I am enjoying my custom order 2024 Expedition Limited w extras .. did not want that giant screen while driving and so glad I do not have it . Driving on the open Road much more pleasant without that big electronic device .. my husband who still has his diesel Excursion fits in it well, too. And the 100 lb dog can get right in!

Stay away from ford expedition 32,000 miles and it needs $4,500 in a/c work. Plus there is a recall on the turbo.

@jasonseiders3028 My Dad's friend has the exact same truck he had the problem before the recall and he took it in. The ford dealership said oh they are supposed to sound like that he lost a bunch of power on a trip so he took it in when he was out of state and when he got back. SO YES IT IS A PROBLEM WHEN YOU CUT A TRIP SHORT AND THEY DENY IT ! ! ! YOU SPEND $75,000.00 ON A TRUCK AND THEY SHOULD OF MADE A PIECE FOR THE TURBO OUT OF METAL BUT THEY WANT TO SAVE A BUCK SO THEY MAKE IT OUT OF PLASTIC. IT COST THEM MORE MONEY IN THE LONG RUN. BUT GO AHEAD AND ENJOY YOUR FORD I WILL NEVER BUY ONE. FOUND ON ROAD DEAD PIECE OF **** ! ! !

All new vehicles are sh*t, unfortunately. Even the new v6 Tundras are pieces of crap with defective engines, apparently. It's a sad reality, so you just gotta learn to work on these things yourself 🤷‍♂️ I've put about $4.5k in parts and maybe 3 weeks of collective work into my 2016 f150 over the 8 years of ownership. It's close to 150k miles and I can't complain. Never left me stranded, but it just needs some love every now and then. Definitely not thinking of buying a newer one, though, too much unnecessary crap that will eventually break. This advice isn't good for everyone, but for those who can do it, should. A/c systems are laughably simple and easy to service with a handful of specialty tools, and the turbos on the 3.5 are super easy to get to without pulling the cab/body off the frame.
