the video makes Blackwell dorms look smaller than they actually are, they are actually really roomy (doubles) , but I think the Units doubles have even more space

Love your videos man! They’ve been super helpful since I’m going to be attending berkeley this fall and would like to study computer science. I was wondering if you could maybe explain how competitive it is to be able to declare your major in CS I already know about the 3.30 gpa for lower division classes but what else goes into the process of applying to declare for your major? Are there a certain amount of students that are allowed in or is it just anyone who meets the gpa requirements?
I’d really appreciate any info because I’ve been looking and my findings have been inconclusive, thank you!
As long as you meet the GPA requirement you're in! Also there are some cases where people who are really close (3.2) and appeal get in too!

Adrian Munthe on campus housing is 1400-2000 ish a month per person for doubles and triples in dorms. Please for the sake of your sanity do not dorm on campus this video glorifies on campus housing!!! Blackwell is the only decent ish dorm and garden village is the only decent ish on campus apartment. Everything is always broken mmfkfkfjf don't live on campus please save yourself

Right across the street from campus (one minute walk), and it’s a seven minute walk if I want to get into the center of campus

This is not the best example of housing for students. Youre comparing Blackwell (the newest and best residence hall) vs a newer apartment building.... no hate but a disclaimer wouldve been cool for students who arent as fortunate. Both places look like youre paying a premium compared to what is available.
Most students end up in Unit 1 or 2, which in comparison, is complete shit. Triples are also more common in those halls.
And of course a social justice warrior just has to hate on an informative video

There is Foothill that is not possible to compare with Blackwell, and you are paying a very sinilar price for all of these. This is also applied to Unit 2, 3.Blackwell also costs about 14000 for the academic year.
