Oh my goodness !! I can’t wait to hit this tonight! Magic !
This is my go to BJJ channel, I am literally learning from a legend.. so precious to have this out there for us. OSS ! Thank you.
JJM is one of a handful of teachers with incredibly refined technique. Rickson, Jean-Jacques, Saulo/Xande/Lovato, Henry Akins, Matt Thornton to mention some of them. The big competitive gyms cater to hardcore competitors - constant training, strength/conditioning focus, lots of likeminded guys. They don't always have the most refined technique though.
100%. Chad Lyman'd got pretty good concepts too
Simple, brutal and effective!
Oh I have a buddy that loves to play half guard... 😆 next roll is going to be fun
Was done to me in a Blue Belt tournament-it works!
Beautiful 🤩
detalhes...10 anos pra eu aprender as dicas para finalizar. Ossu
Never seen it from half guard before. Definitely trying it out
Esse sabe tudo e mais um pouco.
Will this work if the guy on bottom has an underhook?
I have kicked too many partners for not doing well that detaIL. Thanks for sharing.
Flavio Canto greatest Judoka newaza of all time.
what if he has you in half guard and he wont come any closer?
Choke works best when in side control but this variation is used when your opponent tries to play deep half. Like everything in BJJ, it’s about timing.
I wonder if you can hit this without defeating the knee shield.
I would think not since it creates to much space between you and your oponent. I think you have to beat the shield first..
