Currently this is my car here in UAE. Good car for daily driving. Petrol consumption is 8-10L/100km its either city drive or highway. I have 26k kilo meter on the dash. So far no problem in engine even its rebadge. You can feel the turbo hit at 2k rpm.
How many L on highway? Doesn’t it get hot in the second row since the vents are located at the bottom and also how’s the temperature at the third row since there are no vents there
@@leandrorivera5932 On highway its consume 8-9L/100km (12-13km/L). In 2nd row AC distribution is fine because the blow of front AC but dont expect to much because the power of AC is not like the AC in front. In 3rd row you need to buy portable fan to blow the AC in the third row.
I love my 2010 Diesel AWD Captiva kahit mejo may mga issueh hehe. kasi maganda idrive, 7seater, all flat floor pag ifold mga upoan natry ko kargahan mga hahabang materials kasyang kasya, malakas makina nya bagay dito sa Cordillera. yun nga lang kasi nag stop production agad kaya bihira parts nya at medyo mahal konti. for now Chevrolet should maintain a good flow of their parts para hinde mahal, nagiging mahal parts pag konti lang kasi. for sure Chevrolet learned from their shortcoming, and this time it will be good enough
this is my car here in the middle east I would say it's very practical car. very straight forward na car yung tech nya is yung magagamit mo tlg pang araw araw hnd yung gimik lang na di mgamit..
Our first vehicle was a very old Chevy Venture ❤ Though Chevy is not really known for its reliability, I am still rooting for the brand 🙏 Love that Captiva ❤
While both are great options, I can't deny that the Chery seems a bit more upscale and looks more like an SUV. I'd have to say that the Chevy has much more useable space, though and more practical if you want to put more stuff or people in it! -Roy
I'm guessing its reliable because its a rebranded baojun 530 much more reliable than a gm built mpv like our Chevrolet spin which seems to have a schedule of which part breaks🤣 and Chevrolet will be happy selling you that part 3 times the price🤣 avoid chevy at all cost.
The pricing on this and the features this has, this isnt American built and it bucks the typical GM strategy of being bad at globalization. As a MPV, its great.

Nice! How long have you owned the car?
About 3 years now.
Good to know that it's holding up well! - Roy

An MG Hector. It's been tried and tested on the roads of India, and all I can say is that this car is going to be reliable.

Definitely an option if you are looking for something different! - Roy
Rebadge Baojun 530 - Chinese car same similar as Ford Territory :)
Yep! Same spwc as the one sold in Mexico. GM has alot of great models in China, affordable too! I really hope they bring in more products here. -Roy

This car will definitely be one of our options when we upgrade hopefully next year. Thanks for the very informative review!
Hope to see you in one soon! - Roy
its called the mg hector here in india and Baojun 530 in china
How's the air conditioning system on the 3rd row?
no aircon vents at the 3rd row
You forgot to slide the seat of 2nd row. May be you will be fit.
rebranded china mpv, at that price point, might as well go straight to direct china brands such as gac / jetour with better features and support

I think the only GMs we have here made in the USA are the Camaro and the Suburban. The rest of the lineup are either Chinese or Korean. -Roy

Wuling Baojun vehicles are known to be affordable and very reliable that's why its the most profitable and best selling vehicle brand in SAIC GM line
