My mom has dementia.... She has lost her mom, asked 15 times who was in the coffin.... Her brother just committed suicide, couldn't get her to understand at ALL.... And sometimes I wish I didn't know those things as well.... I am SOBBING right now!!!! I'm sorry about your dad!!!!

Oh man. Can’t believe I didn’t see this until now. I’m completely with you brother and was crying right with you. My father passed away from this crap. So many parts of this video were exact things I went through with him before he passed away. Super powerful and moving.

My grandad had Parkinson's and didn't recognise any of us at the end, the older memories stay the longest. But thank you for posting this or i wouldn't of listened to this song, while i do like staind they aren't at the top of my list. Give your dad a hug and maybe take a picture of the young him, with your mum and a younger you in to show him.x

Grandfater died from Alzheimer's complications, gradmas is currently getting hit hard by dementia, and my moms showing early earning signs. Yea i i cry my eyes out at this vid

Lost my grandma to Alzheimer, so this hits me right between the eye. Happy to have Staind back, funny enough,. it was one of the bands that kept me going, throughout the darkest days in my life and for that I'm grateful.
I found out in an interview that he recently did that when he went to the doctor the doctor said Arron has some of the thickest vocal chords any doctor has even seen

Alzheimers is fu**ed. I lost 3 grandparents to it, one just recently and I hadn't seen him in years so couldn't say goodbye. This song is amazing and brought so many tears to my eyes. I miss my great grandpa, grandma, and grandpa.

My dad passed, but my mom remains, sort of, she's suffering from dementia and this song hit me like a haymaker from Tyson, in a good way, music is meant to be powerful, and Staind really struck a chord with millions of people on a very personal level. To me this is what i`ve felt like for the last 16 years when I ruined a great relationship due to being an immature, selfish mess, it took me years to stop destroying myself and own up to being the reason that an almost perfect partner left me...

Not fuck your video bro! Your video was awesome! I will always have a connection with this song! I hope I get the honor to meet Aaron one day before I die!! I couldn’t see my daughter for 2years heard this song and cried and broke down! Then one week later I was able to see her face to face and it was very emotional for both of us! Thing that sucks about my situation is she is not biologically mine raised her since she was 2 and just turned 15!! And she saw the broken lies and shattered truths and realized it wasn’t me and her mother was standing in between us and making me out to be the bad guy! Been a few weeks now and we’ve talked everyday so far! I heard this hours after it came out and this song and video crossed my path for a reason and lead me back to my daughter!! 🥰🥰🥰❤️❤️❤️ keep it up your doing great
