I have got both of these watches and i can recommend them. I have got casio F-91W also and i must say it: casio is great company that makes cheap super working watches.
I have both as well, I keep one by my elliptical machine to keep track of the time, and I wear the other one on a vario leather strap. If you just need something to tell the time, it is hard to beat a Casio watch.
I love the 1300. Have both, but the 1300 is the more used one. Maybe because I dont want to scratch my silver ae1200 too. The 1300 has better looking display for my taste. Love the dot matrix mode/day display.
I gave my 1300 to a friend to use when volunteering as a soccer referee. I like them both, but slightly prefer the world timer. I might have to buy another 1300 though.
The 1300 has awesome stopwatch/timer functions. Its well used by many P.E teachers too. Its way cheaper than a legit brand name stopwatches, and being a casio, its probably as accurate. The only trade in is its small and a bit more of a hassle to use. For P.E though, its perfectly serviceable.
@@WrongTimeWatch the DATE on this CASIO Royale watch should be bigger. The DATE and TIME on the CASIO model W96H-1BV watch is much bigger. I can see the TIME on it easily from 1 meter away.
1200 is called Casio Royale, while 1300 is called Referee Timer? Sounds unfair to me, I always thought of 1300 as Total Recall for reasons that it looks retro and kinda reminds me of a certain lady from that movie.
I don't like the inscription inside '10 YEAR BATTERY'.It's better on the outside, which will wear off over time. The next thing is how long does the alarm signal last in these two watches?Only 10 seconds,or longer as standard? Is there a SNZ("Snooze")function on these two watches?Best wishes!
Sorry, I don't know all the functions on these two watches, I just use them for telling the time. As for the text on the case, you can remove it with some rubbing alcohol
I like world time watch because it shows map and needle type system but the display of refree watch is of big size and shows dual time together but does not show world time exactly. But the upper area of the ref watch is retro type which did not look good.
AE 1300 (grey bezel) and AE 1400 (Gold bezel) are my choices since these are available here in India AE 1400 is functionally identical to AE 1200, so I get the best of all worlds !
Hello! Are the numbers in the Casio Referee Timer bigger than in the Casio Royale? At least it is my impression. I hope they are because I have bad vision, I have to wear my Casio Royale in my right wrist to see the time better, and I wonder if the Casio Referee Timer is eassier to read. Thanks!
also for Big Numbers: AE-1500WH (same price). And (for just a Little more money) - most of the SGW range are good for big numbers as-well-as 'world time' and 'twin sensors' .
Is it possible to swap out the innards, so that the 1300 is in silver with the steel bracelet? Thinking of doing this as the 1300 has a nicer display imo 👍 Edit: you mentioned that in the video lol
@WrongTimeWatch please post a review when you do change those over. I too have not changed mine over yet, do to the fact im on the road working. I will get them changed over in may when I get back home. Keep us posted

I recently ordered the AE1200 online and can't wait it to be arrived. 💖
Awesome, it is a good watch for the money. I am currently wearing mine on a Vario leather strap.

LOL, thanks for putting that image in my mind. Could be a good name for this watch.
"you make me wish i had three hands"...lololol - wow it works as a suitable pun also.
The AE1200 is my choice, although the AE1300 would be useful for the multiple countdown timers for doing exercises..
Maybe if I spent more time with the AE1300 I could better figure out how to use the timers, but so far it has stumped me.
I just prefer the AE1200's look so much more, cant really explain why haha
Yes, I agree with you.
It's a classic, classy Look!

The nice thing is that they are not terribly expensive, so you could have both in your collection if you wanted. I prefer the world timer as well.
i like the black watch
Either one is a good choice, and fun to mod.

@@jawad0sharif I loved AE-1200 with gold/bronze bezel, so I ordered it from Amazon US.
I own both (actually the 1600 for the refree).
My vote goes to the Royale
Thanks, thar is my vote as well.

What material are they? Stainless steel?
No, they are all plastic other then the caseback and springboard. Well, the bracelet is also steel.

Thanks for the great video. Good explanation.

Yea, these watches are fun to play around with.
I have both these and bought the SKXMOD kits for them to get the metal case. These are very cool watches, just the plastic resin case is not for me.
I bought a SKX mod kit as well, but have not had a chance to put them together yet.

Isn’t the left dial for 10 seconds and not minutes?
Yes, you are correct. I must have misspoke on the video. I did just go and look at the watch and you are right.
World time is beautiful!
I agree, it is a great watch
Nice comparison
Thank you
Is the metal strap strong enough? Does it feel flimsy?
It does feel flimsy, but it is plenty strong. I think the springbar or the plastic case would break before the metal strap does.
@@WrongTimeWatch then should I get the black resign strap version of the royale?
@@yumeyamamoto That is totally up to you. I don't like red watches, so I would.

Both are not cool and will not make you more cool. Your friends knew it.
That "Casio Royale" name is bullshit and unrelated. Come on, seriously.. you know that's just a cheap digital watch from Casio.
Casio Royale is a well known nickname for this watch. Yes, the watch is inexpensive, however that does not mean that is a cheap watch.
Casio digital watches are the best.
Casio watches r great.
