@@mundanestuff They hit for sure, jeep is prone to roll over because of height, but airbags already deployed means they hit the rear of the other vehicle, hard, and were launched up from the side by that impact. Likely wheel hit the other car on the side, and rode up it.
That's a trick drivers try hard to pull off at demolition derby events!
Fun fact about Istanbul and stray dogs and cats: Istanbul has a policy that protects those animals. Feed and water stations are set up around the city. They get wellness checks, vaccinations, spay/neuter, and emergency medical services. There are vending machines where you put in your plastic water bottle as payment and food drops down into a bowl. If you have water, you pour it into the machine, it filters it, and pours it into a bowl at the bottom. People build shelters and also feed the animals.

I haven’t driven since 2021 in June since my husband, sudden death I wanted to make sure that I had my wits about me and it’s taken quite a long time because it was such a shock to system that I couldn’t stop shaking. Now it’s insured and I’m ready to start driving again. I’ve been watching videos on car accidents for the past year and it’s taught me so much more about what to watch out for so I feel grateful that these videos have taught me so much about bad drivers. When towing, make sure you cross safety chain. If hitch disconnect, the chain will form a cradle preventing trailer hitch from scraping the ground and should give more control. Also make sure chain is as short as possible.
At least that driver had chains on, seen plenty who do not. Yes have had the chain save my bacon.
The problem with light duty ball hitches is that many times they are just left sitting for months on end out in the weather. This causes corrosion (rust) to form, which can possibly weaken the lock mechanism. It is a good idea to utilize that little hole in the lock latch by putting a bolt and nut, or a carabiner through it so it cannot open itself from vibration while bouncing down the highway.
@@Procrastinator1948 By me the most common form of trailer hitch is firmly attached to the vehicle, not something you can remove without a few minutes and some tools. All the same 50mm ball hitch as well, a standard that all trailer manufacturers have. Otherwise it is a plain pin and loop, and not allowed on public roads, unless attached to a tractor and doing under 20kph. Anything else and it is a fifth wheel, and very few light commercials have a fifth wheel, aside from those with large trailers, that move around things like styrofoam, foam and mattress units.
Had a farmer named Joe Little try to run me over with a trailer that broke off his tractor coming down a hill while I was standing in my front yard, I was saved by an Oleander bush. (No chains). That was at Little's Lower Farm.

@@volvo09 thank you. It’s custom built. My friends late father had it built to what he wanted. My friends mom sold it to me for $3,000’s and it had 71,000 miles on it. It’s got 104,000 miles on it right now. I do my own work on it myself. My father taught me to work on cars when I was 4yrs old. I found a way to get dirty without my mom getting mad at me lol

I’ve been watching for a while but I never subscribed and lost the channel, but I found it again last year and finally did! It’s surly help me stay out of accidents. My family has been looking to get dashcams because of this channel. I have personally only been in one accident (and it was super minor, I got rear ended but it wasn't even hard enough to cause any damage to either car) but I lost count a long time ago of the number of near misses I've had with crazy drivers. keep up the good work, love the videos! 0:55, almost done passing? He drove at the exact speed! That driver didn’t even try to brake. What stupid drivers… often worse than those who are at fault. Dashcam drivers show their stupidity by trying to avoid crashes in the worst possible ways.

WhamBam is my favorite dashcam channel. Love the clips, teaching me how to drive properly. As a 2002 Toyota Rav4 driver, I'd love to be able to capture some of the moments I see on the road everyday.
0:50 There is no car in front of you, and you should have passed the semi much quicker. Rmember, the less time you stay shoulder to shoulder with a semi, the safer. They have huge blind spots.
Don't blame the driver for the semi's stupidity.
@@XsaviXander I am not blaming the driver, it's called defensive driving. The semi would surely be found fault at this. What I am saying this could totally be avoided if the driver knows this rule.
@@XsaviXander It's not blaming the Tesla driver, but from the cam he looks to be over half way past the semi.
And it's not like Tesla's have an issue with putting 100% power to the wheels, and could have zipped past the truck even looks to have a couple of feet of a shoulder.
Would have been my choice before dumping my $100k car into the shoulder, and having zero recourse except out of pocket repairs.

Dear Larries of the world: if you're going to pass a semi, pass it. Don't spend more than a few seconds in their blind spot (which here we can define as "beside them"), especially when you can clearly see that they're approaching someone they're going to want to pass.
Yes. Larry is in a Tesla. He needs to find that juice pedal.
never mind the blind spots. those tire are inflated to 90-110psi. and see alot of road debris. a blow out can kill you. put the pedal down and pass.
Exactly my thoughts! Also, Larry have more than 1 pedal and he has the chance to slow down and avoid that for couple of seconds. Not a smart Larry.

It’s crazy I’ve been watching you for more and a year now and it started in class when I came across one videos and now I can’t stop watching, I’ve always loved watching accidents and this channel is my go to, I drive a 2022 Lincoln Aviator and is hoping on getting a dash camera, recently we got into a accident and we didn’t get any videos but we slid because of the ice and crashed the side into a guard rail we were only going 10mph because of bad weather conditions but keep up the good work and keep posting💕💕

I've had a dash cam in my vehicles since 2013, first in my 2011 Equinox, and now in my 2017 Explorer.
They have already more than paid for themselves with the multiple close calls and actual accidents I've captured, including two of my own.
I can't recommend dash cams enough to family and friends. They are helpful and invaluable.

Hi, new subrcriber! I just recently bought a 2020 ford escape to replace my 2014 chevy equinox that was totalled by a mother who had fallen asleep at the wheel and began driving in the wrong lane going around a bend. I did what I could to avoid it being a head-on collision, but our driver's sides smashed into each other. I always wish I would've had a dash cam, and I became obsessed with these kinds of videos after! Thankfully she fully admitted to falling asleep and took fault for the accident.
I've watched every single Wham Bam Teslacam and Dashcam video and the last video on this clip is probably my all-time favorite clip. As someone was also a car loving kid, I can only imagine how excited he probably was! We currently have two cars but only one has a dash cam. 2016 Honda Accord(that was recently reverse Honda bumped - I'm planning to send the clip in when insurance is settled) and a 2008 Toyota Corolla. Would be awesome to have a cam in each car!
