How do you use it? I time myself when I do tasks. It helps me get started, persevere, and focus.

@@read_me_a_story I set the first interval timer at 10 minutes, get it to repeat, and turn it on when I have to do stuff, so I can gauge how long I've been working.
Thank you for showing us the display details on the viewing angle section (with comparison). I never own any Casio AE model but the WS-1600 is the one for me base on this important point. My experience, viewing angle issue just like a Skmei digital watch at a even lower price. I'm very disappointed when a Casio digital watch (not all but some) with a view angle issue, which you see all the 88:88 88:88 appears at a certain degree angle.

I've just ordered the AE 1300! Supposedly, it specializes in the countdown function, so, since that's what I use my watches for mostly, I decided getting one is a good idea.
Well, that's the pretext. In actuality, it just looks so good I couldn't resist.
What are these added functions? I was too lazy to find out. I suppose I'll get the full picture 3 days after fiddling with mine.
One cool feature that I would recommend you to try is the interval timer.
It can be used for Pomodoro timer, exercise timer, and so on.
It’s the perfect watch! In my opinion.
The seconds portion I believe is modeled after a digital tachometer from Honda cars. Same design. And looks like Casios Honda ex watch
Yes, and another similar layout is the old TS100 (but the indicator is for thermometer)
I’ve had 5 ae1300s over the past 7 or so years. I only re buy them because I’m too lazy to change out the straps lol. I think the new count down/up on the ws will be more useable. When your trying to count something in seconds on the fly the wheels always were disorientating for me.

About the display design, I think so. The graphs on the new one looks easier to understand.

Do you know any watch with World Tine , a snooze alarm, auto repeat function for timer and backlight ( raise to wake preferred).
I could not find all these in one watch as they are my most used features
Sorry, but with my limited knowledge, I don't know any.
The closest ones may be the GD350 and G5600, but the timer has no auto-repeat.
Or maybe something like the W737, but it only has dual time and no auto-backlight.

Not a runner, so I can't give an exact advice.
But if you use intervals, then I can recommend WS1600 (better layout) or AE1300 (classic layout).
Can i choose a city for the world timer and i can easily access that one every time or I have to "scroll" each time I want to check that precise city?
The last city viewed/selected on the World Time will be shown again when you return to World Time.
But we can not assign cities as T1,T2,T3 and T4 like on the AE1200

i'm confused i like both ae 1300(40$) and ws 1600(50$),which one should i get ,i wear watch on my right hand ,wearing watchen on right hand extraordinarily increases the viewing angle,please reply
Both are great, but I'd prefer the WS1600 for usual viewing angle

Ive got both and prefer the 1300. I modded mine with an urban cammo strap and bull bars.
Now, that's something I need to try, the bullbar :)
@@SamsWatchReview The ones I got were thin wire so I made them thicker with shrink wrap, but only on the top and sides, so it still fits. I had to cut them first.

The both the AE1200 & 1300 look much better than this new sibling.
Personally I prefer these 2 to the 1200.

Tapi sayang minim fitur (tidak ada fitur spesial) seperti di seri2 pendahulunya, WS 1200/1300/1400/1500, dimana memiliki fitur spesial seperti: fishing, moon phase, tide graph, lap memory.

the font on the a1300 looks thicker
07:35, yes indeed, thicker and also more contrast.
About the contrast, my guess is, Casio changed their polarizer angle for more legibility at critical angle.
And sleeker. A much better font.
Also the detail at the upper left corner ruins the whole face of the watch.

Secara tampilan maupun fitur mirip2 dengan AE 1200/1300 yang harganya 100k lebih murah.
Jawabannya akan subjektif, tergantung ekspektasi dan preferensi masing-masing user.
Cuman secara overall untuk jam "wasit" yang tampilannya lebih mudah dibaca, ya ok banget.
Kalau beli ae1200 atau ae1300, otomatis hidup terus stok lama ga sampai 10 tahun,,paling 5-6 th soalx hidup trus 😅 kalau ini kluaran baru jelas batrei yakin 10 tahun, tipe btrei sama cuma baru dihidupkan
