Yes, this is an Angelina original. Many have commented that it sounds like a Bond theme. She could certainly write and perform a Bond song because there's nothing she can't do, and her voice, needless to say, would be perfect for it. There are those who don't recognize her charisma and stage presence, but for any perceptive person it is obvious. I think people sometimes confuse flashiness and style with substance. You have so many more absolutely incredible Angelina performances to discover and enjoy, and I look forward to your astute reactions to all of them!
Many artists need the flash, sex, pyrotechnics to put on a show. If you take that away you would probably realize that for some there really isn’t much substance there. At least not enough to make them any different or any better than the others.

About us Angels, about her family, about god? Sure, why not? Take your pick, and really solid either way. Universal as always. She does want us all on board in the end.
Angelina is well aware of the many of her recorded mentors including Billie Holiday, Elvis, Amy, Janis, Michael, Whitney, Dinah Washington, Judy Garland, and many others that passed away far too early from abuse of substances or by those around them. She's very appreciative of her family and team that have provided guidance and protection for her while she focuses on her gift and dreams. This song is a show of that appreciation, "You are my fire when I can't see, You're the one watching over me", and asking for forgiveness "for all that I am", in striving for her destiny. It's a powerful song of gratitude and awareness for a child of 12. And, sorry to say, you only played a portion of it instead of letting her carry us through her emotions centered on this subject.

After she won Norways got Talent she got many offers. including a million Doller contract from Disney, the family turned all of them down saying that shes going to have anormal childhood and education, at the time of this video she was going to a normal school every day....... her Grand mother is Iranian and AJ speaks Farsi as one of her 5 languages.

Hi Boudy! I think your prediction is correct on the Bond song. In fact, I've heard several other reactors mention this as well. I think this a very strong composition, considering her age. As an amateur songwriter and musician myself, I see her falling into a couple of the traps most new songwriters fall into, such as being too wordy to try and fill all the space. If she were willing to pare down just a few lines, though, for example changing the second and fourth "You are my fire" in the chorus to just "My fire," I think this would be a worldwide hit Great reaction, as always!

Nice reaction and nice prediction about Angelina! There was an interview before this performance and she did say she drew inspiration from the James Bond music when she wrote Shield. As a matter of fact, she did say that Diamonds Are Forever is her favorite James Bond song!

Here she is only 12 years old. She sang a little bit different version of this song live in 2019 Norway summer outdoor concert when she was 13 years old. I really liked that version a lot. That version can also be found in RUclips.

Excellent reaction and review. Five (5) things that are available to an artist and she has all five (5).....nailed it. That is why my personal view has always been that Angelina is a gift from GOD. I would add that Angelina is step beyond child prodigy.....Angelina offers contextual communication. Her vocal chords vibrate at such a frequency that communicates emotion.....connects with a listener on an emotional level. The Persians brought the visual aid to communication through symbols.....Angelina has taken the visual communicative musical note and converted it back emotional communication. That is what impresses me the most.

How did I miss that part? I guess my life has been so busy it’s been just enough to listen to as many of Angelina’s songs over the last ten years as I can… and reactions to her songs too.
Well, I see Angelina well surrounded by her Angels, any of us would help her out in a minute if we could is my feeling… and we’d do it as parents, siblings, cousins, to a visiting relative. Welcoming her and offering space, and ear, a meal, a ride, whatever was within our ability.

This is a truly exceptional original song, for the choice of musical style with a nice fusion of pop and jazz, for the lyrics still well balanced and finally because it was made by a 12 year old girl. The subject of the lyrics is certainly not what every twelve year old thinks, but instead it is natural for her to understand that she is still very young, even if unique, and therefore that she needs a shield, between her and the world, which can easily ruin her or destroy her, just as happened to so many talented young artists, including some of those she admires, like Avicii, Amy, Whitney. Deep down, her lyrics are supposed to refer to her mother and grandmother who are her shield, especially from the dangers of the entertainment industry. 💛🧡❤

Great reaction. In an interview immediately before performing this song, Angelina said that she got inspiration for this song from the "James Bond theme" sound. I agree with you that she is the total package and her future is unlimited. Not only does she have the five elements you mentioned, she also has an emotional and moral grounding, work ethic, and family support network that is phenomenal.

She said in the interview on that show she loves Goldfinger and Diamonds are forever (she covered the latter brilliantly on a concert ).
The next Bond production is ready for signing, so the call for song proposals should materialize this year. It wouldnt surprise me if UMG were pulling some strings this time to at least push her into the selection process.
This song having the "Bond-sound" was in fact commented on by the host of the talkshow and Angelina admitted to being inspired by certain Bond songs like "Diamonds are forever" and "Goldfinger" so your are spot on with her sound and inspiration here. :)

What a talent to pen a powerhouse like this , her self penned A Million Miles is one of my all time favourite tracks the Studio version , she also did a slowed down version live 2022 which is truly worth playing as well, once seen you will now why!! Great reaction.

During the interview section because of her achievements they asked her if she felt 12 she replied" only when I look at my passport". 6 songs 32 just on her cover chanel alone. First origional about her family and lie is pure jazz WHAT IS LIFE is so simple and profound it made me cry.
