THANK YOU for not putting lame-ass music on your video! There are many great videos on RUclips but for some reason many of those uploaders seems to think everyone will enjoy their shiddy elevator music covering up and destroying their educational videos. I want to HEAR and FEEL the video and not some crappy music. A+ with your video! Very informative and I agree with others... vids like this should be absolutely mandatory before you get your license. Every car should also have dash cams front and rear. They can save a lot of headache down the road. Mine has paid for itself a thousand times over with all the crap I catch on video! And I live in small-town BFE. I can't imagine the crap you can catch on video in big cities!
The guy at 55:23 says he won the case! I edited the time stamp since clips were rearranged. No chance in hell, he literally rear-ended another car that had to slow down because that cop was standing in the middle of the road and 2 other vehicles had already stopped in front of the gray/blue Toyota.
I started watching this before I realized this was 4 hours long. The trouble with dashcam crash videos is you can't speed them up like a podcast because timing is key detail.
Thanks to this video I just ordered myself a dashcam. I've been wanting one and this helped me make the purchase. It will be delivered tomorrow. Too many crazy drivers out there.
This video is not only educational but makes me feel glad to have never been in an accident so far in my short 4 years of driving, plus having an accident on record as a 21 year old male wouldn’t look so good lol
When people are close behind you it is very hard to see people coming. You can only see them through the passenger side mirror which is very small on most cars.
Been watching a few of these last few days, great reminders. 2 days ago, near my house, since it hadn't rained a few weeks, drizzle, road damp in spots, apparently enough to lift oil, didn't really expect it. Heavy Burb, newer tires, still slipped a bit at corner...
I noticed something. Every driver who skids another car first goes to see how much damage there is to his vehicle. As a rule, he doesn't care about damage to another vehicle. That says a lot about a person. I always call the police. But the sight of the culprit after he lies to the cop, and then the cop is shown the video clip, is priceless. Great!
11:41 Shout out to that guy for checking his mirrors and turning his wheels so he didn't also rear end the car in front of him. I nearly missed a severe rear ending one time because I was still slightly rolling forward, and I turned JUST enough that the guy only clipped me instead of hitting me full on. Aaaaaalways be aware of your surroundings, folks. Even when you're parked or sitting still at a traffic light. Anything could happen, at any time. Always be checking and rechecking your mirrors!!
Problem with this idea is if his car had been hit harder he would have been fired out across the oncoming traffic rather than just rear ending the car in front, OK if they miss him, disastrous if they don't!
@@davedixon2068 That's a very good point. Considering it's a 'self-preservation tactic' though, he likely wouldn't have done that if there had been any oncoming traffic, since we tend to try and avoid as much pain as possible in the moment. Lol I was lucky when I was almost rear-ended that I didn't have any oncoming traffic cause it was a one-way street lol.
@@eyden1562 Ive seen both sides of this equation ,a car waiting to turn right across my front was hit from behind by a lorry which fired it straight along the road on its own side because the person driving had been taught to keep their wheels facing forward until they made the turn for this exact reason, I would not have been able to avoid them things had been different luckily everyone was OK. And in a different incident a car also waiting to turn right was hit from behind, fired across into the front of oncoming traffic which was a car towing a broken down car and me following, the rear ended car, tower and towee, and the original cause of the problem all smashed together and I managed to stop before hitting anything. Again all without injury so after that I have made a conscious effort to always leave my wheels in line with the road I'm on.
I 1000% agree. He was clearly trying to beat the traffic. I assume that he was supposed to turn into the parking lot. Plus he was going way too fast. If I were the adjuster I'd have fought tooth and nail to make it 100% the douchebag's fault.

Doesnt even matter if they rule 50/50, the cdl driver will most likely get it on his record as a driver. A crash that was easily avoided turned into a shit show.
Yeah the horn started a long time before the brakes. It's like someone driving into a tree and saying "I honked my horn but it wouldn't get out of my way!"

Both made mistakes. 13:06 That's why you aren't allowed to look at your phone while driving... 26:15 That's what those little (obligatory!) mirrors at the side of the car are for and this car definetly has those. 37:25 Very well organized after the crash! 1:30:30 The text is right, that was scary. 1:11:34 "... All involved were unarmed physically" Love the spelling mistake that essentially says everyone's arms were essentially removed by the accident. 😂🤣😂
😂😂😂🏆
They could have had concealed carry so all their arms were hidden from view lol
at least they got to walk it off
THANK YOU for not putting lame-ass music on your video!
Scrolled down hoping to see this.
55:23 for anyone looking for it from this comment (not sure if clips have been removed since the original comment was made) :)
@Julie Kolba Thanks. I was wondering where that clip was, and yes it looks like he edited the video.
0:22 I love the wombo combo. Can’t wait for that person insurance to be like you have to pay for 4 vehicle damages.
Four hours YAY 😍😍😍. Thank you for another great year of videos.
A “parking lot truck”?
Some of these descriptions are hilarious
6:21 When you choose to hit your horn first instead of the brake
i hate it when i get my hands mixed up with my feet
The POV driver is just dumb, like how can you not see a big ass semi making a turn. Had plenty of time to hit the brakes. He deserves it
5:30
Some people really thing honking the horn is gonna slow their car down lmao
Happy New Year everyone!! I'm watching this video all the way through XD. This is my favorite channel!!
(3:22:59) the little kid going ‘uh oh’ because he sees it happening and then the little ‘ouch’ afterwards, pure gold
legend has it the dude in the clip @10:30 is still let us know he hit a tire!
yo that dude drove that like a champ tho!!!
@@TheJahool he counter steered the shit out of that thing lol he did good
i’m confused, what tire?
I started watching this before I realized this was 4 hours long. The trouble with dashcam crash videos is you can't speed them up like a podcast because timing is key detail.
As a learner driver, these videos help with what to expect in an accident or intentional incident and such. I appreciate the uploads.
This is a driving « collegue » all by itself !
As a retired phone technician, we at least yearly had to review defensive driving practices. They've helped me immensely over the decades!
Thanks to this video I just ordered myself a dashcam. I've been wanting one and this helped me make the purchase. It will be delivered tomorrow. Too many crazy drivers out there.
This video is not only educational but makes me feel glad to have never been in an accident so far in my short 4 years of driving, plus having an accident on record as a 21 year old male wouldn’t look so good lol
i was in a crash that should have taken my life about 3 months ago now and im only 16 its scary as fuck (i wasnt the one driving btw)
Love how you give commentary so many leave you hanging.
4 hours best off.. WTF ... "Hell no, i am not going to watch THAT!" I'm three hours in right now....damn you Dashcam Lessons ! Happy New Year
@45min...... The little kid that bails is HILARIOUS! Smart kid.
1:08:42 R.I.P to the driver who got shot up. That shit is just depressing to see.
So sad!😳 💔
Watching these types of videos reminds me that I’m not as crazy as I thought I was.
The first clip, that Bojangles is really hard to get in and out of.
Screw it, make a right hand turn and do a u turn somewhere else.
@@mindyschocolate it's a blind hill in a 45 that people do 55 and there's a rear ending once a week. It's a nasty Bojangles anyhow.
@@swampwolf I see on google maps, its a 40 zone. did they just lower it?
2:54 that suv just kept on rollin and it made me think of forrest gump when he went for a run lmao
6:52 exactly the reason why you don't dart out into another lane without checking.
6:24 That shit is ridiculous. She had more than enough time to stop but was too worried about making sure she hit her horn for no reason.
Great!
Perfect timing for that radio ad at 6:49
#37 that said they didn't have a backup camera! 🤣🤣 You have EYEBALLS!!
20:35 dashcam driver: "I think I'll just crash right into them, even though I've seen them for three seconds"
I love your vids i bet they get better.
Can't believe the amount of red light runners , are people in that much of a hurry ? smh
This video highlights the dangers of road rage and the impact of reckless driving behavior.
11:41
Shout out to that guy for checking his mirrors and turning his wheels so he didn't also rear end the car in front of him.
Rule of thumb is a driver should check all mirrors every 4 seconds
@@jamesharris3061Oh 💯, and I do.
The closest I ever came to being rear ended, I avoided it the same way that guy did. Hence the shout out 😊👌 lol
Lol
I was lucky when I was almost rear-ended that I didn't have any oncoming traffic cause it was a one-way street lol.
Main thing I've learned from this channel is how many people listen to weird podcasts right before they witness or become part of an accident
5:11 I would have contested that 50/50 ruling big time.. the grey suv was going like 35mph passing traffic on the right where no lane existed
I 1000% agree. He was clearly trying to beat the traffic. I assume that he was supposed to turn into the parking lot. Plus he was going way too fast. If I were the adjuster I'd have fought tooth and nail to make it 100% the douchebag's fault.
Seriously!! I read that and was like wtf????
1:06:00 that kid deadass says "That guy's dead" LOOOL
10:12 that was an impressive stop to that spin out!
thats what i was thinking like god damn
"I don't know if anyone will watch 4 hours of crashes" < sir or madam you do not understand the extent of my boredom and the degree to which this contributes to my utter amusement.
7:50 It’s a common problem in Tampa, pedestrians walking in the street like they own the place. I’ve missed a few of them by inches including bikers.
Honestly, if they made it legal to hit jaywalkers (with proof that they were blatantly jaywalking), there would be a lot fewer jaywalkers
@@ogalief that should honestly have been a citizen's arrest. He should have ran after him. And I agree, they should legalize protections for car owners.
31:26 that guy deserves a Darwin award for real 😂
My jaw dropped when I saw that. At the very end of the clip you can see how close he came to losing his arm.
@2:54:20 i love the transition from wife pissed at husband to oh shit we were in a wreck 😂
After your light turns green, look both ways anyway
1:43:54 you know at this point im starting to think its something wrong with the road lmfao....
That road took "Accident Prone Area" to a whole new level.
Right!?!?! I came here for explaination as to what the heck is going on here. That's TERRIFYING!!!!!
I’ve been scrolling through the comments to see if anyone had commented on this clip. The only way, I can see that is, is for them to put in speed bumps to slow people down.
I must know the lore about this one weird road in Dallas that eats cars for breakfast, lunch and dinner. What the hell is on the other side of that bridge?? A boogeyman that pops out to spook drivers in the far left lane??
@@pamelaspain1602 Me too. Finally someone did. i was howling. But it's also quite worrying!
2:25 first good song I hear in these crash vids:
TOOL!!!
The number of times I've seen reports of Enterprise car rental companies acting like unprofessional jerks post accidents (most where the driver was not responsible) is enough for me to never rent from them.
He was driving and the other object was stationary. If he couldn't stop he was going too fast - pretty simple equation.
52:00 "Unforgivable Language"
I'm pretty sure if someone drives like an idiot and causes an accident ANY language is forgivable
I like how the guy at 24:35 is acting like it's not completely his fault.
Omg that was torturous!! I barely made the 4 hour mark but I did!!
46:00 God that poor child. Makes me wonder if the parents were both on something. The passenger, I'm assuming father/BF didn't do a thing either.
Driver was the kids grandma, can hear her scream “grandma” somewhere in the event. No clue why the passenger was just a black out drunk looking NPC. They both looked like that were out of their minds on something I agree
Watching these idiots in cars should be a lesson for all of us to drive safer.
6:35 did you even hit the brakes, the pick up truck in front of you had no trouble stopping. semi should not have done that but you easily could have avoided it.
I honestly get mad every time i see the clip. They had more than enough time to brake but due to their ego or possibly looking for a payday decided they werent going to stop. Doesnt even matter if they rule 50/50, the cdl driver will most likely get it on his record as a driver. A crash that was easily avoided turned into a shit show.
@@kylewags4461 that driver should get it on his record. Yes the cammer is a moron for not breaking but that semi shouldn’t have turned to begin with.
Yeah the horn started a long time before the brakes. It's like someone driving into a tree and saying "I honked my horn but it wouldn't get out of my way!"
4 hours of bliss
31:00 I thought it was gonna be way worse ngl homie almost got himself smooshed
4 HOURS!!!! WOW this i'll have to come back.
1:28:40 damn that guardrail did its job
6:21 dude CLEARLY just wanted a new car lmao
Guy that hit the tire at 10:20 did an amazing job. Even ended up perfectly parked on the apron.
3:11 - Considering we dont know if the the light was green for the turning lane, it’ll probably remain a mystery to us watching.
This is definetly a very well-made dashcam compilation, with summaries about what happened (also afterwards) and no big cutting effects or overlaid music!
Why are 75% of the clips in this video from 2021 or older even though the title claims "BEST OF YEAR 2022", clearly indicating that the clips are from 2022?!?
6:25 Why didn't he brake and then honk? The semi had no chance of getting out of the way quickly enough even when alerted.
How did one car get ripped into pieces?!?
1:43:53 Wow, that's many people crashing at the same spot...
2:11:46 That happened one day after my 17th birthday...
2:48:25 This video isn't very funny because it's about accidents and many people lost their car in this video. But still, that cartoony **bonk** sound made me crack up laughing.
3:05:33 You were lucky to have survived, that impact mark on the car looks very painful...
3:46:16 That description is funny ;) Me and my father were once joking about an accident where a car crashed into a building "Yea, the building just jumped onto the street!"
@24:37 NEVER tell the other person you have dashcam footage.....UNTIL the other party puts their "side of the story" legally onto a written statement. That way, there is an extra charge on them when it goes to court and it's deemed they falsified what happened.
