  • Seven United Nations special rapporteurs have warned that Palestinian people in Gaza are facing a “grave risk of genocide”. The statement signed by UN experts on sanitation, food, physical and mental health, refugees and racism calls for a ceasefire so aid can reach those in need. Speaking to RN Breakfast, one of the signatories, UN Special Rapporteur for the human rights situation in the Palestinian territories Francesca Albanese, said “There has been an escalation of violence, which has pushed us independent experts to be a strong voice warning against what might happen.”
