanda, and all of Daniels Past Girlfriends showing up, with Kreese, Silver, and Chozen. Epic! A combination of all the characters and background info on people past with less unsolved mysteries and more with collaborations with other shows! The Directors and managers of the show thing big, and hope fully, more actors!

    The central dilemma facing COBRA KAI at the beginning of Season 6 is the fact that Cobra Kai has literally become a fallen kingdom in desperate need of rebuilding, rebranding and resurrection before the Saika Taikai. How could the series writers bring Cobra Kai back in time ???

    • @chazarcola7639
      @chazarcola7639 Год назад +2

      1. Bring in LEO HOWARD as the lost, missing, unknown, disowned, rejected or abandoned son of Terry Silver who will serve as Cobra Kai's leading star fighter and become the key lynchpin around whom the other new karate students of the fallen dojo may enthusiastically rally around.

    • @chazarcola7639
      @chazarcola7639 Год назад +2

      2. KIM DA EUN AND THE FIST give sanctuary and enter into a secret alliance with the fugitive JOHN KREESE. They also might successfully persuade MIKE BARNES into rejoining Cobra Kai by granting him the bounty or reward originally promised by Terry Silver way back in KK3.

    • @chazarcola7639
      @chazarcola7639 Год назад +2

      3. Introduce new characters to fill the empty ranks of the fallen Cobra Kai dojo but to be played by known actors with an established fan base or built in audience empathy. JADEN SMITH could still join the series but he cannot portray Dre Parker from the new Jackie Chan version of The Karate Kid.
      LEO HOWARD's other castmates from "Kickin' It" such as OLIVIA HOLT, JASON EARLES, MATEO ARIAS, ALEX CHRISTIAN JONES AND DYLAN RILEY SNYDER could individually appear on separate episodes although not as their Disney counterparts but in recurring guest or cameo roles integral to the season 6 storyline. For instance, the actor who portrayed Bobby Wasabi in the Disney XD show can guest star in one episode as Stingray's dad.

Enter Hector. Hector looks for revenge because he runs into trouble with the police, causing him to lose everything. Hector finds where Miguel lives, he and some students go to California to try to completely and utterly ruin and destroy The Lawrence-Diaz family. We can definitely count on the writers skipping to the part when Kreese is in South Korea with Kim Da-Eun and helping her students prepare for the Sekai Taikai, kinda like when they skipped over to the part when Johnny and Robby were already in Mexico. While Kreese and Kim Da-Eun are obsessing with revenge, Johnny, Daniel, and Chozen are preparing their students for the tournament while enjoying their lives at the same time. Of course something major be going on in the Valley before the tournament. Most likely Miguel's dad will show up in the Valley to try to hurt Carmen and Rosa since he blames them for his exile from Ecuador.

Could he reappear in some kind of gambling or bribery scandal at the international tournament or a doping scandal.. There is also Tori's mother illness , would Tori not go to tournament because her mothers illness or death. That also brings up Tori's shady aunt.
    Another issue that seemed to disappear is both Tori and Robbie , were on Probation.
    All these issues could result in some of the major young students not being able to attend a tournament overseas.
    I will admit Johnny dropped a lot of references to Rocky 4 , perhaps this was a hint to viewers , could Dolph Lundgren be cast as a Sensei of a competing Dojo.

    Interesting perspectives, but let us view this logically. We know this is the last season for Cobra Kai, but we also know that the producers will leave something(s) open to allow for spin-offs of this series. We also know that the climax will be at the Selei Tekei tournament. My prediction is that everyone will believe that Silver is behind bars until he surprises everyone by leading a dojo he leads from South Korea into the tournament to face Miyagi-Do and Cobra Kai. Cobra Kai has to die, and will. Maybe Kreese is killed off or maybe he saves Johnny’s life, I don’t know. Maybe Johnny and Carmen’s baby is kidnapped, but by who? Hector? Silver? Kreese? Do these kids ever graduate? And who will represent in the tournament? Will Robby eventually win a tournament, especially after he lost to Miguel and Hawk? Or will Kenny continue to emerge as a force? Unless Mike Barnes has a son or daughter we didn’t know about, then maybe that child emerges onto the scene. Does Johnny and Daniel continue to compete at everything? Maybe they get into while playing mini-golf because Esch wants to beat the other so badly. Maybe Kenny’s brother makes his return, and who knows what can evolve from that. What happens to Stingray? Does Hillary Swank make her return as Sensei of another dojo called Miyagi-Do, creating friction? Does Chozen possibly become the Mr. Miyagi for someone we all he should be? Does Kenny still hate Larusso? Will Daniel’s son learn how to defend himself? Does Sam or Tory get pregnant? I think another dojo should emerge, even more ruthless than how Cobra Kai was run. And in this dojo will be Kenny and Kenny’s brother. Maybe this creates a new enemy that could be the beginning of a new spinoff. And maybe these kids may now begin teaching the next generation of youngsters. But, either way it should be exciting and interesting, and I look forward to the return of Cobra Kai.

    WATCHPARTY: Imagine if the Seiki Teiki Tournament actually takes place in South Korea or Okinawa & if that happens do you think that Sam, Miguel, Tory, Robby, Hawk and Demetri will meet six of Sensei Kim's students a few days before the tournament, getting into a fight with them (not hurting them before the tournament as they want them in good shape at the tournament but still instilling enough fear in them & torment in them)? Also, if Sam defeats Sensei Kim's top student (and in her students & Sensei Kim's eyes dishonors her by doing so) in the finals & therefore thwarts her plan to spread her grandfather's teachings, do you think that she & her student will want to take her own personal revenge against Sam by maybe wanting to kill her (like Chozen tried to do to Daniel in Karate Kid 2)? We see Kim Sun Young as an old man in 1980 training young Kreese and Silver, so it's possible that in his younger days, he lived through all these non-stop horrors, which led him to become embittered(like many other fellow Koreans, especially towards their former colonial Japanese overlords) and develop the philosphy that since the world is cruel and "never shows mercy" therefore, in order to survive, one must become tough and merciless in return.
    Sato may "dislike" him due to Japans gradual transition to peacetime, but Kim Sun Young(for obvious reasons) would've hated the Japanese with a passion/vengeance.
