Naw, if you are an elderly person who can’t read signs anymore or focus on your surroundings you need to be off the road, and or learn a lesson the hard way. Elderly people have became way to entitled and just decide to do whatever they want now. Whether it’s driving extremely slow in the fast lane, making illegal turns, driving halfway over lane lines, ETC….its gotta stop, just because people are “elderly” doesn’t mean you give them a pass for bad driving which could get other people killed.
@@draulla Maybe she just missed the signs. You don't know. Forcing the "elderly woman" to back out of there could have caused something much worse. Agree. It's not worth the aggravation to your own body. And Elderly people are not becoming entitled, she probably just made a mistake, maybe got a little frightened by being yeld at. We need to have a bit more compassion for our elderly.
@@johnkingery403Tucson local here, I visit that shopping location fairly often. The "Do not enter" signs are on either side of that drive, large and at eye level, as as a "no right turn" from the direction the driver came from. That goes for anyone of any age, you don't get to be a hazard just because you managed to survive enough passes around the sun.
Are you a native to Arizona? Likely not. Suggestion: Ask randomly 20 drivers of all age groups if they were born in Az. I would guess that at least 80% are from elsewhere. So 20% or less possibly are native to Arizona. One of the larger melting pot cities of the nation.
I've lived in AZ a long time, and we aren't that bad really. I spent a few years in LA and I have family in Texas. We have a lot of entitled drivers, but there are worse out there.

As a person who drove a tow truck for whatever. You should know trucks can not stop on a dime. He or she actually did an amazing job not colliding with the idiot that stopped in the middle of a highway.
Didn't hit either of them, locked their brakes and didn't jackknife, even managed to keep the trailer straight and entirely in their lane so didn't even risk other drivers around his ass-end -- yet somehow the cammer decided to bitch about him and not the other two people. Weird, eh?
And the tow truck driver didn't see that the lane in front of the semi was clear until just before he had to lock up his brakes. I'm thinking the two idiots tried to occupy the same place at the same time.
I hope you realize 2 things can be true at once, yes it was a good save from an idiot but his brakes wouldn't have locked up if he was paying attention
Both cammers just kept closing ground on them. It's clear each car is continuing to the left. The Cam drivers clearly don't understand blind spots. Anytime there's a merge just drive defensively and give plenty of space.
I've lived and been to a lot of places so I'm not exaggerating when I say this. I honestly think arizona drivers are easily in the top five worst drivers in the country. #9 Based on the brief amount of evidence, you're doing a terrible job teaching anyone how to drive. If your are going to impede traffic and drive like a jackass, go to an empty parking lot. Nobody "sped around" anyone - you were going 4 miles an hour. And then you have the audacity to show your kid how to pull over and verbally harass someone over an extremely minor traffic confrontation. That always works out well.
What he said to the other guy really wasn't that bad and he was calm and polite at least. He's also far from "impeding traffic" as it looks like a quiet residential street, probably close to the learners home. Could both parties have been more mature? Absolutely. Is there enough evidence in the video to come to a conclusion about the quality of his teaching or even what was happening? No. Maybe they had been going the speed limit up until right before recording started, and it sounds like he's having the learner slow down and look around to learn their blind spots. Maybe there was a car or something next to them that the teacher was using to show the learner exactly where their blind spots start and end. There really isn't enough there to make that kind of call.
I agree with the original comment here. I made almost the same comment. Not good teaching your daughter to react like that. Better to use it as a defensive driver lesson

24. Dodge Challenger stupidity played a major part but the cammer didn't do themselves any favors by trying to squeeze in between the pavement and the challenger.
One thing I've always said about Arizona is there are so many different drivers. There are Californians popping over, and a lot of people move from other states (especially the Midwest, in my experience) where the drivers' norms and regs are different from Arizona. Arizona drivers themselves are already inconsistent with even the same county having different regs for the driver's test, and people can and will drive further away to take tests that don't include parallel parking, for example (not to mention we don't retest until we're 60, so people get lazy, overly confident etc while driving). On a road that was 55 mph named Hunt Hwy, most people were genuinely going either 45 or 65 and very few, actually around 55mph. Add the other state drivers, distracted drivers, people turning into NPCs when they see a sheriff car, etc, and it's an awful mix to drive there. (To clarify the NPC comment:) I was on Hunt Hwy, and most of the cars suddenly drop to 35/40mph. Both me (on my motorcycle) and the sheriff's car are going the speed limit like "Okay, I don't know why you all slowed so much under the limit, but I have places to be" I just stayed behind the sheriff because no way he pulls me over for going the same speed as him lmao. 😅😂
Don't forget the snowbirds from Canada. Interstate 8 is a two-lane in either direction marked at 65 mph through Yuma, and there are times one gets stuck behind two Canadians, side by side BOTH traveling at 54 mph oblivious to the numerous vehicles stuck behind.
There's a stretch of road in my town where you're very likely to have an LEO behind you. If I see a Charger tailgating me doing 10-over without lights on, I immediately speed-up to 20-or-30-over because it's a cop and they have shit to do. However, if I see a Charger hang a few car-lengths back when I'm doing the speed limit, I immediately drop to 10-under because some idiot civilian bought a "police" car...well, now you see how most drivers react to having an officer behind them. Probably should have sprung for a Challenger or Explorer. :)

Exactly!
Show a little respect for your "elders" instead of being a Karen about it.

Weird, eh?

Number 1- Um...who's entitled?
(To clarify the NPC comment:)
I was on Hunt Hwy, and most of the cars suddenly drop to 35/40mph.
Of course then there's rain. Phoenicians freak out driving in rain. And our roads aren't designed for heavy precipitation.
