Bravery and great skills. Bless the Mom and her babies.
Watched this with my children over breakfast. 😆 Can't wait to get our herd going.
“How rude!” 😂 As a mom of 6 natural births I can say with confidence this is a recurring theme! 😂
Oh how cute !! There is nothing cuter than baby goats ! Thank you for sharing! Blessings to you all!
My 1 first freshener this year decided all of a sudden she hated the milk stand and refused to get up there. Finally after several days she decided eating was most important. Easy to milk. I am grateful for that.
They are a lovely colour. Sat here laughing at how Winnie has gone from 'Run away from Human' to 'Ma'ma, I'm here, pay me attention!' 😂
Isn't that so funny!? Total transformation!
Two beautiful boys!!! Breezy did a great job! Those are some big boys!! That beautiful udder kinda hinted at what she was hiding in there. 😂 Thanks so much for sharing and stay safe!🙏❤
Yes I saw her udder and just KNEW we were in for more boys haha
They are both beautiful boys.
They are super cute. I meant to weigh them
Congratulations on a another awesome kidding season ..❤❤
It's been a buckling season, but maybe the Fall Season will bring more doelings into the herd. So happy they're all healthy and have had no serious trauma with the Mommas either. I noticed how quiet Breezy was when in active labor with #1 (Gopher) and maybe because it was easier than pushing out backwards #2 (Elf) because she was letting everyone know he was being difficult by how loud she was. And what a relief Breezy is showing to be not only a wonderful Momma, but also having a gorgeous, easily milkable udder! I could see the relief on your face when you started to milk her - And it made me smile, too. Congrats on a successful and healthy Spring kidding season!
Havoc udders are my absolute favorite to milk. I love what he can do. Her udder is a little low hanging and could use better attachment, but that's why we bought Nefarious. I need to cross him into the mini program at some point to really make our udders all around great!!
Yay...I got to see the birth of both sweet baby boys...So Precious. And I adored the lip curl she was giving. Both Bucklings are absolutely Cute.
She is a beautiful goat ❤❤❤
Absolutely LOVE Gopher and Elf!!! It was awesome to watch their birth live and again today reliving the moments. Breezy did so well. Thanks for sharing these precious moments with us Heather!!!!

You betcha!! ♥♥
Congrats on the new boys! What a good mama!
What a CUTE couple of bucks!
Slow but steady progress, we were all hoping for doelings for your first F2 kidding but at least it was a good kidding and you can see how Breezy freshens with her udder development, etc. She does look like she'll be a great dairy goat too. The bucklings look very healthy and was nice to see how the Breezy/Feral pairing went! It really is powerful to see how typical seasons can vary a lot year to year, and how to bounce back and adjust to the outcomes. Really do appreciate that perspective you share. Lots more wonderful things coming up with garden season and then fall kidding season. Maybe some more F2 pairings there! 💚💚
Yes I am thrilled to put feral over Elpis' triplets This fall, They are Grade level Minis, so not even F1 yet technically because of Christine's paper loss situation which was a headache. Mini Lamanchas need to have 90% of their pedigree known and filled out in order to start the F1-F6 train!
Yay! New babies arriving!❤
Beautiful babies!
Beautiful boys!❤❤
I love the names. So fitting. lol. ❤❤❤
Congratulations! Beautiful boys! Greatful mom and babies are all doing well! Blessings on your day Kiddo!🌻🐛Carolyn in Ohio 🌿
I love your goat videos! They just make my day and get me excited for kidding season next spring! ❤
The boys are beautiful 😍
Aw, they're so precious. Wrong parts, Breezy! Her deflate-ability looks perfect though. If she can settle in I bet she'll be one of those "pleasure to handmilk" does.
Which is something I want for my fall and winter milkers because I don't like to deal with the milker in the cold and mud. I will have to watch her to see if she cycles through summer and thinking about holding her over to breed for fall kidding 2025.
Love and hugs with prayers
How fun. And how different every doe and kidding is. My Esmarelda is the loudest girl I have when she's in heat, like doesn't shut up for 24 hours, yelling even in the night. Friday she had 3 doelings and hardly made a peep! Like a couple little grunts and bam there was a kid. I was just thinking about that this morning. How some of my other girls last year really yelled and carried on while they were pushing and how quiet Es was.
Breezy's mom Talia doesn't make noise when she kids either!! Craziness!
Those boys are so cute! Thanks for taking video of them!!
You bet!!
Breezy’s udder looks awesome!
She could use better attachment of that big udder but that's why we bought Nefarious :)
Cute babies, wish I was where I could have goats instead of nosy neighbors😊
Congratulations on the new babies! My oldest doe 7 had a baby buck I was sure she was having twins but no further activity. After several hours she acted as if she was done. At the end of the evening she was resting. Next morning I went out and surprise😮 a baby doe up and eating. I was so happy wanted a doe from this heavy milking doe. Call baby Joyful Noise.
Woah!! I'm so glad the doe was alright!!
Love the name!! 😊
Breezy done wonderfully ❣
Beautiful baby boys.
It seems half the babies are buckskin babies or am I wrong. Anyways they are beautiful 🎊🥳🎉
Yes Havoc himself is buckskin and from what I hear that's a dominant trait as well as gold. Looks like Buckskin wins when we cross breezy and Feral!
Lucky you were there to help 😃
Eventually baby may have kicked his legs back properly but who knows! ❤️🐐❤️
Those boys are really pretty, I like that cream and black combo! Am I crazy or are they super close to being twins? outside of the ears, they look A LOT ALIKE to me!
They technically are twins just not identical :)
Yay!!! They are so cute. I’m so glad everything went well. We have one mama left to go and I’m waiting on her anytime now.
Best wishes for the finale of kidding season on your farm!!
@@SageandStoneHomestead Thank you!
❤❤❤
2 new little baby's so sweet
!! I love the winter hat you made girl I wish I knew how to knit. I have a book and some yard I got like 3 months ago and I placed it next to my recliner chair and it's been sitting there. I went threw the book and it's for beginners. The book teaches you how to knit little stuffed bunny's and bears, and frog and a sheep. I told my husband I will try to have something made by this weekend. When he works it's just me and the dog. I don't have friends and my parent's have passed away so I do get very lonely so I figured this knitting will help my depression and loneliness ❤❤
Hugs, Diana!! Knitting and crochet are awesome, I'm glad you've got a book to help teach you!
❤
Bucklings here too. 16 kids so far, and only 3 doelings❤
😱
Ugh whyyyyy. It happens. Not fun!!
Awesome video! My IPP boarling arrives in 2 days, and I’m already thinking about goats 😂
I love it!!
Of course she had 2 boys 😮! Aghhh! Athene surprised me a week ago, and now I’m holding on to hope for Evie to give me a girl 😝 FF… I get excited for their doeling potential… but they do whatever 😂 😂
They are sooo cute though, I was reading about Swiss and buckskn combo, idk it’d they would be qualified as that, but I read they can never throw a black baby? Genetics is something I don’t get but I thought it was interesting, pattern somehow affect that? Weird!
Good job Breezy!
At first I though they were some variation of swiss but they appear to be full buckskin with red cheeks. So darned cute!!
Feral's mom is a swiss!
@@SageandStoneHomestead sooo cute!
Do the Daddy’s ever get to see or be near their babies?
No they don't know or care, really.
Can you make or refer me to a video that explains your goat set up! I want my babies to be as safe as possible so I’ve had them on tethers so far but I want to build them a pasture setup so they can roam and graze❤️
I haven't made a video on that specifically yet I don't think! I'll add that to the list!
@@SageandStoneHomestead thank you so much!!
Pretty momma and pretty boys. Such a buck heavy year is so hard. Is it hard to find homes for them in your area?
It's not hard to sell them here, at least for me. Especially when you are willing to sell them to people looking for meat, but those people don't buy babies so we sometimes grow them out and sell them live to buyers who butcher themselves. We butcher extras too and love goat meat!
@@SageandStoneHomestead love goat meat! Thanks!
Such beautiful boys!!
I have a question, do you ever just get burned out from this lifestyle? I am a homeschooling wife who takes care of our garden and animals, but I'm feeling overwhelmed. I've also had plans to sell animals and have had people stand me up and not like something happened but intentionally telling me they were there and never were. Then on top of everything we have goats coming to our farm Sunday. Maybe I'm just going through a phase...I guess I just need some reassurance/ advice.
I get a ton of help and support from my husband so I don't ever find myself so overwhelmed that I consider quitting anything. It's usually a stress relief to go do work on the farm. One thing we do with homeschooling though that helps immensely is we don't try to follow the schedule the public schools have. I school 4 days a week and I'll school through the hottest part of the day in summer so I can take of when it's really needed on the Homestead like kidding and hunting seasons. We also break up the day so part of it is when my husband is home. He oversees their evening reading time and usually thats when I'm editing videos. Email me if you want to chat! Sometimes I lose track of replies sageandstonehomestead@gmail.com
I really appreciate how you don’t hesitate to help them and describe what happening. Thank you for that.
Also is that still colostrum you’re milking and if so, do you freeze it for future babies or is it for drinking?
What I got out of her this day was all milk. The boys got the colostrum which is great. Colostrum is a little yellow and pretty thick. I saved lots of colostrum from Christine in the freezer since she only had 1 baby. :)
@@SageandStoneHomestead Thank you so much for your indulgence in answering my questions. 🥰
I have a question for you. Have you come across anything that would make a good, safe, collar for kids? I have a bunch of all white kids this season and I can't tell them apart! I had found some temporary kid collars on Caprine, but they are only good for a few weeks before the kids out grow them. I did not want to use a nylon dog collar because I free range my goats, the collars need to be breakaway. I just need some way to identify these white kids. 😄
The collars we have used are not breakaway, but I was comfortable with that myself as we have mostly open field.
Would you consider ear tags?
@@Julia_Teeker no probably not, we tattoo here. The collars are mostly for handling the milkers with and the beeper trackers for babies in the large field.
@@Julia_Teeker we are going to microchip everyone as well, a few goats already have a chip
@@Julia_Teeker I will be putting in Scrappies tags. Didn't really want to do an ID tag. But unless I can find a good breakaway, I may have to.
You had a buck year this year so that automatically means doe's next year. 🤞🤞🤞🤞🫣🫣🫣🩷🩷
