Ac ഉണ്ടെങ്കിലും ഇല്ലെങ്കിലും air hole ഉള്ളതാണ് നല്ലത്. False ceiling ഉണ്ടെങ്കിൽ air hole അല്പം താഴ്ത്തി വെക്കാം, false ceiling ഇല്ലെങ്കിൽ വാർക്കയോട് ചേർന്ന് തന്നെ air hole വെക്കണം. എങ്കിലേ കെട്ടിടത്തിലെ ചൂട് നന്നായി കുറയുകയുള്ളു. അതോടൊപ്പം ഒരു side ഇൽ ഒരു air hole ന് പകരം ചെറിയ രണ്ട് എയർ ഹോൾ (minimum 1 അടി ) ആണ് air circulation ന് നല്ലത്. എയർ ഹോൾ ഉണ്ടെങ്കിൽ ഫാൻ ഇടാത്തപ്പോഴും air circulation നടക്കുന്നതിനാൽ കെട്ടിടത്തിലെ ചൂട് വളരെ കുറയും. ഇപ്പോൾ ആവശ്യത്തിന് close ചെയ്യാ വുന്ന air hole closers ഉം കിട്ടും.This is my opinion.

ഞാൻ എന്റെ വീട്ടിൽ എവിടെയും എയർഹോൾ വെച്ചിട്ടില്ല. എന്റെ തൊട്ട് അടുത്ത വീട്ടിനെ അപേക്ഷിച്ച് എന്റെ വീട്ടിൽ ചൂട് വളരെ കുറവാണ്. സത്യത്തിൽ എയർഹോൾ കേരളത്തിൽ മാത്രം ഒരു ആചാരം പോലെ ആളുകൾ പിന്തുടരുന്നതാണ്. അല്ലാതെ അതിൽ ഒരു കാര്യമില്ല 😂 കേരളത്തിലേക്കാൾ ചൂടുള്ള വിദേശ രാജ്യങ്ങളിലും ഇന്ത്യയിലെ മറ്റ് സ്റ്റേറ്റുകളിലും ആരും ഇതൊന്നും വെക്കാറില്ല. അതുകൊണ്ട് പ്രാണി പല്ലി പോലുള്ളവയുടെ ശല്യവും മാറാല കൊണ്ടുണ്ടാവുന്ന ബുദ്ദിമുട്ടും ഇല്ല.. ഹാപ്പി

Pipe air hole അടക്കുവാൻ ഉള്ള എളുപ്പവും രസകരവുമായ ഒരു ഐഡിയ ഞാൻ എന്റെ cousin ന്റെ വീട്ടിൽ കണ്ടിരുന്നു. അവർ ചെയ്തിരിക്കുന്നത് interior wallന്റെ same colour ൽ ഉള്ള sponge balls (marketൽ സുലഭം) വാങ്ങി തിരുകി വെച്ചിരിക്കുന്നതാണ്. Ball ന്റെ diameter ഏകദേശം 2 ഇഞ്ചിൽ അല്പം വലുത് ആയിരിക്കണം എങ്കിൽ അത് correct fit and air tight ആയി ഇരുന്നുകൊള്ളും. ✌️

Never try to avoid air holes. It will be foolishness if you avoid air holes. Even though the room is A/C , air holes helps to admit fresh air without much temperature loss. Air hole covering with mosquito net is available in market for rectangular openings or circular pipe openings. Air holes are must for Kerala climate
