SEER2 is a better energy efficiency rating that replaces SEER. It tests a mini split over a cooling season (about 3 months) rather than just dividing the capacity by power. Mini splits produce in 2023 onward will all be using SEER2.

Those poor outdoor units in tiny, cramped space was so painful to look at.
Indeed. That array shown at 9:12~9:16, likely wouldn't last a season as they'd run continuously with the stagnation of airflow/heat exchange..
That was from my previous project. In the end, they hacked and rebuilt the wall to accommodate the outdoor units.
