    Halfmoon Bettas are the prettiest among all betta variants. It is distinguished by its long rounded tail that expands to a 180 degree semi circle when fully flared. Nemo Galaxy Halfmoon Bettas are exquisitely colored, which makes it a perfect blend of beauty and aggression.
    Double Tail Betta:
    Double Tail Betta has a striking, elaborate tail that differentiate it from other bettas. It has a split tail, almost giving suggestion of having two tails. They are available in almost every color. Females have shorter finnage as compared to that of males. Double Tail Betta Fish are not common as their offsprings have low survival rates.
    Betta Mahachaiensis(Wild Betta):
    Betta Mahachaiensis is a species of bubble-nesting fighting fish native to Thailand, where they occur naturally near the Gulf of Thailand. They inhabit stagnant waters in swamps, pools and ponds. They can also be found in brackish waters. They build their nests in fallen branches of palm trees. Betta Mahachaiensis was discovered very recently in 2012. Their existence in the wild is threatened due to habitat loss at a rapid rate.

    It is named after its elaborate flowing tailfin. The branching of the fin rays gives it a unique appearance. There is controversy that surrounds this fish, due to their poor swimming ability. However, Super Red Rosetail Bettas has long been the favorite among hobbyists.
    Over Halfmoon(Copper Black):
    The Over Halfmoon is an extreme version of a Halfmoon. The spread of the tail reaches over 180 degrees around the body. Over Halfmoon bettas tend to be more aggressive than the others. The copper black color compliments its combative character.
    Halfmoon Plakat:
    These bettas are considered the closest to bettas found in the wild. Halfmoon Plakats are similar to halfmoons, But they have shorter fins. They are active swimmers and are less prone to diseases. Halfmoon Plakats are extensively used for participation in betta shows.
    Fancy Startail Betta:
    The Startail Betta is a beautiful variant of the Halfmoon Plakat. Though this fish is not recognized as a separate kind, it certainly is a gorgeous fish to have. Startails are active swimmers with lots of personality. They are also one of the hardier kinds as compared to long-fin bettas.
    Crowntail Betta:
    Crowntail Bettas don't exist in the wild. They have been bred in captivity specifically for the hobby. The fish's tail fin is its most eye-catching feature which gives a crown-like appearance.
    Avatar Betta:
    Avatar Bettas are beautiful fish with rich and vibrant colors. Hobbyists created this name, as many people compared this color fish with the famous movie avatar. They come in blue, black or dark blue colors.
    Combtail Betta:
    Combtails are derived from breeding a crowntail and another finnage type. This is also called Half Sun Betta Fish. It has a spiky appearance. The edge of the fins looks almost like a comb. This could be easily confused with a crowntail. But the combtail has less extended spikes. They are a huge favorite among fish tank enthusiasts.
