The worst case of road rage I was ever in the car for, was a mid 50s lady with Jesus fish and bumper stickers. She literally chased us for over half an hour on an 8 hour road trip. I made a sign and stuck it in the window facing her, saying "Jesus loves you!" and for some reason after reading it, she melted back into traffic, never to be seen again :D
People just need to calm down. If someone cuts in front of you they save 5 seconds. Even if you're in the right, getting into a crash will waste many hours of your time getting your car repaired. I give lots of extra room to kids, pedestrians, cyclists/scooters/motorcycles, trucks, busses and idiots. My time, even retired, is more valuable than wasting even a second thought on idiots. They are their own worst enemy. Be thankful you don't work with them.

In The Netherlands, this is only the case when it is not too busy. When it's busy, then we will go one from either lane - like a zipper (we call it ritsen). All (well, most) drivers know and make room for one another which makes merging go much smoother with less frustration. Just give each other a little space and we all get to our destinations.

#6: I've literally had someone do the same thing to me and I literally did nothing wrong. I swear the distance between us was at least 2+ cars on a single lane road. For about 2 miles there was a solid gap of even 3-4 cars of distance and once we reached the first light after the 2 miles he threw his hand out the window to signal I slow down (speed limit was 45 I patiently cruised at his pace of 35). Then after the light were a series of stop signs each no more than 250-300ft apart from each other so being directly behind each other was inevitable. At the final stop sign he pulled to the side, I assumed it was because he found a place to park. After I passed him (without looking at him, windows up, 0 exchange) dude hopped right back behind me, hit his highbeams while throwing up his hand at me, making gun gestures, all that, and attempted to follow me home. At the time I lived on the border of Compton and Watts and if you know anything about the hood is you don't pull up on an unfamiliar block. I made a few calls on the way home, had the homies waiting at the end of the block, the moment the person followed me, two people pulled up behind him and we had him trapped. Let's just say he learned sometimes shit isn't worth it, and just because someone looks scrawny and that you can take them on, if you choose to follow them, you might end up trapped against people who aren't as scrawny or kind as the person you chased.

People don’t just get brake checked for no reason. Cammer obviously cut the video to only show the other driver brake checking them, but didn’t show that he probably had something to do with that. Dude also didn’t let the driver merge even though the other driver was in front of him and his lane was ending. Sped up at the last second to avoid letting the other car merge and in return he got sideswiped. I hate brake checkers, but cammer has just as much fault here. Funeral ain’t no excuse he might as well be driving to McDonald’s.
I'm sure the dude did something to warrant it. Especially considering the way he acted later in the video, speeding up and causing that collision then crying about it like he's the victim.

#6: I've literally had someone do the same thing to me and I literally did nothing wrong. I swear the distance between us was at least 2+ cars on a single lane road. For about 2 miles there was a solid gap of even 3-4 cars of distance and once we reached the first light after the 2 miles he threw his hand out the window to signal I slow down (speed limit was 45 I patiently cruised at his pace of 35). Then after the light were a series of stop signs each no more than 250-300ft apart from each other so being directly behind each other was inevitable. At the final stop sign he pulled to the side, I assumed it was because he found a place to park. After I passed him (without looking at him, windows up, 0 exchange) dude hopped right back behind me, hit his highbeams while throwing up his hand at me, making gun gestures, all that, and attempted to follow me home. At the time I lived on the border of Compton and Watts and if you know anything about the hood is you don't pull up on an unfamiliar block. I made a few calls on the way home, had the homies waiting at the end of the block, the moment the person followed me, two people pulled up behind him and we had him trapped. Let's just say he learned sometimes shit isn't worth it, and just because someone looks scrawny and that you can take them on, if you choose to follow them, you might end up trapped against people who aren't as scrawny or kind as the person you chased.
