First time I've heard a reaction from you and I'm glad I found you! GVF has come a long way with this album. To me, it's a beautiful tapestry, woven with stellar musicianship, soaring vocals and meaningful lyrics. I hope you'll react to their "Candlelight Sessions" of Broken Bells and Tears of rain. Live, with some orchestra members playing also. They're absolutely beautifully done and I think you'd appreciate the effort. ☮️😎

I'm New to your Channel and you caught me right away with your unfiltered truth of the world we live in, kudos, I have been following this band since 2017 and their growth is incredible. Maybe it's just me but in a few of their songs like this one I hear a little bit of influence from Miriam Makeba which is one of the lead singers favorites, great reaction video👍👍

When you mention that sound you recognize it’s the same one from David Bowies space odyssey I believe
I saw a clip they filmed on Record Store Day, and each was picking up some albums that they love, and Josh picked Miriam Makeba, and even though I think that he mispronounced her surname a bit, I was surprised that he even heard of Mama Africa. He said that he was blown away by her or something. These guys had a proper and broad musical upbringing.
I mean they're so young to have heard of her, for Americans.
@@carmensandiego7749 There's a reason for that, their parents introduced them to all kinds of music. Kelly Kiszka (Dad) plays in two bands, and is an aficionado on Harmonica!

Come to Australia - I gladly welcome you - music touches souls and not colour - they do not copy - they are Greta Van Fleet - Maybe you would be welcome in Michigan. The church you mention is the Peaceful Army - GVF members who just want to embrace and protect nature and love and that might be why people want to compare them to 70s band but we need that message more than ever. They started so young and still are - but they are magnificent. Thanks Dude from Africa!
