Perfect timing, great video. I too was skeptical about the price, but when you spend that much on a smoker, you want it protected from the elements. I feel much better now about my recent order and looking forward to getting this cover!
I was almost as excited to get my cover as I am now knowing that my LSG 20x42 pellet smoker will be here in about a week! The cover came over a month ago and of course I had to check it out - it is really heavy duty! As the unfortunate owner of several lower quality grill covers in the past, I can already tell that this one is very well made and I expect it will last for a long time. Thanks for the video and I'm looking forward to seeing more from you!

I have the proof in the pudding story to tell you about Sunbrella material. I've had a Sunbrella cover on my Hasty Bake smoker for over 30 years. In the full sun!! It is still good and is just now showing some wear!
Good bull! I can personally attest to the water repellant properties of the material.
I ordered one at $389 when I ordered the 42” pellet smoker.
I just emailed grill wraps and asked them for a price quote for a cover for the 42” LSG pellet smoker.
We will see if it’s any cheaper to get it directly from them, as opposed to going through LSG.

They simply responded it’s more expensive to get it through them. Cheaper to order through LSG. To me that just means they made some deal with Lonestar where they promised to not sell it cheaper.

They don’t even have a cover big enough for my smoker at LSG. They gave me names of other people to contact that could custom make them for me.

The biggest turn-offs for me with this company are things like this. 400 bucks for a cover and a 300 bucks for a 10 inch strip of stainless steel as an add-on shelf. I'm not cheap at all and know what good things cost, but this just feels like anything but a value add. I skipped buying their Santa Maria grill even though I really wanted it for this reason, and just bought something else. For this pellet grill I will probably just grit my teeth and suck it up. Even with the crazy 400 bucks to deliver from Houston to here in Austin and all the rest of the hidden costs of entry. Grrrrr....
Well, the cover is a custom cover and made from the best material there is. Comparatively. the cover for a new Timberline XL is $200 and is mass-produced over-seas along with all the grills, which costs $1500 more than this one. I can't speak to the shelf other than it's hand made. I didn't need it. The shipping is just expensive. I picked mine up from the Dallas area and it cost me at least $180 in fuel! The things weigh over 500 lbs and are packaged VERY well. It doesn't come in a cardboard box.
